Ed's roots and branches continued upwards along the cracks created by the earthquake, to the fourth layer, the third layer, the second layer, the first layer...

The once flat wasteland of Klaf City was suddenly filled with earth-shattering collapses.
Hundreds of different Aberration plants sprouted from the soil and, under the horrified gazes of numerous worms (who actually had no eyes) who had been frightened to the surface by the earthquake, transformed into a lush forest.
Ed's process of becoming High Tier has begun.
