Cheng Che opened it and saw that it was sent by Qin Lie.
"Be careful, you don't want to be a dad so early, do you?"
Cheng Che was speechless upon seeing this. This Qin Lie was shameless; he really seemed to thrive on chaos.
Can I lack self-control?
He immediately turned off the screen, reached out and pulled Pei Jingshu into his arms, holding her tightly.
"Sure."
Pei Jingshu leaned against his chest, paused for a moment, then suddenly pulled away from his embrace, a triumphant smile on her face.
She turned and ran to her suitcase, unzipped it, and pulled out a neatly folded set of pajamas.
I'm going to take a shower.
She carried her pajamas to the bathroom, her steps light and quick. She glanced back at him at the door, a slight smile playing on her lips, before slipping inside.
The bathroom door closed, and the sound of water began to run.
Cheng Che leaned against the headboard, listening to the sounds inside, feeling both nervous and amused.
What's there to be nervous about?
We'll sleep together in each other's arms tonight. She had her period a couple of days ago and couldn't do anything.
He himself found it funny, acting like a naive young boy who had never seen the world.
But come to think of it, he really seems to be quite naive.
The bathroom door opened, Pei Jingshu came out wearing a light blue nightgown, her hair wet and draped over her shoulders, holding a white towel in her hand as she dried her hair.
The neckline of her pajamas was a bit low, revealing her collarbone, and her skin had a faint pinkish hue from the steam in the bathroom.
Cheng Che glanced at her, then stood up, walked to the bedside table, and took out the hairdryer provided by the hotel.
"Come over."
Pei Jingshu walked over and sat down in front of him, with her back to him.
Cheng Che plugged in the hairdryer, turned it on, and blew hot air onto her hair.
Her hair was soft, and it fluttered gently in the hot wind before falling back down.
Pei Jingshu closed her eyes, placed her hands on her knees, and tilted her head slightly forward, like a cat being stroked.
Amidst the hum of the hairdryer, she occasionally let out a soft, comfortable nasal sound, and her shoulders relaxed.
Cheng Che ran his fingers through her hair and helped her pull out the hair inside to blow-dry it.
The movements were slow and gentle.
He occasionally brushed the stray hairs that had been blown by the wind behind her ear, his fingertips brushing against her earlobe. Pei Jingshu's eyelashes trembled, her eyes remained closed, but the corners of her mouth curved into a deeper smile.
I blow-dried my hair for about seven or eight minutes until it was dry.
Cheng Che put the hairdryer away, and Pei Jingshu turned around and jumped into his arms, wrapping her arms around his neck and her legs around his waist.
Cheng Che was knocked backward by her bump, then steadied himself, carried her to the bedside, and placed her on it.
He lay down as well, pulling the blanket up to cover both of them.
Pei Jingshu buried her face in his chest, snuggling into his arms like a little animal that had found its den.
The next day, Pei Jingshu woke up first.
She opened her eyes and saw Cheng Che's chin.
She didn't move, and from this angle, she could see his jawline, then his lips, nose, and eyelashes.
She stared at it for a while, then couldn't help but chuckle softly, a sound that was exceptionally clear in the quiet room.
After laughing, she secretly tilted her head up and kissed him lightly on the cheek, like a feather.
Cheng Che's eyelids twitched.
Pei Jingshu immediately pulled her face back, closed her eyes tightly, calmed her breathing, and pretended to be asleep.
Cheng Che opened his eyes, looked down at her tightly closed eyelids, and the corners of his mouth curved slightly.
He reached out and pinched her nose.
Pei Jingshu was still pretending; her eyelids didn't move, and her breathing remained steady.
"Your nose is so oily," Cheng Che said.
Pei Jingshu opened her eyes abruptly, reached out to touch her nose, touched it twice, and found it clean, with nothing there.
She realized what he meant and glared at him.
Cheng Che burst into laughter.
"Get up, get up." He sat up and patted her arm. "Your flight is this afternoon, aren't you going to take me out for some fun this morning?"
Upon hearing this, Pei Jingshu immediately sat up, her hair disheveled, but her eyes lit up.
After the two finished washing up, Pei Jingshu sat at the table to put on makeup. Cheng Che sat next to her, watched for a while, and then picked up an eyebrow pencil from the table.
"I'll draw it for you."
Pei Jingshu glanced at him in the mirror and smiled, "Can you?"
"You'll never learn if you don't try." Cheng Che twirled the eyebrow pencil. "I'm imitating Zhang Chang -drawing technique."
Pei Jingshu looked confused, but didn't stop him, and obediently moved her face closer.
Cheng Che's hand was steady. He lightly drew a few strokes on the tail of her eyebrow with the eyebrow pencil, making sure they were symmetrical and the shades were just right.
After finishing the drawing, he stepped back, glanced at it, and nodded.
Then he stood up and went to the restroom.
Taking advantage of the break, Pei Jingshu took out her phone and searched for " Zhang Chang's eyebrow drawing".
She stared at the search results for a few seconds, then a smile crept onto her face, she chuckled twice, and pressed her phone against her chest.
The story of Zhang Chang painting eyebrows refers to a husband painting his wife's eyebrows.
Wife. She is his wife.
Cheng Che came out of the restroom and patted her on the shoulder. She quickly put her phone away and pretended nothing had happened.
The two people left the hotel fully equipped.
In the morning, I took a stroll around Daegu, visited a park that Pei Jingshu used to frequent when she was a child, and then had lunch on Dongseong-ro.
Incheon Airport in the afternoon.
Pei Jingshu stood outside the security checkpoint, watching Cheng Che reluctantly hand over his passport and boarding pass to the staff.
He glanced back at her and nodded.
Pei Jingshu waved at him, her mouth moved slightly but she didn't make a sound, though her lip movements were very clear.
Let me know when you arrive.
Cheng Che smiled, turned around, and walked into the terminal.
Pei Jingshu stood there watching his figure disappear into the crowd before turning around and walking towards the parking lot.
Afternoon, Magic City.
After landing, Cheng Che opened the system panel, equipped [ Fade into the Bustle ], left the airport, and got into the car.
Qin Lie, sitting in the passenger seat, glanced back at him and then chuckled to himself.
After driving for a while, Cheng Che saw Qin Lie's lips curl up again in the rearview mirror.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
Qin Lie chuckled twice but didn't say anything. He drove for a while longer, then chuckled again.
Cheng Che was speechless. "What are you laughing at?"
Qin Lie turned around from the passenger seat, looked him up and down, and spoke with a subtle hint of teasing:
"It's nothing. I just think you look especially well since you came back."
Cheng Che: "... Don't look at me while you're driving."
If he did something, it's normal for Qin Lie to tease him.
But he didn't do anything.
Forget it, let him think that way.
Qin Lie smiled and turned back, finally becoming serious. He took out a folder from the side and handed it over:
"Okay, let's get down to business. The contracts with Porsche and Apple are all in there; go through them first. The signing is tomorrow morning, followed by an interview in the afternoon, and then Paris in the evening. For the LV haute couture show, we need to go for fittings a day in advance; time is tight."
