The second stage is the period before the Buddha Ancestor's Nirvana. Because the Buddha Ancestor spread the Dharma widely and saved all sentient beings, many beings also embarked on the path to Buddhahood.

Maudgalyayana, Ananda, Mahākāśyapa were among the most outstanding, and they were Buddhas in this world.

However, with the Buddha Ancestor's Nirvana, differences arose regarding the concepts of Buddhism, and various different understandings and transmissions of Buddhism led to a complex dispute over the lineage of doctrines.

After all, once the founder dies, the struggle for lineage is inevitable.

In this respect, the Dao Ancestor is a perfect example; who dared to challenge orthodoxy during his time of manifestation?

Thus, this chaos continued for 5.67 billion years after the Buddha Ancestor's Nirvana, when a being who once again expounded all the Dharma was born—the future Buddha, Maitreya World-Honored One, who was born in Tushita Heaven.

Why did you appear in this era!?

Maitreya Buddha is a sage destined to be born in the future of the Three Realms. He is the fifth Buddha of the Bhadrakalpa, who will finally end the struggle for lineage 5.67 billion years after the Buddha Ancestor's Nirvana.

Therefore, no matter how you look at it, the other party shouldn't be appearing in this era before even Buddha Ancestor was born.

What's more, it appeared in this way?

Maintaining his amiable smile, Maitreya Buddha chuckled after a brief moment of surprise.

"You've come here to find the Primordial Spirit of that Pure Yang Dao Ancestor, haven't you?"
