The energy ball in the Destroyer's palm grew larger and larger, its blue light illuminating the entire ruins in a bluish hue. Ye Mo regretted it the moment he rushed out—his right arm's Steel Bone had cracked all the way to his shoulder, and his Regeneration ability was still counting down; now he really had to rely on his flesh and blood to take the hit.

He didn't back down.

He stepped into the crack in the ground with his left foot, activating the basic version of his Wall Phasing Technique. His body slid three meters to the side, just avoiding the first beam of light. A wave of heat swept past his ears, and the hair on the back of his neck was singed.

"System notification -- True power is never in the heavens!" he roared, his voice hoarse and inhuman.

As soon as he said that, he wanted to laugh. There was no system prompt at all; it was all made up on the spot. But Thor suddenly looked up, his eyes bloodshot, as if he had been whipped.

Emma Frost leaned against the overturned car, blood seeping from her nostrils. She stopped staring at the Destroyer, closed her eyes, and compressed her mental energy into a needle, gently piercing Thor's consciousness.

The scene unfolds: Odin stands at the end of the Bifrost, Mjolnir hovering in mid-air. The old man's voice is deep. "Only the truly humble are worthy to wield thunder."

As the memory flashed by, she inserted another scene: Jane Foster crouching beside a wounded man, covering the old man with her coat. The man's leg was broken, and her hands were trembling violently, but she didn't flinch at all.

"Those you once protected have not abandoned you because you lost your divine power," Emma Frost thought to herself.

Thor's body swayed slightly.

He looked down at his blood-stained hands, then looked up at the sky. Dark clouds had gathered, thick and oppressive, with lightning flashing through them but never striking.

The Destroyer's cannon was already 90% charged, the energy fluctuations causing the ground to shatter. It locked onto Thor, and its mechanical arm slowly rose.

Ye Mo braced Thor's back with his left shoulder, pushing him forward half a step. "Don't dodge—catch it!"

Before she could finish speaking, Emma Frost suddenly opened her eyes, her mental energy exploding, not rushing towards the enemy, but soaring straight into the sky. With her willpower, she tore through the clouds, forcefully carving a path directly above Thor's head.

Click!

A thick bolt of lightning descended from the sky and struck Thor squarely on the head.

He arched his back, his muscles twitching violently, his veins bulging beneath his skin, flashing with blue-white electricity. His feet were firmly planted on the ground, his palms pressed into the soil, and electric snakes shot out from between his fingers.

The Destroyer's energy cannon fired.

Ye Mo blocked with his arm.

Boom!

His right arm exploded on the spot, spraying blood mist mixed with metal fragments. He was thrown into the air, crashing into the broken wall, his knees buckling as he landed, and he knelt down.

But he smiled.

It's done.

Thor was still standing.

Lightning crackled around his entire body, his hair stood on end, and his eyes shone with a frightening intensity. He gasped for breath, looking down at his hands, where arcs of electricity danced at his fingertips.

"I..." His throat bobbed, "I am not fighting for the throne."

The sound wasn't loud, yet it pierced through the wind and thunder.

"I'm fighting for them!"

As the last word fell, a second bolt of lightning struck, hitting him squarely in the chest.

He tilted his head back to bear the weight, his back taut like a bow. The Asgard insignia, faintly visible beneath his tattered clothes, seemed to come alive, glowing with each heartbeat.

From behind a crack in the wall in the distance, the boy who had been peeking suddenly stood up straight.

"It's glowing," the boy murmured.

The old man next to him wiped his face. "It's not glowing... it's thunder coming back."

The Destroyer sounded an alarm, its core flashing blue light. Just as it turned its cannon, Thor suddenly looked up.

Their eyes met.

The machine's logic program experienced a brief pause.

Thor raised his hand, not to grab the hammer—he knew the thing didn't recognize him. He simply spread his fingers, pointing towards the sky.

The third bolt of Thunderfall.

This time, he took the initiative to go to them.

Lightning engulfed his entire body, his bones crackled slightly, and his muscle fibers reorganized and expanded. His aura surged, and the ground cracked open around him.

Emma Frost collapsed to the ground, her mental energy completely depleted. She looked at Thor, her lips twitching, but she remained silent.

Ye Mo knelt on one knee, using his left hand to grip the cracks in the brickwork as he slowly climbed up. His right arm was only half intact, bleeding profusely, but his eyes shone with an alarming light.

"Well, you've finally decided to wake up..." he grinned.

Thor didn't turn around.

He slowly turned to face the Destroyer, his hands hanging at his sides, crackling with electricity.

The machine took a half step back.

This was the first time it had made a defensive move.

Thor takes a step.

The first step is that the ground cracks.

The second step: thunder rumbles in the sky.

Thirdly, he rushed out.

No weapons, no armor, only lightning crackling around him.

The Destroyer unleashed a short-range Shockwave, its punches tearing through the air.

Thor doesn't flash.

A punch exchanged.

A burst of lightning erupted, and the shockwave ripped away the surrounding ruins. The outer armor of the Destroyer's mechanical arm shattered, and black smoke billowed from its joints.

