And then, the good news!
This book should be nearing its end this month, but considering I'll probably take a few days off, it should be finished by August at the latest.
Overall, it's pretty much as expected. After the main storyline ends in August, writing some side stories should complete a full year. Writing this book has definitely been the most dedicated I've ever worked in my life.
Whether it was the college entrance exam, working on a construction site, or working at a company, nothing had been as tiring and demanding as this past year. Every day, I would wake up and sit in front of the computer, starting to brainstorm, write, research, and find materials.
The longest I've ever sat in front of the computer with a friend was sixteen hours. From discussion to finishing the writing and revisions, we rewrote one chapter two or three times, just to make it more interesting. I usually sit for more than ten hours at a time, but towards the end I just couldn't take it anymore and had to ask for leave like crazy. Anyway, I think I did my best.
Both physical and mental stress are at their peak.
My physical and emotional state is getting worse and worse. Although I write abstract and funny plots for everyone, my own mood has actually been quite bad. I've been cooped up in the house for too long, and I feel like I'm about to become depressed.
After I finish writing this, I'll probably go for a walk to clear my head, then find a new job, endure the hardships of working a regular job, and socialize with more people.
Anyway, it's finally almost finished. The ending was decided before I even started writing the book, and in fact, I wrote it because of this ending idea. So, updates in July will probably be a bit slower. I'll try my best to write a satisfactory ending.
The monthly pass giveaway will continue, as usual. Shion's complete character design will definitely be released this month. Shino is late with her draft again, and there's nothing I can do about it.
