Die!
With a furious roar from the Asura God, the Asura God Sword, carrying an overwhelming crimson divine Divine Power, crashed down. That sword strike made no attempt to probe; all the killing power at the God King level was concentrated at the blade's edge. The surrounding space was distorted inch by inch by the terrifying power, and the scarlet sword light almost completely engulfed Acheron.
The God of Destruction's expression changed drastically. He hadn't expected Asura to actually attack without holding back. However, the two were too close, and even if he tried to stop him now, it was too late. The ordinary gods around them all retreated, not daring to approach the area shrouded in the Slaughter Divine Power.
However, Acheron never showed any panic when facing the Asura God Sword that was slashing down on him.
She didn't even draw her sword.
Just as the Asura God Sword was about to fall on his head, Acheron simply raised his right hand and lifted the katana that was still in its sheath at his waist.
The next moment, the sword blade and the hilt collided head-on.
"Bang!"
A deep, muffled bang exploded out.
Crimson and purple power swept outwards from the two, instantly causing numerous cracks to appear on the Divine Realm beneath their feet, and a visible shockwave swept outwards. Several low-ranking deities who were closer did not even have time to react before being forced back by the aftershocks, with some retreating dozens of meters before barely managing to steady themselves.
But what truly shocked the gods was not the aftershocks.
Instead, Acheron's knife was not even drawn.
The katana was simply held horizontally in front of him, and the Asura God Sword could no longer move downwards even an inch.
Acheron stood still, not taking a single step back, her grip on the scabbard revealing an impossibly low level of strength. Her long purple hair swayed gently in the aftershocks, her expression remaining as calm as if she had merely blocked a harmless probe, not a full-force attack from the God King.
The cold smile on the Asura God's face vanished completely.
His pupils suddenly contracted, and he gripped the Asura God Sword with both hands, continuing to exert force downwards. However, no matter how much Slaughter Divine Power he unleashed, the sword's edge seemed to have struck an unshakeable barrier.
"Impossible..."
For the first time, the Asura God truly realized something was wrong.
He knew best how much power he had used in that sword strike. Even the God of Destruction couldn't have stood still and so easily caught it with just one hand and a weapon that hadn't even been drawn.
The woman before me, who doesn't seem to possess any Divine Power, is definitely not an ordinary person.
Looking at the Asura God so close at hand, Acheron spoke again, "I have no intention of being your enemy. If there are rules prohibiting unauthorized entry, I may leave."
Her tone remained calm, showing no contempt despite having blocked the Asura God's sword.
But to the ears of the Asura God at this moment, it took on a completely different meaning.
"Arrogant!"
The Asura God's face was extremely grim, and his crimson Divine Power surged once more. He abruptly withdrew the Asura God Sword, his figure spun in the air, and the sharp sword light shot straight towards the Acheron from another direction.
This sword strike was even faster than before.
The Asura God had completely abandoned his initial contempt and now truly regarded the woman before him as an enemy that needed to be dealt with with all his might. Countless crimson sword energies erupted simultaneously with the divine sword, almost sealing off all directions in which Acheron could dodge.
Acheron simply looked at him, a hint of helplessness in his eyes.
"Since that's the case..."
She sighed softly.
The next instant, the figure of Acheron disappeared from the Asura God's sight.
Before the Asura God could even turn his gaze, two purple afterimages had already swept past his sides, followed by several more identical figures flashing by from different directions. The speed was so fast that even divine sense could not fully capture them; one could only see purple trails intertwining around the Asura God, finally forming a huge intersection in front of him.
Acheron's figure had already appeared behind the Asura God.
She remained in the same position, gripping the scabbard.
The next moment, the purple trails intersecting around the Asura God lit up simultaneously, and lightning erupted.
Bang!
The Asura God's body shuddered violently, and his protective divine Divine Power shattered almost simultaneously. He was blasted forward by the force, blood gushing from several wounds on his body. Finally, he spat out a mouthful of blood and knelt heavily on one knee.
The Asura God's body trembled violently.
"Puff!"
A mouthful of blood spurted from his mouth.
The crimson Divine Power that had surrounded his body trembled violently, and the Asura God Sword in his hand drooped. The Asura God staggered forward half a step, and finally knelt heavily on one knee, barely able to support his body only by inserting the sword into the ground.
The surroundings became completely quiet.
The two God King, one representing good and the Evil, wore solemn expressions. For the first time, a clear look of shock appeared in the eyes of the Goddess of Life, and even the usually powerful God of Destruction did not speak immediately.
They didn't even really see what had just happened.
From the Acheron disappeared to the moment the Asura God knelt, only a few breaths had passed. What was even more alarming was that Acheron clearly had no intention of killing the Asura God. Although the knife wounds made him look extremely disheveled, none of them had actually landed in a fatal spot.
She was holding back from the very beginning.
The Asura God was also aware of this.
He raised his head, blood still lingering at the corner of his mouth. The contempt he had shown before was gone, replaced by shock and incomprehension in his eyes as he looked at Acheron.
"Who... exactly are you?"
Acheron stopped in his tracks.
She slowly turned her head, glanced at the Asura God kneeling on the ground, and then swept her gaze over the surrounding deities who were now on full alert.
She did not explain her powers, nor did she answer which planet she came from.
He simply uttered a name calmly.
" Galaxy Ranger, Acheron."
Meanwhile, deep within the starry sea, some distance from the Divine Realm.
A hidden base floats quietly in space.
The room was piled high with papers covered in writing, many of which had been crumpled up and thrown on the floor. In the center of the table, a small black cat was crouching among the scattered papers, its tail swishing restlessly.
It looked down at the page of writing that had just been completed in front of it, stared at it for a long time, and then suddenly stretched out its paw, pressed down on the paper, and tore it into several pieces once again.
There were already countless identical discarded drafts piled up next to it.
The black cat dragged over another blank sheet of paper, lowered its head, and continued writing.
It stopped again after a short while.
The cat scratched its ear in frustration, glanced at the contents of the paper, then looked at the torn-up scripts beside it, as if it were encountering a problem for the first time that it couldn't get things to go according to plan no matter how it was modified.
It remained silent for a long time, and finally raised its paw once more.
The paper, which had just been filled with writing, was torn in half again.
Just as the black cat was about to drag over another sheet of paper, the Silver Wolf, who had been leaning against the sofa playing games, finally couldn't help but look up. She glanced at the torn manuscript papers scattered all over the floor, then turned to look at Kafka not far away, and casually asked, " Kafka, how many times has Elio revised this script?"
Kafka, sitting to the side with her cup in hand, simply smiled upon hearing this, glancing at the black cat on the table still engrossed in revising the script. "Who knows? I can't remember anymore."
Silver Wolf clicked his tongue after hearing this, then lowered his head and fiddled with the terminal again. "For Elio to change the script like this, this variable is really troublesome."