Thor was also knocked back two steps, his feet carving two deep grooves in the ground. He shook his hand, and the electric arcs coiled around his knuckles again.

"Again."

The Destroyer raised its arms, preparing to unleash its long-accumulated berserk mode. The blue light in its chest core flickered wildly, and the temperature rose sharply.

Ye Mo gritted his teeth and dragged his mangled body to the side. He touched half a steel bar, grabbed it with his left hand, and used it to support himself against the wall as he slowly stood up.

Emma Frost closed her eyes, her lips moving silently, as if conveying some message.

Thor stood still, looking up at the sky.

The clouds swirled, forming a massive vortex. At its center, a bolt of purplish-black lightning slowly condensed, thicker than any of the previous ones.

He knew that this attack would not only level him, but the entire battlefield.

He cannot hide.

We can't let that happen.

He raised his hands, palms up.

"Bring it on."

Lei Yun responded.

The purplish-black lightning tore through the sky and plunged straight down.

Thor opened his arms to welcome him.

The instant the current surged through his body, he let out a long roar, the sound wave shattering all the surrounding glass shards.

In the flash of lightning, his figure grew taller and taller. His muscles swelled, his aura surged, and ancient runes appeared on his skin, pulsating with the lightning veins.

The Destroyer's core finally succumbed to the pressure and emitted a piercing alarm.

Its attack was interrupted, the energy from the cannon muzzle went out of control and recoiled, and the blue light on its chest went from bright to dim, and when it lit up again, it was unstable.

Thor slowly lowered his hand.

The lightning around him hadn't dissipated; instead, it had become even more concentrated. He looked down at his palm, where arcs of electricity snaked across it.

He hasn't fully recovered his strength yet.

But he was no longer an ordinary person.

He turned and looked at the Destroyer, his eyes no longer showing any hesitation.

"It's over."

The Destroyer's mechanical arm trembled, and the cannon recharged, but the speed was a beat slower.

Thor moved.

He didn't run; instead, he pushed off with his feet and shot out like a cannonball. Lightning trailed behind him like a tail.

The fist, crackling with electricity, slammed into the Destroyer's facial sensors.

Boom!

The metal skull dented, and the blue light went out for a moment.

Thor didn't stop, unleashing a barrage of punches, each accompanied by a thunderous storm, forcing the machine to retreat step by step.

With his final punch, he leaped up and thrust his knee into the core.

The Destroyer crossed his arms to block.

Click!

The drive shaft broke, and the arm dangled.

Thor landed and swung his elbow at the vent in his waist.

The circuit board exploded, spewing out black smoke.

The Destroyer finally couldn't hold on any longer and knelt on one knee. The blue light in its core flickered, like an electrocardiogram of someone about to stop breathing.

Thor stood upright, surrounded by lightning, his gaze sharp as a knife.

He raised his hand, aiming it at the Destroyer's head.

Lightning gathered in his palm.

In its final struggle, the Destroyer raised its still-functioning left arm and aimed its cannon at Thor.

Thor sneered.

You shouldn't have chosen me as your target.

The lightning ball in his palm suddenly expanded.

The Destroyer's cannon muzzle also lit up with a red light.

Two energies are about to collide.

Ye Mo suddenly shouted, "Leave them alive!"

Thor paused.

The lightning ball shrank, but didn't dissipate.

He then used lightning to pierce the Destroyer's shoulder joints, pinning it to the ground.

The machine was completely paralyzed, its core blue light flickering faintly, as if begging for mercy.

Thor withdrew his hand, but the lightning lingered, still coursing across his body.

He turned around and walked towards Ye Mo.

Each step left charred footprints on the ground.

He walked up to Ye Mo, squatted down, and placed his hand on Ye Mo's shoulder.

A warm current flowed through the point of contact, stopping the bleeding in the right arm.

"You're always like this," Thor whispered, "Pretending to be fine even when you're about to die."

Ye Mo grinned, "System notification -- A hero can't die too miserably."

Thor shook his head, stood up, and looked at Emma Frost again.

She leaned against the car, her face pale, but nodded to him.

He looked up at the sky.

The thunderclouds began to dissipate.

But he knew Ray was still there.

He can summon them at any time, if he so desires.

He looked down at the Destroyer's mangled remains.

Who sent you?

The machine fell silent.

Thor crouched down and placed his fingers on the interface on its head.

Current is introduced to forcibly read data.

A second later, he frowned.

"Loki?"

Ye Mo raised his head with difficulty, "I guessed it long ago."

Emma Frost said softly, "It's just a pawn."

Thor stood up, the lightning still lingering.

He gazed towards the distant valley.

There, Mjolnir lay silently in the pit, its runes shimmering faintly.

He knew it wasn't over yet.

But now, he is entitled to take back what is rightfully his.

He turned around and reached out his hand to Ye Mo.

Can you stand up?

Ye Mo stared at the hand for two seconds.

Then I grabbed it.

System notification: Don't let go, I'm afraid of heights.
