Several days passed in the blink of an eye.
The Europe episode of " Walking the Flower Road Together " was originally scheduled to air one episode per week, but the production team changed it to a continuous broadcast in order to capitalize on Cheng Che's remaining viewership.
The final two episodes aired in the same week, and the platform filled all the recommendation slots with promotional material that read, " Cheng Che's final installment in the Europe series."
Cheng Che Himself is currently in London, having reached the Wimbledon semifinals.
On the Xia Country internet, his name has been trending for a full week.
Wimbledon Cheng Che
#Cheng Che is fine even on the grass#
Cheng Che is just two steps away from a Grand Slam#
#Cheng Che's semi-final opponent#
#Three Grand Slam titles in Wimbledon semifinals#
The first five are all his.
The sixth is " Walking the Flower Road Together: Europe Episode Concludes Tonight," and the seventh is " Mango TV, Are You Ready?"
In the comments section, fans were calculating the costs of Wimbledon while also looking forward to the evening's variety show.
[He made it to the semifinals on grass! Now I believe him; he can play on any surface.]
Who will they face in the semifinals? Ruud or Sinner?
[ Ruud clay is great, but not necessarily on grass. Sinner grass is better.]
I trust Cheng Che to beat anyone; he's in such a stable state right now.
[Tonight is the last episode of "Walking the Flower Road Together, "Mango TV, please don't crash again!]
[You know what, you really think it's possible it might collapse.]
At 8 PM, the final episode of " Walking the Flower Road Together " in Europe was released.
The number of online viewers surpassed the peak of the previous episode even before the broadcast began.
The Mango TV technical team was glued to the backend data, with the technical director's hand hovering over the expansion button, muttering, "Stay calm, stay calm."
At 8:04, it crashed.
The hashtag Mango TV crashed again# suddenly appeared at number one on the trending topics list.
But the comments section this time was completely different from the last one.
[Another poorly executed episode? As expected. Anyway, this is Cheng Che's last episode, so whether it's bad or not, I'll only be watching this one.]
[You can fix the Mango TV all you want, but I'm not watching the next season.]
What's the point of this show without Cheng Che? Just watch Han Zheng make army stew?
[I admit the first few episodes were well-made, but Cheng Che left, so whoever wants to watch the rest can watch it.]
[ Mango TV, remember this: This is the last time you'll Cheng Che on social media because of Cheng Che.]
[Notify me when it's fixed, I'll uninstall it after watching the last episode]
[Don't bother with the next season; I won't watch it anyway.]
In the program's meeting room, a group of people stared at the comments on the screen, their faces growing increasingly grim.
Someone put their phone on the table:
"How can we play like this? They've made it clear: they won't watch anymore Cheng Che leaves."
Another staff member sighed, "What about attracting sponsors next season? After seeing these comments, who will dare to invest?"
All eyes turned to the producer who had been brought in from out of nowhere.
The producer felt a little guilty under his gaze, but still forced himself to speak, "I've found someone to replace Cheng Che. Lu Heng."
A moment of silence fell over the conference room.
Someone looked up. " Lu Heng? The second-ranked of the four top celebrities?"
"Yes." The producer puffed out his chest. "I pulled some strings to get him on board. His schedule was constantly being rearranged; it was a real struggle to get him to agree. With him on the team next season, the ratings are sure to be good."
The others exchanged bewildered glances.
Lu Heng is indeed a top-tier celebrity with high national recognition and excellent variety show skills.
If we can get him to come, it might actually salvage the situation.
The question is, whether Cheng Che's fans will accept Lu Heng's explanation is uncertain.
Seeing the reactions of the others, the producer breathed a sigh of relief, then sneered inwardly.
Without you, Cheng Che, am I not going to produce a show?
I used my connections to invite a real top star over. Then you, this fake top star, will be exposed for what you really are.
The Mango TV repair team fixed it quickly this time, restoring it to normal in just over ten minutes.
The final episode will continue airing.
The daytime scenes in Vienna were filmed quite easily.
The production team took a group of people to the Schönbrunn Palace, had them take photos with designated sculptures in the gardens, and then took a carriage ride around the palace.
Cheng Che sat in the carriage, sunlight filtering through the leaves and falling on his face. The comments section was flooded with "This scene could be used as wallpaper."
Then they went to an old café and each ordered a Vienna coffee and a slice of Sachertorte.
In the evening, the production team took everyone to the small ballroom in the Hofburg Imperial Palace.
A crystal chandelier, wooden floors, oil paintings hanging on the walls, and a grand piano in the corner.
"We've booked this entire place tonight," a member of the production team said with a smile, standing in the middle of the dance hall. "You'll be performing here, captivating the local audience we've invited. You'll have a few hours to prepare; solo performances or group performances are both welcome."
The screen was filled with comments saying "Interesting".
Su Jianqiu was the first to jump up, saying she wanted to perform a crosstalk routine.
Shen Chi said he would perform a mime act.
Han Zheng thought for a moment and said he wanted to sing.
Zhou Yuan said he would perform magic tricks, Shen Chi said he could play the piano.
Cheng Che sat down next to Yan Ruanning and tilted his head to ask, "Do you want to sing?"
The reactions in the live chat were exactly what he expected.
After all, Yan Ruanning is a singer; what else could she do in this kind of setting if not sing?
Yan Ruanning looked at him and smiled gently.
"No," she said, "I want to dance."
Then she stood up, took a step back, and extended her hand to Cheng Che.
The camera shot from below, showing Yan Ruanning slightly bent over, her fingers outstretched in front of Cheng Che, a faint smile on her face, and something bright in her eyes.
"Mr. Cheng," she said, "May I have the pleasure of dancing with you?"
The comments section paused for a moment.
Then it exploded.
Holy crap!!!
She asked him to dance!!!
[ Yan Ruanning, you're so good!!!]
This photo looks amazing from this angle!
[ Cheng Che, hurry up and say yes!!!]
[This is an amazing scene! I took a screenshot.]
[So she doesn't sing, she dances, and she even drags Cheng Che along to dance.]
[I declare this to be the sweetest scene of the entire season of Walking the Flower Road Together ]
[Good job, Mango TV! Show me this after you've done it, and I forgive you.]
[Who could resist Yan Ruanning's smile and her outstretched hand?]
[ Cheng Che, put your hand out!!!]
