With a sigh, a jet-black mountain dog appeared on the River of Forgetfulness.

Behind the black mountain dog, Ye Ming, who had already assumed the role of "White Impermanence," remained indifferent.

Because this black mountain dog was none other than the incarnation of the Heaven-Eroding Lord.

Since Wu Yao decided to reside permanently in the Yin World to protect the Six Paths of Reincarnation, the incarnation of the Heaven-Eroding Lord has frequently traveled between the realms of Yin and Yang.

It's not surprising that the Heaven-Eroding Lord came to the River of Forgetfulness.

The only one who found it troublesome was Ye Ming. As the "White Impermanence" personally appointed by the Great Emperor of Fengdu, her duty was to maintain order on this Yellow Springs Road.

"If it weren't for you, I should be on vacation in the mortal realm right now."

Ye Ming gave Heaven-Eroding Lord a cold glance, no matter how good-tempered he was.

There weren't so many ghosts in the Netherworld in the past.

Therefore, the duties of Yin Deity like Ox-Head and Horse-Face are often to go to the Yang World to capture evil spirits and Ghost God, making them powerful law enforcers and combat professions.

The Black and White Impermanence, newly created by the Great Emperor of Fengdu, are more inclined towards non-combat professions such as clerical work.

Their duty is often to guide ghosts to understand the order of Fengdu and to maintain the operation of the Netherworld.

To be honest, let the Year God under the command of the Yin Son of Heaven Emperor take on the role of Impermanence.

Unfortunately, this was Ye Ming's personal wish.

Under her strong insistence, both the Netherworld Lord and the Great Emperor of Fengdu ultimately decided to respect her choice.

This also shows that although Ye Ming has forgotten his past, he still retains some of his personality traits from when he was the Witch King.

He was the only one of the nine Witch King Witch King in a time of peace and dedicated himself to the pursuit of a coexistence between humans and gods.
