Volume One is finished. After thinking about it, I think I should write a summary chapter.

Volume One is about the turmoil of the Capital Evaluation!

The themes are political struggles and a series of cases, as well as the character development and foreshadowing.

I think the Sangbo case was written quite well. It had the necessary plot, the characters who were supposed to appear, and the foreshadowing that needed to be done.

As for the Yunzhou case, it wasn't refined enough overall. The high-intensity update schedule left me no time to delve into the details of the case or lay the groundwork for future developments. To put it simply, slow and steady wins the race. High-intensity updates inevitably mean sacrificing some "refinement."

I think online novels can be a bit rough around the edges. After all, it's impossible for them to write for three years, revise for three years, and then revise again for another three years like traditional authors.

Hahaha.

Even so, I think I wrote the foreshadowing, setup, and plot twists of the Yunzhou case quite well. In this era of high-intensity updates for online novels, this level should be considered decent (just being modest).

Then, these last few chapters are the finishing touch, adding color to the case and reversing its downward trend. Subscriptions have increased well these past few days, and monthly votes have also risen significantly. Thank you everyone.

Volume Two, Unparalleled Hero.

Unlike Volume One, where the cases are central.

The first half of the second volume will focus on daily life, trivial events, and the character portrayals of the supporting and main characters. Well, Xu Baipiao won't need to be portrayed.

Of course, to add tension and richness to the plot, there will still be cases, but they won't take up much space.

No spoilers for the second half of the book.

If the first volume is the foundation of this book, then the second volume is a turning point. The plot twists and turns of this volume, as well as its importance, far surpass those of the first volume.

Stay tuned.

Oh, about the update issue. Although I've only been updating once a day for the past few days, these are damn long, with more words than before.

If you think 3,000 words per chapter and two chapters a day is appropriate, please leave a comment here.

P. S.: There's no update for today. I actually wrote over two thousand words, but it was too short to post. I'm thinking of saving it for tomorrow to make a longer chapter and post it together.
