At the center of the Dharma Demonstration Platform, the withered old monk on the white jade lotus platform did not say much, but simply tapped the seemingly ordinary nine-ringed tin staff in his hand lightly.

"Clang--!"

A clear and melodious metallic clang instantly swept through the entire arena, silencing all subtle noises.

The five hundred Arhat straightened up and focused their gazes.

The old monk lowered his eyelids slightly and did not speak, yet a grand, deep, and resonant Buddhist chant flowed from the depths of everyone's hearts. "Disciples of the Buddha, at today's Dharma assembly, this old monk will offer a humble suggestion, to elicit further discussion, on the two words 'immovable'."

His voice was calm, yet each word was like a golden pearl falling onto a jade plate, carrying a strange composure and majesty.

"In our Buddhist Order, there is a venerable King of Light, named Immovable," who is the foremost of all Kings of Light, manifesting a wrathful form, wielding a sword of wisdom, guarding the eight directions, and subduing all demonic obstacles—

As the old monk spoke, subtle changes began to occur in the void around him.

He did not deliberately activate his Law Power, but his extremely pure Buddhist understanding and profound comprehension of the "Immovable Wisdom King" lineage triggered a resonance with the principles of the Dharma in the the Unseen.

A deep, dark golden aura emerged from his withered body. It was not dazzling, but as heavy as the earth and as solid as diamond.

Amidst the radiance, a faint phantom of a three-headed, six-armed, blue-flame-wrathed, and wrathful deity appeared.

Although it was only an outline, the overwhelming and unshakable aura it exuded had already spread, causing many of the Arhat in the room to show solemn expressions.

What the old monk spoke of was not a specific method for cultivating Divine Ability powers, but rather how the True Intention "immovability" can be combined with the cultivation of mind and nature and with the fundamental wisdom of Buddhism.

From "External disturbances are like clouds, but if the mind remains unmoved, it is Pure Land," to "To subdue inner demons and delusions, one also needs the unmoving sword of fundamental wisdom," and then to "Amidst the changes of all phenomena, see the unchanging, self-nature Buddha-mind."

His words were exquisite and to the point, and many of his principles even touched upon common confusions and detours in spiritual practice.

Many of the Arhat in the hall listened with rapt attention, sometimes appearing to understand, sometimes frowning in deep thought.

Even more remarkably, the physical appearance around the practitioner subtly adjusts and evolves in accordance with the content of the Dharma talk, clearly indicating that they have gained some understanding.

Qi Yun listened intently.

Based on the Primordial True Body, he simulated the Dharma of the Great Radiance Sect and Daoism.

Hearing this orthodox high-level Buddhist practitioner expound on the Immovable Wisdom King lineage, many previously vague points suddenly became clear.

I gained a more intuitive and profound understanding of Buddhist Order concepts such as "equal attainment of concentration and wisdom" and "manifesting compassion through fierceness."

The clear light behind his head expanded and contracted slightly with the rhythm of the sermon, and the radiance flowing at the edge of the halo seemed to become even more refined and pure.

The old monk preached for about half an hour before slowly falling silent.

The Immovable Wisdom King then faded away.

Only a lingering, melancholic aftertaste remains in the air.

"This humble monk offers his humble opinion as an introduction."

Disciples of the Buddha, you may freely express your opinions and discuss profound truths.

The old monk raised his eyelids and calmly swept his gaze across the entire area.

After a brief silence, a charlatan wearing a crimson robe, with a face as red as a jujube and an aura as fiery as fire, Arhat first, clasped his hands in prayer, and said, "Excellent! I am moved by what the Venerable One has said."

This humble monk is deeply moved and wishes to engage in a debate on "fire and compassion".

I offer my humble opinion and welcome corrections from fellow practitioners.

He did not go on stage, but stood in place, his voice loud and clear, and a crimson Buddha light naturally rose around him.

Within the light, red lotuses seemed to bloom and vanish, illustrating the profound truth that "anger burns away the fuel of troubles, and red lotuses give birth to a realm of coolness."

Its lineage is clearly different from "Immovable".

The path taken is to use intense external manifestations to cleanse the mind and transform poison into wisdom.

As soon as he finished speaking, another nun, pale-faced and with a cool, moon-like aura, stood up. Her voice was soft yet clear. "What you said about the compassion of raging fire, senior brother, I believe can also be found in the Moonlight Samadhi."

The mind is like the moon, its cool light shining everywhere. Troubles and defilements vanish upon encountering it; they are not burned, but purified.

A cool, ethereal moon appeared around her, casting a tranquil glow, illustrating another path of spiritual practice: overcoming strength with gentleness and controlling movement with stillness.

From that moment on, it was as if the floodgates had been opened.

One after another, the Arhat rose to their feet, either expounding on the fundamental essence of their Movement Method lineage, or questioning, supplementing, and extending the teachings of their predecessors. The topics covered were all-encompassing.

Some say that the "Diamond Sutra" has the sharpness to pierce through all appearances;

Some discuss the boundless and expansive nature of the "Lotus Treasury Realm";

There are discussions about the compassionate and skillful means of healing the suffering of all beings with "Medicine Buddha Lapis Lazuli";

There is a meticulous and precise explanation of "cause and effect" –

No one kept secrets, and no one held onto prejudices.

They generously shared their profound understanding of Buddhism, their unique insights from practice, and even their innovative interpretations of some ancient scriptures.

Sometimes differing opinions can lead to heated but polite debates.

The essence of Buddhist teachings collided and intertwined in the void, giving rise to all sorts of wondrous phenomena:

Sometimes the vajra and lotus intertwine, combining strength and gentleness;

At times, the illusory figures of wrathful deities and bodhisattvas with lowered brows can be seen coexisting, together displaying a unity of compassion and majesty;

At times, countless golden Sanskrit characters appear to cascade down and recombine like a waterfall, illustrating the profound principle of dependent origination and emptiness.

