The sun-bathing goddess and the Divine Fusang Wood
My identity... has been exposed?
The Little Golden Crow did not infiltrate this Purple Firmament Palace under the identity of "Great Unity".
Or to be more precise, the true Great Unity never appeared in this Purple Firmament Palace, seemingly intentionally keeping his distance from the Dao Ancestor.
However, as its incarnation before attaining enlightenment, the Little Golden Crow was brought to this Heaven Beyond Heaven by Xihe in a semi-forced manner.
Over time, the Little Golden Crow adapted to its new identity.
Since no one knew he was Great Unity, and the Dao Ancestor's teachings did indeed make some sense, Chi stayed without any qualms. However, deep down, the Little Golden Crow remained wary of others discovering his identity.
While Xihe was exchanging ideas and discussing the Dao with the Dao Proving One in the pool, the Little Golden Crow remained hidden in the Sun Palace, never stepping out of the Sun Star. This had nothing to do with its own strength; it was simply due to Great Unity's personality.
Proud and arrogant as Great Unity, Chi Ke did not want to become a "disciple of the Dao Ancestor" in the eyes of the world—even if that was indeed the case.
So when the group of Dao Proving One looked at them with strange eyes, Little Golden Crow's first reaction was that his identity had been exposed. But then, Little Golden Crow realized that they weren't looking at him, but at Xihe.
"You..."
Instinctively turning its head, the Little Golden Crow was shocked to find that Xihe's figure was disappearing.
No, not just Xihe...
The Sun Palace in the Heaven Beyond Heaven, and even the Sun Star, are disappearing at a rate visible to the naked eye.
This situation is highly abnormal, extremely abnormal.
Even the Dao Ancestor cast a surprised glance at Xihe, not to mention the other Dao Proving One beside her.
"It's the power of time..."
"It's a spacetime paradox! A spacetime paradox has appeared in that sun goddess!"
"She was erased from the very source; someone forcibly rewrote her origins, turning her into a non-existent god."
"How is this possible? This is the Heaven Beyond Heaven! A place where cause and effect are separated!"
Amidst gasps of surprise, the crowd quickly confirmed Xihe's condition.
Before attaining Dao Proving, those Dao Proving One often worry that their origins will be rewritten, creating a spacetime paradox that could lead to their complete disappearance from the Long River of Time. Especially in the future, with its countless possibilities, only by becoming Dao Proving One can one temporarily escape this predicament.
However, the problem now is that Xihe is not a future Dao Proving One; she is the first Great Heavenly Deity of the Three Realms.
Ancient, ancient, and powerful...
Great Heavenly Deity who simultaneously embodies the dual identities of "Ancient One" and "Dao Proving One" is theoretically the most difficult being to have their origins rewritten. Furthermore, given that she resides in this Heaven Beyond Heaven, it is truly difficult for the Dao Proving One to comprehend why such a situation has arisen within her.
"Tsk tsk tsk... It seems I've been caught in your crossfire again?"
Just as everyone was confused, surprised, or bewildered, Xihe, who was disappearing, turned her head and glanced at the Little Golden Crow on her shoulder and sighed. Instantly awakened by Xihe, the Little Golden Crow suddenly widened its eyes as if it had realized something.
"Li Boyang! How dare you!"
Spanning the endless Long River of Time, we return to the ancient era when Savage Wilderness Ancient God roamed.
This was an era unique to the Savage Wilderness, Ancient God, and most of the deities born in this era were like wild beasts.
Yet, among this group of Savage Wilderness Ancient God, who were like wild beasts, there was an extremely different goddess who realized her own difference early on. Compared to her kind who habitually used violence, this goddess preferred to solve problems with her wisdom.
So, when this goddess came down from the distant stars to this land...
Looking at her fellow humans, who possessed intelligence yet were more savage than wild beasts, she couldn't hide the disappointment in her eyes.
In that distant starry sky, this goddess was the only one. She traversed countless planets but found no one of her kind, not even a single living creature.
Having finally arrived on this land, the other humans I see are worse off than if they had never existed.
After all, goddesses are just lonely, not battle maniacs.
Rather than fighting every Ancient God she encountered, she preferred to try to have a peaceful and friendly exchange with them.
Unfortunately, the more the goddess tried to communicate, the more battles she encountered.
By the time the goddess came to her senses, her illustrious name had already been etched across the entire land.
The first reaction of those ancient, Savage Wilderness Ancient God upon seeing her was no longer to fight, but to turn and flee without looking back.
Although those Ancient God behaved like wild beasts, they were ultimately intelligent, higher life forms.
When encountering someone like a goddess who has no murderous intent whatsoever, yet whom you can't defeat no matter what you do, choosing to stay away is the normal course of action for any creature. The journey has been one of solitude.
The goddess eventually grew tired and chose to stop on a small island in the East Sea.
Then, on this small island, the goddess met her sister Changxi, with whom she would have a lifelong entanglement.
Xihe is the embodiment of the sun, Changxi is a goddess from the Taiyin.
These two goddesses, who should have been at odds, surprisingly got along well upon their first meeting.
At that time, Xihe was bathing in a hot spring on the island. The afterglow of the setting sun mingled with the warm water, faintly forming the illusion of a great sun. Changxi came for this reason, just to remind her that life had already been conceived here.
If Xihe does not limit the influence of her divine Divine Power, she will ultimately destroy this rare miracle of life.
In that era when Savage Wilderness Ancient God roamed freely, even disregarding all environmental factors, the weak had no right to survive. Any place capable of giving birth to life was an undeniable miracle.
That was the first time Xihe had encountered someone she could truly communicate with.
Therefore, even though the other party was the Taiyin Goddess, who was both compatible and incompatible with her, she changed her image of cruelty in the eyes of the Ancient God.
Xihe patiently withdrew her divine Divine Power and then followed the other to the land that nurtured life— Tang Valley. To be honest, it was actually just an inconspicuous black swamp on the edge of a small island.
But in that dark swamp, a sapling no bigger than a thumb was struggling to grow, a stark contrast to the harsh environment around it.
In later generations, that small sapling had another famous name—the Divine Fusang Tree.
Bathed in the radiance of the sun and moon goddesses, the Divine Fusang Tree received unprecedented nourishment and sustenance, even developing supernatural abilities despite its mortal body. In that era, there were no cultivation methods, nor did anyone study the essence of Yuan Qi.
Divine Power is the power that gods are born with; all living beings are so weak because they lack the blessing of Divine Power.
It is easy to imagine how immense the fortuitous opportunity and potential of that Divine Fusang Tree were.
The day grows an inch longer, the night grows a foot longer...
The sapling quickly grew into a towering tree that could cover the entire island, becoming a truly magnificent spectacle of a single tree forming a forest. (Monthly vote/Female C recommendation vote/Heartbreak)
