Tetsuya and Norman both found the situation somewhat troublesome.
Even with their formidable strength, having each partner deal with multiple Illusion Pokemon at once was no problem.
But once the number of opponents facing each individual rose into the double digits,
it was no longer a matter of whether they could handle them.
It was a matter of whether they could survive.
"After all these years, I don't believe we're the only two who entered this tower.
The others who came in have probably already lost their lives."
Norman looked around, his voice slightly grim.
They might have made dealing with the Illusion Pokemon on the first and second floors look easy,
but if it were any other Trainers,
unless they were members of the Elite Four or even stronger regional Champions, they could not have done any better than the two of them.
And that was with Tetsuya's Pokemon effectively covering the work of two people.
If an ordinary Elite Four Level Trainer entered the second floor, there would be absolutely no hope of survival.
Tetsuya remained silent, his mind racing as he tried to find a solution.
But without knowing how many Illusion Pokemon would appear on the next floor, or their average strength,
there seemed to be only two choices.
They could wait on the second floor and see whether some kind of turning point appeared.
Or they could rush up to the third floor and take a gamble. There might not necessarily be so many Elite Four Level Illusion Pokemon waiting for them.
Obviously, neither was a good option.
"Let's rest up first. While we're at it, let's see whether there are any mechanisms on this second floor."
Tetsuya turned his gaze toward the stone pillars.
Norman understood what he meant and silently nodded.
Very soon,
