  • Huoji emerged from the flood, confirmed that Yan Xiaojun had refused to surrender, and let water demons groom his fur and scales.

Ch. 204A Hundred Thousand Water Troops Force a Crossing of the Natural Barrier (1/3)

Huoji concluded that the Life Primordial Qi Regulation Breathing Method let beings use power within their bodies, even when the God-Binding Cord sealed their external Divine Power. After learning from Yan Xiaojun and Li Jingshu’s abilities, he ordered a hundred thousand water troops to force a crossing of the Thread of Sky, prepared to sacrifice human captives to do it.

  • The Lord of the Ya Waters told Huoji that Yan Xiaojun had returned to Ghost God Cliff and could breathe fire despite his sealed Earthflame Divine Ability.
  • Huoji identified Yan Xiaojun’s power as the Life Primordial Qi Regulation Breathing Method and demonstrated how life primordial Qi flowed from his own body.
  • Huoji reasoned that the God-Binding Cord sealed only external Divine Power, and that Li Jingshu’s shield was likely a Divine Ability derived from life primordial Qi.
  • Huoji ordered the water troops to force a crossing of the Thread of Sky and commanded the Lord of the Ya Waters to use the Guifang captives to fill its level, even at the cost of their lives.

Ch. 206Sun God · Bird of Spring (3/3)

Li Boyang, Xiluo, and Kingfisher traveled to the heart of the Hundred Lands Mountain Range, where Li Boyang discovered that the forested plain was actually the immense body of the Undying Spring God. Kingfisher warned that delaying the flood would make its eventual force far worse, while Li Boyang explained that he had pressured the gods to help confront the disaster.

  • Kingfisher told Li Boyang that the flood was a backlash against the gods of Great Xia and that holding back the water would make the disaster more powerful when Huoji bored through the mountains.
  • Li Boyang admitted he had deliberately intensified the crisis to force the gods to take responsibility, and Kingfisher acknowledged his suspicions about her motives and the Undying Spring God’s strength.
  • Li Boyang, Xiluo, and Kingfisher arrived at the center of the Hundred Lands Mountain Range and found a vast flowering forest that Li Boyang’s third Heavenly Eye revealed was one enormous tree.

  • Li Boyang's Shadow Baleful Intent Dharma Aspects appeared and fought off the shadow monsters as he advanced toward their source.

  • Lord of the Ya Waters realized Li Boyang had released the Heaven-Eroding Lord, and Huoji began a sacrificial ritual to destroy Thread of Sky and enter the Hundred Lands Mountain Range.
  • Wuzhiqi recognized that Li Boyang’s Taiji Diagram was drawing out his benevolent thoughts, crushed them, and challenged Li Boyang to use a stronger move.
  • Mountain Hollow Village’s residents decided to move closer to Li Household Village after harvesting buckwheat and ruining their farmland.
  • Lu Suiniang’s baby girl opened her third eye in terror, then smiled and reached for the Shadow Baleful Intent Dharma Aspect that emerged from Lu Suiniang’s shadow.
