It was still dark when the cruise ship left Port of Ningbo.
Nothing could be seen on the sea except the ship's bow light illuminating a small patch of water ahead, where white foam churned.
Teacher Huang, wrapped in a coat, huddled on the sofa in the cabin, her eyes closed, muttering, "Why did I take this show?"
Several guests were slumped in their chairs, some already snoring.
Cheng Che stood on the deck, holding onto the railing, looking at the distant sea.
The wind was strong, but he didn't feel it blowing on him.
He glanced at the system panel; the [ Little Luck ] value had jumped to nine points.
He paused for a moment, stunned.
Nine o'clock.
Previously, it was usually around 7 o'clock at most. This number is abnormally high.
Before I could think about it, the production team came out of the cabin, clapped their hands, and said, "Everyone, wake up, it's time for the game."
Teacher Huang opened one eye. "What game? You haven't even eaten, what game are you playing?"
"The winner gets their breakfast upgraded from instant noodles to a seafood feast."
The production team chuckled and brought over a folding table. On the table was a huge Jenga set, stacked into a small tower with eighteen layers, three blocks on each layer.
Then he took out a small box, opened it, and inside was a row of small black instruments connected to electrode patches.
Teacher Huang glanced at the box, and her expression changed. "What's this?"
"A physiotherapy device," the production team member smiled gently. "It's attached to the arm to relax the muscles."
Teacher Huang posted it with some skepticism.
A few seconds later, his arm began to shake uncontrollably, and the shaking became more and more pronounced.
"This is supposed to relax muscles?!" Teacher Huang's eyes widened, her arms trembling like leaves. "This is clearly an electric shock!"
The production team smiled but remained silent.
Several guests took turns applying the stickers, and after they were all done, the entire cabin was filled with images of trembling hands. The female singer's hands were shaking so badly that she couldn't even hold her cup steady.
The male actor was shaking the most; he was pressing one hand against the other, repeatedly saying, "No, no, no, I can't control myself."
Several crew members on the cruise ship leaned against the door watching the commotion. Someone burst out laughing, and was tugged at the sleeve by the person next to him, but couldn't stop, his shoulders swaying.
It was Cheng Che's turn.
The production crew handed him a physiotherapy device and helped him apply it to his arm.
Cheng Che took a moment to feel it.
I didn't feel anything.
With his stamina of 80, plus [ Enduring Progress Without Fail ] and [ Self-Healing Instinct ], this electrical current was like a mosquito bite to him.
He even felt a little comfortable, like he was getting a mini massage on his arm.
But he glanced at Teacher Huang's trembling hands, then at the expressions of the guests wincing in pain, and at the staff members laughing uproariously at the door.
Then he silently activated [ Faces of All Beings ].
Three seconds later, his arm began to tremble.
The shaking was very layered: it started with a slight tremor, then the amplitude gradually increased, and finally it shook at the same frequency as Teacher Huang and the others.
His expression was also spot-on.
His lips were slightly downturned, a shallow line was furrowed between his brows, and he occasionally hissed.
They acted so realistically.
Teacher Huang glanced at him and said sympathetically, "You're shaking too, aren't you? This thing hurts so much."
Cheng Che gritted his teeth and nodded, his expression pained. "Yeah, a little."
The effect of [ The Faces of All Beings ] was so good that Teacher Huang had no doubts at all, and even gave him a "misery loves company" look.
"The rules are simple," the production team member said. "You and the production team each send one person to take turns removing a block from the tower. Whoever removes a block when the tower collapses loses. You'll be constantly receiving electric shocks to your hands; you have to endure them while you're removing a block."
Teacher Huang glanced at the tower, then at his trembling hands, and turned to the guests, asking, "How do you play this thing?"
" Teacher Huang, you go first!" the production team egged on.
Teacher Huang gritted her teeth, squatted down, and reached for the building blocks.
His fingers trembled so much that he couldn't even grip the edges of the blocks; he tried three times before he finally managed to.
Then, with a sudden pull, my hand trembled violently, and the block almost fell to the ground.
He quickly withdrew his hand, took a deep breath, and tried again. This time, he bit his lip and forcefully pulled the block out.
The tower swayed twice, but didn't collapse.
"Good!"
Teacher Huang held up the building blocks, her hands still trembling, the blocks swaying in her hands like bells.
He turned to the camera, his voice trembling, "See that? Experience counts!"
The cruise ship staff were already laughing hysterically.
A man in uniform leaned against the door frame, laughing so hard he was slapping his thigh.
Then it was the turn of the young director in the directing team.
He squatted down, his hands shaking even more violently than Teacher Huang's, and tried to twitch twice but couldn't.
Teacher Huang shouted from the side, "Are you sure you can do this?!"
He gritted his teeth and pulled hard, and the blocks came out. The tower wobbled three times but didn't fall over.
