I am very honored that "The Great Feng Nightwatchers" has become the first digital collectible of an online novel IP in China. This is an affirmation of me and this work. The collectible is limited to 2,000 copies and includes not only the epilogue and finale (emphasis added), but also my handwritten autographed message. Those interested are welcome to participate in the pre-sale!

You can participate in the event through the "Yuewen Digital Collection Mall" on the Qidian Reading APP during the pre-sale period from 12:00 on January 5th to 11:45 on January 8th.

Of course, I haven't been idle with the new book either. Tonight at 8:15 PM, I will be live streaming on WeChat video accounts @QidianChinese. com and @YuewenMaibaoXiaolangjun to talk about the creation process of "Great Feng" and some other things related to the new book. Brothers and sisters who are interested can make an appointment in advance on the video account!

The above is the public relations copy. Now let me say something. It's been five months since I finished the book. During my break, besides adjusting my schedule and occasionally going to the gym, I've also been thinking about a new book.

I spent about two months working on the outline, setting, and characters, but I still hadn't finished or completed them. Then one day, I suddenly realized that the more I prepared in advance, the more likely I was to tie my own hands.

I remember Potato once said that the more you think, the easier it is to cover up (I think that's what he said).

Now I truly understand what that means.

So about a week ago, I started trying to write the beginning, only to find that I hadn't written a book in so long and was out of practice.

It's an inevitable phenomenon. Typing is a craft, and with any craft, if you don't practice for a long time, your skill level will inevitably decline. I understand this principle, but I still feel a little frustrated.

However, it's not a big problem, since I took a six-month break after finishing my previous books.

Next, I will spend about a month doing recovery training to regain my touch until I return to peak condition before starting a new book.

Regarding the new book, although I prepared a very detailed outline and setting, the beginning wasn't ideal. I wasn't satisfied with the first version, so I carefully revised it. However, after submitting the second version to the editor, the editor wasn't entirely satisfied either.

The third version was shown to other authors, and opinions were divided, creating a kind of democratic and free-style deadlock.

This reminds me of when I first wrote the opening for Nightwatchers," and it was a similar experience. I revised and changed the opening five or six times.

Although I was mentally devastated, it actually helped me rediscover the feeling I had back then. Writing a book is such a headache-inducing thing; if it's too easy or smooth, it's unreasonable, because it means you'll be in trouble.

I will try my best to get the beginning of the new book sorted out.

Oh, by the way, digital products are like Great Feng merchandise, you know. Interested readers can bookmark one, and those who aren't can come chat in the live stream. It's all up to personal preference, so don't feel pressured.
