The struggle for the Heavenly Emperor's throne, Amitabha Buddha

The Six Desire Heavens, the Yama Heaven.

This is the Third Heaven, above the Heaven of the Four Heavenly Kings and the Renli Heaven.

The vast Buddhist landscape is a distinctive feature here, and the ubiquitous Buddhist light and chanting symbolize the power of the Buddha.

Behind every ray of Buddha's light and every utterance of Sanskrit chant lies the realm of a Buddha, the abode of countless Bodhisattva, Arhats, Bhikkhus, and Devas. Because they are all embodiments of mindfulness, the Eight Legions almost always avoid this Yama Heaven.

In the present-day Six Desire Heavens, the only one of the Eight Legions capable of contending with these Buddha is Śakra Indra, the leader of the Devas who unified the Eight Legions.

Unfortunately, although Śakra unified the Eight Legions and became the recognized ruler of the Renli Heaven, he did not achieve his goal.

However, his position was not secure, and there were often people who would challenge it.

Among them, Asura are the most frequent.

Every time, it stirs up trouble, leaving Trayastrimsa Heaven with no peace and quiet.

Especially after the Asura Clan of the Netherworld Realm began to attempt to make contact with the Six Desire Heavens, everyone knew that the mastermind behind the Asura Clan was an Dao Proving One.

Taking advantage of the reincarnation of the Netherworld Lord, Chi attained the [Asura Path] and became one of the Six Paths of Reincarnation.

From this point onward, all living beings may be reborn as members of the Asura race.

Until that Dao Proving One perished, the [Asura Path] was kicked out of the Six Paths of Reincarnation again.

After all, it was the "Heavenly Emperor's position" personally promised by the Dao Ancestor, and everyone in the know understood the significance of this promise.

It is no exaggeration to say that whoever manages to seize the "Heavenly Emperor's Throne" from Śakra is essentially one foot in the door of Dao Proving One.

In fact, no one can resist this temptation.

Therefore, besides the Asura, even the demon kings of the Eight Legions, and even the Buddha, would secretly sabotage Śakra.

Especially after Miaoshan returned to the mortal world as "Guanshiyin Bodhisattva", the Buddha, seeing hope, began to take various actions.

This included attempts to seize the "position of the Heavenly Emperor" from Śakra.

This is perhaps the inevitable fate of all beings who bear the title of "Heavenly Emperor".

Wu Jun struggles within the cycles of history, becoming the ultimate boss that countless Dao Proving One inevitably face when retracing the past and rewriting origins. Meanwhile, Śakra stands tall in the Six Desire Heavens, becoming a coveted prize that no ambitious individual would overlook when vying for power and authority. "So, who's stirring up trouble this time?"

Standing atop Mount Sumeru, Śakra looked up at the boundless Buddha light in the sky and asked a question.

Within that boundless Buddha light, a spatial rift as clear as a mirror was clearly visible.

It was a spatial rift leading to a certain Buddhist kingdom.

The reflection of the Buddhist kingdom can be faintly seen in the water.

That is the Amitabha Buddha's Pure Land.

Just then, Lu Ya appeared silently behind Śakra.

He, who was once Golden-Winged Great Peng, had now completely folded his wings, appearing just like an ordinary person. "Amitabha Buddha?"

With a slight frown, Śakra quickly recalled everything about Amitabha Buddha.

"Is that the Buddha who went to the Netherworld to be reincarnated?"

Due to the enormous difference in the flow of time in the Six Desire Heavens.
