For the next few days, the Shrek Seven Devils received no news of Tang San. The Spirit Hall's wanted posters had spread to nearby cities, and Tang San's portrait could be seen everywhere on the streets. The 20,000 Gold Soul Coin reward attracted many Soul Master and mercenaries. Flender sent people out to search several times, but they all returned empty-handed. Even Yu Xiaogang's facial injuries had almost healed, but Tang San still seemed to have completely disappeared.
In the lounge, Flender sat at the table, a map of the surrounding area in front of him. Zhao Wuji and Yu Xiaogang sat on either side, and Dai Mubai and the others were also there. Flender looked at the cities marked on the map, his brows furrowed. "We've searched everywhere we can think of nearby. Little San is wanted throughout the entire continent and doesn't dare to enter cities casually. Finding him is really too difficult."
Yu Xiaogang remained silent, his face grim. He was now more worried that Tang San had fallen into the hands of the Spirit Hall, but the Spirit Hall was deliberately not releasing the information. Zhu Zhuqing leaned against Xiao Wu, noticing how much more haggard she had become in the past few days, and didn't know how to comfort her.
Just when everyone was at a loss, there was a knock on the door.
Flender looked up and walked over to open the door. Standing outside was a person completely shrouded in a black cloak, the brim pulled low, obscuring their face. Flender immediately became alert, one hand already subtly circulating his Soul Power: "Who are you? What brings you here?"
A familiar voice quickly came from beneath the cloak. "Dean, it's me."
Flender was taken aback at first, then his eyes widened suddenly. " Little San?"
Tang San raised his head, revealing a dust-covered face beneath his cloak. Flender was both surprised and delighted. He then peeked down the corridor to make sure no one was following him, before pulling Tang San into the room and quickly closing the door. "You brat, you actually came back again! There are wanted posters for you everywhere outside, and you still dare to sneak in here!"
Tang San removed his cloak, his hair plastered messily to his face, and his clothes torn in many places. These past few days, evading capture and being chased and bombed by drones in Sunset Forest, he had barely had a proper rest. "Dean, I'm back."
Flender looked him up and down, making sure he wasn't missing any limbs, before patting him firmly on the shoulder. "It's good you're back, it's good you're back. Come on, let's go see them first; everyone's practically turned the neighborhood upside down these past few days."
The two arrived at the door of the lounge. Flender pushed the door open and went in, a smile finally appearing on his face, "Don't worry, let's see who's back."
Everyone looked up and saw Tang San following behind Flender, and the room fell silent for a moment. Xiao Wu was the first to stand up, her eyes reddening instantly. She rushed to Tang San and threw herself into his arms.
" The Little San!"
The God King Tang San, who was in control of his body, stiffened for a moment, then subconsciously reached out and hugged her. The familiar scent came, and the expression in his eyes slowly changed. His arms tightened, as if he was afraid that the person in his arms would disappear again.
" Xiao Wu..."
God King Tang San whispered the name. Hundreds of years of Remembrance flooded his mind, and he couldn't help but lower his head, holding Xiao Wu tightly in his arms. "I've finally seen you again."
Xiao Wu sensed that Tang San Tang San was acting strangely today. Although he would hug her before, he rarely did it so tightly. However, she assumed that Tang San had just escaped from the Spirit Hall and was still upset, so she reached out and hugged his waist. "Brother, it's good that you're back. We were all very worried about you."
Deep down, the other half of Tang San was on the verge of madness.
"Let go of me!"
God King Tang San seemed not to have heard at all.
"Take your hands off Xiao Wu's waist! That's my Xiao Wu!"
God King Tang San still held Xiao Wu in his arms, completely ignoring the roar in his mind. Looking at the girl so close to him, he had only one thought in his mind: in this life, he would never let Xiao Wu go again.
Tang San's consciousness was furious and desperately struggled for control of his body, but with so many people watching, he dared not make a scene too obviously. If his body suddenly started moving erratically like when he met Yu Xiaogang before, everyone would notice something was wrong. All he could do was curse God King Tang San in his mind.
Flender stood to the side for a while, then finally coughed and said, "Ahem, the Little San just got back. You two can talk about what you have to say later."
Xiao Wu then realized there were so many people in the room, her face flushed red, and she quickly jumped out of Tang San. Ning Rongrong sat behind her watching her with a smile on her lips. Xiao Wu glared at her fiercely and quickly ran back to her seat.
After Yu Xiaogang Tang San sat down, Yu Xiaogang frowned and asked, " Little San, how exactly did you escape? And why did the Spirit Hall suddenly issue a continent-wide warrant for your arrest?"
God King Tang San had already prepared his explanation. He picked up the water on the table and took a sip. "That day, all the guards in the dungeon had been transferred. When I woke up, there were hardly any people around, so I tried to escape. But not long after I got out of the dungeon, I ran into the Golden Generation of the Spirit Hall."
Dai Mubai asked, " Xie Yue and the others?"
Tang San nodded. "It was them. They attacked immediately after they discovered I had escaped, so I had no choice but to fight back. Later, more and more people from the Spirit Hall joined the fight, and I had no choice but to escape from Spirit City first."
As he said this, his expression darkened. "I thought I was safe for the time being after escaping, but I didn't expect the Spirit Hall to issue a continent-wide warrant for my arrest. Now almost every city has people looking for me, and the bounty is still 20,000 Gold Soul Coin."
Zhao Wuji frowned upon hearing this. "You're really lucky to be back now."
Tang San put down his water glass, a cold glint flashing in his eyes. The Spirit Hall had not only captured his father, but also made him a wanted criminal across the entire continent, forcing him to spend the last few days either hiding in forests or mud pits. They had even taken over the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well.
They have truly found a way to die.
Yu Xiaogang looked at Tang San: "Now that you're back, what are your plans? We can't stay here any longer; the Spirit Hall will eventually trace it back to Shrek Academy."
God King Tang San did not answer immediately, but turned to look at Ning Rongrong.
Ning Rongrong found his gaze odd. "Third Brother, why are you looking at me like that?"
" Rongrong, I need your help." Tang San sat up slightly, his expression becoming serious. "Can you contact Sect Master Ning? It would be best if he could come in person, or arrange for someone to represent the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect to meet me."
Ning Rongrong was even more puzzled. "Looking for my dad? What do you want?"
God King Tang San looked at her, his tone resolute. "I'm going to discuss a big deal with the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect."
Several people in the room looked over.
Ning Rongrong blinked. "What kind of business requires my father to discuss it personally?"
The corners of God King Tang San's mouth curled up slightly.
"All you need to do is tell Sect Master Ning that I have something that can grant the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect an immense fortune."
