Bamboo Leaf Green
The sun outside the window is almost setting.
The golden light bathed the entire room in a yellow hue.
The inn itself was built of wood, and now the entire room was bathed in the glow of the setting sun, giving it a more tranquil feel.
Fang Zelin stood by the window, gazing at the beautiful sunset in the distance.
The setting sun cast a long shadow of him, which then loomed over the room behind him.
A moment later, the sun slowly set, and the sunlight in the room gradually disappeared as well.
Seeing this, Fang Zelin withdrew his gaze, picked up the sword beside him, and went downstairs.
After practicing the Treatise on the Supreme One's Response) for a long time, when applying it to a precious sword, one does indeed feel a greater connection to the source of the energy.
I reckon that with more practice, I'll be able to control the sword as easily as I control my arms.
Thinking of this, Fang Zelin was in a great mood.
Feeling refreshed and relaxed, I arrived at the restaurant downstairs.
The sky wasn't completely dark yet, but many lanterns had already been hung outside the restaurant.
Bright red lanterns hung high, forming a row along the street.
Fang Zelin Fang Zelin in the restaurant, in a great mood, and ordered a pot of wine.
"Sir, what kind of wine would you like? Would you prefer Daughter's Red, Bamboo Leaf Green, or perhaps the finest Beauty's Delight?"
When the waiter saw that Fang Zelin wanted wine, he quickly asked.
Fang Zelin listened with curiosity, "Are there any special sayings or traditions associated with these three types of wine?"
"There are certainly some explanations for this. You're probably already familiar with Daughter's Red, so I won't go into detail. As for Bamboo Leaf Green, it's made by taking newly grown green bamboo, making a small incision, adding a secret brewing liquid, sealing it inside, and then taking it out after the bamboo has fully grown. That's how you get this fine wine."
"As for this beauty, she is a beauty raised in the county town since childhood to be a wine-making maid. When she reaches the age of sixteen, she will use her delicate feet to tread on the wine-making materials."
As the waiter continued, he stood up and began to explain some of the intricacies of the situation.
Fang Zelin was speechless for a moment; the Great Jin Dynasty really knew how to play games.
"In that case, let's have a cup of Zhuyeqing tea."
Fang Zelin wasn't very interested in Daughter Red or Beauty Yao.
It's said that the ingredients were taken from a beautiful young woman in her late twenties who was treading on them to brew wine, but I didn't see it with my own eyes, so who knows if that's true?
The waiter said "Oh," noted Fang Zelin ordered, and left.
A moment later, the waiter brought over the stir-fried dishes one by one, along with a bowl of bamboo leaf green tea.
"Please enjoy your meal, sir!"
After the waiter finished speaking, he turned and left.
Fang Zelin took the Zhuyeqing liquor, poured himself a glass, and took a small sip. The liquor was sweet and refreshing with a hint of aftertaste.
It tastes rather unusual.
However, the flavor was a bit too strong, which is a minor drawback.
This surprised Fang Zelin somewhat; he hadn't expected that the bamboo leaf green tea would taste so good.
After sipping a few sips of wine and eating a few bites of snacks, Fang Zelin turned to look out the window and suddenly paused slightly.
Below, several underworld officials strode past, as if they were handling some kind of case.
It was already dark, and the underworld officials no longer held up their umbrellas.
There were many pedestrians on the street, and none of them could see these underworld officials as they walked by.
It's not like this when the day and Night Wandering God are on patrol.
Fang Zelin wondered what had happened here.
The patrolling underworld officials below seemed to sense something and couldn't help but look up.
When he saw Fang Zelin sitting by the window with a wine glass in his hand, and their eyes met, he couldn't help but be startled.
After pondering for a moment, he cupped his hands in a respectful greeting to Fang Zelin and continued on his way.
"Sir, what was that you just doing?"
The other underworld officials standing nearby were puzzled by this.
What was my head just doing? Bowing to a mere mortal?
"That person just now was no ordinary person."
Seeing the expressions on his colleagues' faces, the patrolling underworld official naturally knew what they were thinking, and immediately recounted what had just happened.
"Anyone who can see us is extraordinary, not to mention this person's extraordinary demeanor; he must be a remarkable individual."
After the patrol officer finished speaking, his colleagues nearby subconsciously turned to look.
However, they had already gone far away and could no longer be seen.
Fang Zelin had already looked away and was slowly savoring the bamboo leaf green tea in his cup.
"Hey, have you heard? Apparently, quite a few people have been searching for traces of fairies lately."
"Searching for fairies? What are you doing? Are you looking for death?"
As Fang Zelin was enjoying his bamboo leaf tea, he overheard whispers coming from not far ahead.
Fang Zelin was also taken aback upon hearing this voice.
Yeah, why would they bother looking for those fairies?
Of all the demons Fang Zelin had encountered before, none of them were good.
The water ghost originally intended to harm people, but he was tricked by him and became a ghost official.
The deer demon wasn't inherently bad; its nature was alright.
However, that person is not someone you can easily deal with.
Then there are skeleton spirits and the like, which want to devour anyone they see.
Looking for these demons? Isn't that just suicide?
Fang Zelin felt something was off, so he listened more carefully.
"Hey, who doesn't know that this Seeking the Dao World is a real world? That means the fairies and such in this world are all real."
"If these fairies are real, think about it carefully: aren't the Law Technique they use also real? If you could learn even a move or two from them, wouldn't that be far more powerful than any martial arts?"
Fang Zelin looked over upon hearing the voice and saw the speaker, a man dressed in a flying fish robe with a long knife hanging at his waist.
His body was filled with the strong smell of rivers and lakes.
The other person was dressed in a scholar's robe and was waving a fan in his hand.
After taking a closer look, I confirmed that it was indeed a player.
"If that's the case, it does seem to be true."
Upon hearing this, the man in the scholar's robe thought about it carefully and then nodded.
"But aren't demons said to like eating people? I heard they especially like eating human flesh and think it tastes good."
This is a conclusion many people have drawn after encountering fairies.
In the nearby mountains, we encountered quite a few demons.
Many people lost their lives as a result.
"Well, just as there are good and bad people, there are also good and bad demons. If we can find a good demon, perhaps this matter can be accomplished."
The man in the flying fish robe spoke casually.
Previously, everyone thought that practicing martial arts could improve physical fitness and even teach light-body skills, which was extremely exciting.
The fact that martial arts skills can actually be learned in the real world has made it even more addictive for countless people.
However, after the official announcement that the Seeking the Dao World" is the real world, many people immediately felt that learning martial arts wasn't so appealing anymore.
They didn't know about other things, but many of them had seen demons and had even managed to escape with their lives.
This caused many people to change their course.