His legs were trembling when he stood up, and the production crew were laughing at him.
The next guests took turns speaking.
The actor squatted down, and the moment his hand touched the building blocks, his entire arm began to tremble violently. He tried to pull it away but couldn't, and hissed in pain. He turned around and shouted:
"No, no, can I give up?"
Teacher Huang shouted, "No! You can smoke!"
He gritted his teeth and pulled it out. The tower swayed twice. When he stood up, his hands were still shaking. He slumped into the chair, looking like he had just survived a disaster.
The female singer fared even worse; her hands trembled so much when she squatted down that she couldn't align the blocks properly. She tried five times before finally managing to grab them, and when she pulled them out, she cried out in pain, threw the blocks on the table, and shouted, "I'm never playing with these again!"
The onlookers were laughing so hard they were doubled over, and some had already started taking pictures with their phones.
When it was Cheng Che's turn again, the tower had already been pulled out by almost half, and the remaining blocks were stacked crookedly, with the center of gravity severely off-center.
Teacher Huang patted him on the shoulder, his hand still trembling. "Brother, the pressure is on you."
Cheng Che squatted down and glanced at the entire tower.
He reached out, pinched the corner of a building block, and pulled it outwards.
The tower swayed and tilted to the left.
He stopped, switched to another one, and drew it from the right side.
My hands are shaking.
He gritted his teeth, his fingers turning white as he pulled it out little by little.
The other guests didn't dare to breathe. Teacher Huang's hands were shaking even more violently than before, but he didn't look down at his hands; his eyes were fixed on Cheng Che.
The building blocks are out.
The tower swayed twice, then stabilized.
"Beautiful!!!" Teacher Huang was the first to shout, her hands still trembling, but her voice was loud.
When the young director from the production team squatted down, he was clearly also shocked by the electric shock.
His hands were shaking so badly he couldn't aim the blocks properly. He tried to pull them out twice but couldn't, and sweat was pouring down his forehead.
The rest of the production team shouted from the sidelines, "Hurry up! Stop dawdling!"
He gritted his teeth and pulled hard. The tower swayed and tilted about fifteen degrees to the left, but it didn't fall over.
"This doesn't even fall down?!" Teacher Huang's eyes widened, her hand trembling as she pointed at the tower. "Did you put glue on these building blocks?"
After several rounds, everyone's hands were shaking uncontrollably, and their faces were filled with pain, but more and more people around them were laughing.
Seven or eight cruise ship staff members had already gathered, some laughing so hard they were squatting on the ground, others banging on the wall saying, "This show is too ruthless!"
It was Cheng Che's turn again.
The tower was leaning so far to the side that only a thin pillar was supporting it on the left.
Teacher Huang glanced at the tower, then at Cheng Che, and sighed, " Cheng Che, why don't you just admit defeat? This one's really beyond saving."
Cheng Che squatted down and stared at the crooked tower for several seconds. He reached out and pinched a block from the bottom layer, then gently pulled it outwards.
The tower swayed, tilted back to the right, wobbled twice, and then stabilized.
The entire room fell silent for a moment.
Then Teacher Huang shouted, "Holy shit!!!"
Several guests joined in the cheering, and the female singer jumped a couple of times, her hands trembling, but she still clapped.
The male actor clapped his hands and shouted, "Amazing! Amazing!"
A cheer erupted from the cruise ship staff, and someone whistled.
The young director from the directing team walked over, his hands trembling, glanced at the tower, and had a complicated expression.
Teacher Huang rushed over and hugged Cheng Che's shoulder, shouting into the camera, "See that?! That's the hand of a world Champion! As steady as a machine! Even an electric shock couldn't stop him!"
Then it was the directors' turn.
The young director squatted down, and the tower tilted slightly as soon as his hand touched the blocks.
He quickly stopped, switched to another piece, and after only two pulls, the entire tower collapsed with a crash.
"It's down! It's down! It's down!!!" Several guests shouted at the same time. Teacher Huang was the first to rush up and clap his hands at the blocks on the ground, "We won! Seafood feast!"
The production team shrugged and admitted defeat.
When breakfast was served, everyone perked up.
Seafood congee, steamed ribbonfish, boiled shrimp, stir-fried crab pieces, and cold seaweed salad.
The guests sat around a small table in the cabin, their hands still trembling slightly, but they held their chopsticks steadily.
Teacher Huang picked up a piece of ribbonfish, put it in his mouth, chewed it a couple of times, and remarked with emotion, "This meal was hard-won."
Just as everyone was having a good time, the loudspeaker suddenly came on.
The sounds inside were also incredibly excited.
Attention, guests! A pod of dolphins has been spotted ahead and is expected to pass by our port side in two minutes. Interested passengers are requested to proceed to the port deck for viewing.
Cheng Che looked at the system panel; the value of [ Little Luck ] was still jumping up.