At times, the chanting of celestial dragons and the Kalavinka could be heard naturally rising from the void, echoing profound discourses.

They were actually just discussing doctrines and expounding their teachings.

Qi Yun initially on high alert, thinking that this Dharma assembly, which gathered five hundred Arhat, might be ostensibly a discussion of the Dao, but in reality, it might also be an attempt to unify thoughts, assign tasks, or even discuss certain secret actions.

He listened carefully to every word, observed every subtle change in expression and breath, trying to extract the hidden information from them.

As time went by, one Arhat after another spoke, and one discussion and debate after another unfolded purely around the doctrines of Buddhism and the key points of practice. Qi Yun's astonishment deepened.

There were no codes, no cryptic instructions, not a single word about the current situation.

Yes, only through a devout exploration of the supreme Dharma, an ardent pursuit of the true meaning of practice, and the unreserved sharing and encouragement among fellow practitioners.

The atmosphere was so pure that it felt somewhat unreal to him.

After all, this was a secret gathering of powerful figures from both righteous sects and the Northwest Demonic Sect.

They are often intertwined with exchanges of interests, factional struggles, and even subtle probing.

Such a large-scale, high-level gathering of cultivators, yet engaging solely in pure, high-level academic exchange, is almost unheard of.

Gradually, Qi Yun's mind was also involuntarily drawn to this high-level Buddhist and Daoist feast.

Five hundred Foundation Establishment Arhat represent five hundred profound understandings and paths of practice of Buddhism.

Their open and honest communication was like a vast panorama of Buddhist and Daoist practices unfolding before him.

Many of the key points of Buddhist Order that he had never thought of or could not understand were illuminated at this moment by discussions from different perspectives.

The Great Radiance Sect meaning, which it simulates itself, becomes increasingly harmonious and transparent through reference and verification with the essence of various Dharma lineages, and even gives rise to some new insights.

The Great Light Manifestation behind his head began to undergo subtle and mysterious changes involuntarily as he listened and comprehended.

Within the halo, besides the original pure white light, some flowing golden patterns gradually emerged, like lotus flowers opening and closing, like Sanskrit characters arising and ceasing, and also manifesting miniature outlines of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in various postures.

Although it was fleeting, it revealed that his understanding of Buddhism and Daoism was rapidly deepening and sublimating.

After a long pause, Qi Yun's eyes flickered slightly, and a sudden realization dawned on him.

Perhaps this is one of the reasons why overseas Buddhist practitioners have been able to gather such a large number of Foundation Establishment Arhat.

Compared to the righteous sects and the Northwest Demonic Sect, which are strict in their sectarianism, do not easily pass on their teachings, and cherish their own secrets, the righteous sects are far superior.

These overseas Buddhist practitioners seem to have absolutely no reservations about this matter.

Look at the expressions of these Arhat, their focus and enthusiasm when listening and debating.

This level of philosophical discourse was not a first for them; it was a regular occurrence.

Compared to the righteous path, the demonic sects often regard profound methods as the foundation of their existence and the secret of their inheritance, only passing them on to their direct disciples and rewarding them only for meritorious service, with more competition than cooperation among disciples and between sects.

Between the Buddhist and Buddhist schools, a completely new and efficient environment for Dharma practice has been established.

In a sense.

Shi Xiu has already taken the lead over the righteous and demonic sects that cling to the old ways.

Upon realizing this, Qi Yun felt a chill run down his spine. The initial shock he felt upon seeing the five hundred Arhat had transformed into a deeper sense of vigilance and understanding.

As expected, Shi Xiu had accumulated wealth and influence overseas for countless years. Once he gained power, he was able to cross the sea to the east and seize control of Southern Yin with lightning speed, transforming an ancient dynasty into a Buddhist kingdom on earth.

This is by no means solely due to luck or the accidental decision of a powerful individual.

Behind this lies a mature, efficient, highly cohesive, and promising system of practice and organization.

This system is perhaps their true source of confidence and the foundation upon which they dare to attempt such an astonishing feat as "communication with those above the True Lord"!

"When--"

Another clear, melodious bell rang out, its sound seemingly coming from nowhere, echoing above the Dharma Demonstration Platform and bringing another round of heated debate to a perfect halt.

The gaunt old monk on the central lotus platform slowly spoke, his voice still peaceful. "At today's Dharma assembly, the Dharma teachings of all the Buddha's disciples flowed forth, and profound truths were presented. This old monk has also benefited greatly."

The time has come; let us rest for now.

In the afternoon, we can continue our discussion, or move to the "Dharma Testing Ground" to exchange ideas on the Dharma Protector's Divine Ability, stopping short of revealing everything we've learned.

The Dharma assembly paused, but many Arhat remained immersed in the debate they had just discussed. They gathered in twos and threes, continuing their discussion in hushed tones, their faces mostly bearing expressions of satisfaction and contemplation.

Huijue Arhat to Qi Yun and smiled, "Fahai, how do you feel? Have you gained anything?"

Qi Yun composed himself, clasped his hands together, and replied, "This has broadened my horizons and I have benefited immensely."

My fellow practitioners are deeply versed in Buddhist teachings and speak frankly about the Dharma. I, Fahai, am filled with Fahai and also realize that my own learning still needs further refinement.

He spoke from the bottom of his heart.

What he saw today not only gave him a direct understanding of the power of overseas Buddhist practitioners, but also gave him a glimpse into its terrifying potential.

This Spirit Mountain Sacred Realm was even more profound and unfathomable than he had imagined.
