Cloud Creek City
When the old man led Fang Zelin to a family's house.
Just then, the host family members came out of the house carrying bowls.
Fang Zelin looked closely and saw that the other person's bowl did not contain white rice, but rather rice that looked somewhat dark, mixed with rice that resembled tree leaves.
"Child, guests have come to the village. Do you have a spare room in your house for the night?"
The old man looked at the host family and spoke.
Upon hearing this, the host paused for a moment, glanced at Fang Zelin's clothes, then at the food in his hand, and instinctively shrank back.
"My house is in a side room; it's rather dilapidated."
The man said with some difficulty.
Seeing that Fang Zelin was dressed so well, he figured he probably wouldn't be used to living in his house.
"A place to stay is fine with me; I don't mind."
Upon hearing this, Fang Zelin quickly chimed in with a comment.
Upon hearing this, the host hesitated slightly, seeing that Fang Zelin seemed genuinely unconcerned, before slowly nodding.
"In that case, I'll ask the doll to clean it up."
"Alright, then I'll leave our honored guest to you."
Upon hearing this, the old man smiled broadly before slowly walking away.
The Great Han looked embarrassed. "Have you eaten?"
The Great Han glanced at Fang Zelin's clothes, then at the food in his hand.
I just couldn't come up with a suggestion to have something to eat with the other person.
"I still have some dry food, so don't worry about me. But what's that in your hand? I've never seen it before."
"This is bean and soybean rice. 'Soybean' is a type of bean. You probably only eat plain white rice, so you've never seen this before."
The Great Han was much more composed at this point. He offered a brief explanation, then called his child over and asked him to clean the room.
Fang Zelin nodded upon hearing this, and the more he looked at the leaves in the other person's bowl, the more he felt they were tree leaves.
While the two were talking, the other children in the village were all called home for dinner.
However, when it was time to eat, they would always bring their bowls and run to the door to eat.
They ate while chatting about interesting things with their companions.
It seems that as long as they have something to eat, they don't care what it is, as long as it fills their stomachs.
Upon seeing this scene, Fang Zelin couldn't help but sit down on a rock and watch what was happening before him.
The scene before him reminded him of his childhood.
He remembered that when he was a child, he also liked to sit with other people to eat.
"Young Master, your room has been cleaned!"
Just as Fang Zelin was staring blankly at the scene before him, the doll in the house came up to him, said something, and then ran towards its friend with the bowl in its hand.
Fang Zelin was secretly pleased to see this.
He took off a backpack from his back, took out the dry food inside, and slowly started eating it.
I also grabbed the water pouch and asked for a drink of water.
Then he slowly ate his dry rations and drank water.
The dry rations weren't actually very tasty, but when Fang Zelin ate them, the children nearby watched with longing eyes.
Seeing this, Fang Zelin smiled, then waved to the children and broke the pancake in his hand into pieces, distributing them to several of them.
To Fang Zelin, these flatbreads were just something to fill his stomach, but to these children, they were a rare treat and incredibly delicious.
After eating a little bit of the biscuit, one of the children looked at Fang Zelin longingly, "Sir, can I take some back for my mother to try?"
Fang Zelin was taken aback upon hearing this, and glanced at the pancake in the other person's hand; there was only a small piece.
He immediately took out the remaining few pieces of bread from his bag, divided them equally among the children, and handed them to them, saying, "Take these, and let your mothers at home try some too."
The children cheered and immediately took off running, but after a few steps, they ran back immediately.
After bowing respectfully to Fang Zelin to express his gratitude, he continued running back.
Fang Zelin was both amused and exasperated; the way this bowing was done just didn't look right.
Looking up at the half-eaten pancake he had left, Fang Zelin took small bites, swallowing it with a few sips of water.
I didn't get enough to eat for dinner, but it doesn't matter. I can skip a meal without any problem.
However, even with over thirty years of cultivation, he doesn't seem to have reached the level of Grain Avoidance.
It seems that Grain Avoidance requires specifically learning this kind of Law Technique, Grain Avoidance?
In his previous life, Fang Zelin had heard of the Daoist Grain Avoidance Technique.
After eating half a pancake, Fang Zelin heard bursts of laughter coming from ahead. He figured it was the children who had brought the pancake home, sharing it with their families and feeling happy.
Fang Zelin didn't think much about it at the moment, he just looked at the appearance of the mountain village.
As the sun was about to set, a group of children ran back and thanked Fang Zelin repeatedly.
Fang Zelin couldn't help but find this scene amusing; these little guys were quite polite.
Unfortunately, this was all the pancakes he had left.
The next day.
Fang Zelin got up at the crowing of the rooster, washed up, and then followed the instructions of the villagers.
If you follow the path up the mountain in the village straight ahead, you can reach Cloud Creek City directly.
Then we can take the official road to White Stone County.
Taking the mountain paths within the village will save you some time compared to the official road.
After finding out the route, Fang Zelin immediately set off.
The mountain road was somewhat rugged and winding, but fortunately, Fang Zelin was now extremely agile and walked along it as if it were flat ground.
After spending half a day walking out of the mountains, we saw Cloud Creek City in the distance.
Fang Zelin was delighted to see this. After arriving in Cloud Creek City, he would soon reach White Stone County.
With a light step on a stone beside him, Fang Zelin easily flipped over and landed smoothly on the official road.
Cloud Creek.
Fang Zelin looked up at the name hanging on the city wall. The name was written in a vigorous and powerful style, and it seemed to be written by a master calligrapher.
After glancing at the name, Fang Zelin immediately headed into the city.
A moment later, Fang Zelin arrived in front of a restaurant.
Having not eaten enough last night and not having eaten breakfast this morning, Fang Zelin was quite hungry. Upon arriving at the restaurant, he immediately ordered a plate of Qingjing rice and a few side dishes.
Putting everything else aside, the restaurant offers a pretty wide variety of dishes.
The variety of dishes is quite extensive, including dishes like Panyou Rice, Yujing Rice, Pantao Rice, and Erhong Rice.
While Fang Zelin was waiting for the food to be served, his ears twitched slightly as he overheard the people at the next table talking about the master from White Stone County.
Upon hearing this, Fang Zelin immediately became interested.
Even now, he only knows that there is a master in White Stone County, but he doesn't know exactly where that master is.
Now we can hear it from other people.
