Bennett's transformation continued. The Gungnir received orders and realized that this was no longer an enemy they could handle, so they spurred their horses and retreated to continue clearing out the remaining enemies on the outskirts of the battlefield.
The Blood Corpse that had been overlooked seemed to be drawn by an immense force, their legs moving uncontrollably toward Bennett.
The players on the city wall cleaned up the Blood Corpse and looked down at Bennett, who then leisurely started recording.
After all, all the bosses in the World of Disorder (except Yiden ) only appeared once before disappearing, which is already considered extravagant in terms of cost.
Therefore, each BOSS's transformation into the second or even third stage is a unique and precious video.
Under everyone's watchful eyes, the last resemblance between Bennett and a human was swallowed up by flesh and blood, and his entire body began to transform into a giant ball of flesh.
However, the excessive amount of flesh and blood was beyond Bennett's control at the moment, and [ Aluode ], lying on the ground, could clearly see that his body had begun to disintegrate.
Like a piece of dough with a dry surface, every time Bennett uses flesh to fill a gap in one spot, another gap will appear on the other side of the flesh ball, and the number of gaps is constantly increasing, soon exceeding the limit of Bennett's ability to repair.
At this rate, Bennett will ruin himself without them even having to lift a finger; he'll be a complete clown.
No wonder this guy stopped developing the villa after turning the Blood Corpse into tents. I thought it was because he had valuable troops, but now it seems he simply couldn't do it.
[ Aluode ] thought victory was within his grasp, but from within his red and white body, a voice that penetrated to the very soul resounded:
" Antos, my progenitor, your humble youngest son, Bennett Antos, beseeches you once more to look upon this place!"
At that moment, even the autumn night wind seemed to freeze for a second, and everyone held their breath.
To the High Tier, this was nothing more than a war between two groups of ants; however, the moment that prayer was uttered, everything began to change.
A gaze fell upon this battlefield from the Depths of the World, like an unseen giant hand gently smoothing out the wrinkles and cracks on the fleshy mass.
Everything started to go wrong. Bennett regained control of his body and quickly repaired the missing parts. Then the entire ball of flesh began to collapse, its bulging surface wrinkling like a deflated balloon.
The next moment, the skin was pierced by bone spurs oozing with Corpse Poison. [ Aluode ] could see clearly that each bone spur came from the Aberration of his finger.
However... fifteen, sixteen...
[ Aluode ] was counting his pupils when suddenly his eyes widened in surprise.
There are a full twenty bone spurs... what's inside them...?
The enormous scabbard suddenly burst open, and the blood mist slowly dissipated, revealing a monster standing beneath the city walls that was half a head taller than the half-dragon with Lion Hidden in the Eyes.
His body was about 70-80% similar to a human's in proportion, and a layer of white-yellowish human bone formed a complete set of bony armor in the vital areas of his body.
His upper face still bears some resemblance to Bennett's, but it's the lower half of his face that has been completely Aberration into a non-human form.
Where Bennett's mouth used to be, now there are three lamprey-like mouthparts growing side by side. Bennett's old age has vanished without a trace; his skin, though pale, is smooth and delicate like that of a newborn baby.
As the blood mist completely dissipated, what shocked [ Aluode ] the most was not Bennett's face, but those four thick, powerful arms.
No wonder there were twenty bone spurs; it turned out that he had completely fused his abilities with his body. At this moment, those giant flesh and blood hands no longer existed in the form of being rooted to the ground, but had completely merged with Bennett.
Still feigning death, [ Aluode ] squinted and carefully examined Bennett's shoulders, discovering that the area around the other's shoulder blades had become completely different from that of a human. Two independent arms grew from each side of the body on the shoulders, making it look both terrifying and extremely eerie.
Having fully transformed, Bennett stepped back onto the ground, and the three lamprey mouthparts on his face emitted a sharp hiss in unison.
Experienced players of various games know very well that monsters always let out a roar after transforming, which is the signal to start a battle!
The players on the city wall sprang into action, joining the battle to confront this formidable boss. Some Alienation vines into rope ladders, while others tied Deadwood Vine around their waists for a bungee jump. Amidst the Calamity chaos, their loud conversations were also heard.
"I'm so angry! Yesterday I was secretly cursing the developers for being too weak because the boss in Weeping Willow Town was too easy, and today they show me this kind of transformation?"
"I'm sorry, planner, I'll never curse you again!"
"It's unlikely they'll never criticize again, so I've decided to grant the planner a month of immunity from criticism."
"This second-stage animation is definitely an improvement over Yiden's, isn't it?"
"He's definitely a four-armed tyrant. I can't even imagine how oppressive it would be if this were indoors; it feels like there's nowhere to hide..."
"Hide? Who said hide? Damn it, I'm avoiding his attacks?"
Almost the instant the roar erupted, the players unleashed their special skills to join the battle; however, one attack was faster than all of their combined attacks.
In the darkness, a flash of silver light appeared, and the lying-down [ Aluode ] saw Xilǐ'er ride his steed into the air, directly over the area of caltrops that the horse was not friendly to.
Before the man and his horse had even landed, the knight's silver lance had already slammed into Bennett's chest with tremendous force.
The silver spear clashed with the bone armor, and a dull cracking sound echoed across the battlefield.
Countless bone fragments, large and small, were instantly blasted away, some even embedding themselves in the city wall behind them, leaving behind specks of white.
Even though he had lost his mouth and the lower half of his face, a look of shock still appeared on Bennett's face.
The progenitor Antos had just blessed him, yet the knight before him could so easily break through his bone armor.
However, Xilǐ'er, behind the dimly lit observation window, was even more shocked than Bennett.
Decades ago, he used a similar all-out thrust to kill a vampire count in a melee. In recent months, he has spent almost all of his salary in the Second Holy See on iron ingots to replenish his strength, making him no weaker than he was decades ago.
