In that instant, the professional cameraman snapped back to reality, immediately started filming, and captured everyone in the frame.
The [ Iconic Moment ] buff has been triggered!
In an instant, sunlight poured down from the glass skylight at the top of the terminal, gilding Cheng Che with a thin layer of gold.
His eyes were half-open, his face slightly turned to the side, his sunglasses had just left his nose, and his fingers were still resting on the temples of the glasses.
Behind him was a huge floor-to-ceiling window, and outside on the tarmac, a plane was taxiing.
Su Jianqiu's hand hovered in mid-air, Ning Qing's cup stopped at her lips, Huang Ming put his arm around Zhou Yuan's shoulder, and Zhou Yuan's mouth was open in an "O" shape.
Further on, several female staff members huddled together, some covering their mouths, others forgetting to hold onto their crooked documents.
A young male stagehand next to him shook his head and laughed, while the older one had just stubbed out his cigarette.
Everyone was watching him.
Su Jianqiu was closest to him and was the first to react.
She had just been laughing at how well he covered himself up, but now that she saw his face directly, her smile froze for a second, and then...
She swallowed hard.
The movement was very light, but Cheng Che was too close to her, and he heard it.
Su Jianqiu realized it herself, her ears turning bright red. Then, embarrassed and angry, she took a half-step back, her voice rising:
Cheng Che, you!
She looked him up and down, her eyes widening, and finally she couldn't help herself:
"You look even better now??? You didn't look like this on set last time!!!"
As she spoke, she reached out to pinch his cheek, Cheng Che turned his head to dodge. She missed, and, both angry and amused, slapped his arm.
Why are you hiding? I just want to see if it's real.
Cheng Che sighed helplessly, " Sister Su, you pinched it like that last time too."
"Last time was last time, and this time is this time." Su Jianqiu said matter-of-factly, then stared at him for two seconds, clicked her tongue, and said, " Ruanning told me you've gotten even more handsome lately, and I didn't believe her. Fine, I give up."
The commotion was even greater from the side staff.
A female director stood behind the camera, her script lying on the ground, unpicked up.
A female makeup artist's brush hovered in mid-air, her eyes fixed on Cheng Che's direction, her lips slightly parted, unable to close for a long time.
A male staff member was moving boxes when he saw Cheng Che. His movements faltered for a moment, and the boxes almost slipped from his hands.
He quickly hugged her and whispered, "Damn it."
The female staff members' expressions were even more exaggerated.
One of them immediately covered their mouth, their eyes widened, and they froze on the spot for two seconds before grabbing their colleague's sleeve, trying to suppress the urge to scream:
"He's a hundred times more handsome in person than in photos... Who photoshopped those pictures? They made him look ugly!!"
The colleague next to me didn't answer at all.
She stared in Cheng Che's direction, swallowed hard, and didn't even notice the document in her hand had tilted to one side.
Her gaze lingered on Cheng Che, from his face to his shoulders, from his shoulders to his waist, then she unconsciously licked her lips, before quickly pursing them.
A little further away, a female stagehand in her early twenties jumped up and down on the spot, only to be stopped by a senior colleague who held her shoulder.
"Hold on, we're recording a show."
She tried to steady herself, but her eyes were still glued to Cheng Che, and she whispered:
"I can't stay calm, sis... Did you see him smile just now? He smiled!"
The male staff members, however, reacted in a completely different way.
A young male stagehand looked at Cheng Che, his face clearly saying "I'm convinced," shook his head, and smiled—a smile that conveyed a man's approval of another man.
He patted his colleague next to him, pointed in Cheng Che's direction, and said only two words: "Awesome."
The colleague next to him glanced at it, nodded, and didn't say anything, but silently stubbed out his cigarette.
Another older staff member, with a calmer expression but eyes full of approval, muttered, "This kid was born for this."
Ning Qing sat on the sofa.
She was holding a cup, her gaze casually sweeping over.
Then Cheng Che took off his sunglasses and turned his head.
She stopped moving.
Her gaze lingered on Cheng Che's face for two seconds, then the tips of her ears turned red, followed by a slight blush on her cheeks, and finally even her neck was tinged with a light pink.
She quickly lowered her head, picked up her glass, and took a sip, trying to hide her feelings.
But my hand trembled slightly, and the hot drink almost spilled.
She put down her cup, touched her earlobe with her fingertip, and then pursed her lips.
Her legs unconsciously tightened together.
The movement was so subtle that no one noticed, but she herself was momentarily stunned.
She took a deep breath, placed the cup on the table, and clasped her hands together on her knees, her knuckles turning slightly white.
No one around her noticed her, but she knew that her heart had raced just now, so fast that it made her a little flustered.
Huang Ming patted Zhou Yuan on the shoulder, his voice not loud, but picked up by the sound engineer, "This younger brother is so handsome."
Zhou Yuan nodded, his tone exaggerated. "If I stand next to him, the camera doesn't even need to light me; his reflection is enough."
Huang Ming laughed out loud, "Don't exaggerate like that."
"I'm not exaggerating." Zhou Yuan turned to Cheng Che and said seriously, " Brother Cheng, from now on when we're doing missions together, stand closer to me so I can get some of the benefits."
Cheng Che chuckled, "Okay, I'll try my best, but please still call me 'little brother,' I'm only 18."
Su Jianqiu stood to the side, observing the reactions of those around her, then glanced at Cheng Che, and nodded in satisfaction.
"That's more like it," she said. "Don't keep covering your face; it's such a waste to keep it covered."
Cheng Che put his sunglasses into his pocket, then suddenly remembered something and glanced at Su Jianqiu:
" Sister Su, what was that message Ruanning asked you to pass on for me?"
Su Jianqiu paused for a moment, then rolled her eyes. "She didn't say anything. She just told me to keep an eye on you, so you don't get snatched away by a female celebrity in South Korea."
Cheng Che: "... I'm not a child."
"You're in much more danger than a child right now," Su Jianqiu said, glancing at him again and clicking her tongue twice. "Let's go, time to board."
She turned and walked forward, took two steps, then looked back at Cheng Che, her gaze lingering on his face for a moment before quickly turning back and quickening her pace.
