Ruthless Chi Qing
Just as the passage where Dongfang Yueming was located fell into dead silence, a grand feast of slaughter was just beginning in another fork in the road.
"No... don't kill me! Brother Chi Qing! We're on the same team!" A young martial artist collapsed to the ground, his face filled with fear and pleading. There was a bloody claw mark on his chest, and blood was gushing out.
Standing before him was none other than Chi Qing, the gentle and refined prodigy of the Chi Family, on whom everyone placed high hopes.
However, Chi Qing at this moment was no longer the elegant gentleman he once was. A sickly, blissful smile hung on his face, and he held a shattered fragment of Gray Mist Pearl in his hand. The dense gray mist, like a living venomous snake, Entanglement around his arm, making his entire aura evil and violent.
"Team One?" Chi Qing chuckled, his voice hoarse and distorted. "It's precisely because of Team One that you were least on guard. This power... it's truly wonderful!"
He licked his lips, and without hesitation, swung his claw down, ending his companion's life. The rich essence of his blood flowed into his body along with the gray mist, causing him to let out a satisfied groan.
He closed his eyes, indulging in the feeling of his power rapidly increasing, as if this were the true essence of Martial Dao.
"It's... disgusting."
A cold, disdainful voice came from the back of the passage.
Chi Qing suddenly opened her eyes, a murderous One Flash across her face, and turned to look. She saw Qiang Feng, Qiang Feng and imposing with an aura like a mountain, leaning quietly against the stone wall with his arms crossed, his eyes filled with disdain.
"Qiang Feng?" Chi Qing's smile vanished, replaced by a chilling expression. "When did you arrive? Trying to be the one to suffer the consequences?"
"I simply disdain associating with someone like you." Qiang Feng shook his head, his tone indifferent. "For power, you abandoned your human dignity, even turning against your own comrades. Chi Qing, you've disappointed me greatly."
"Disappointed?" Chi Qing seemed to have heard the biggest joke in the world. He opened his arms, feeling the surging power within him, and laughed wildly, "What do you know! Qiang Feng! This is the shortcut to ultimate strength! Your methodical cultivation is too slow! Once I absorb enough power, not to mention you, I can even fight a Grandmaster!"
Qiang Feng didn't argue with him anymore, but just looked at him coldly, as if he were watching a clown. He knew that Chi Qing had completely gone mad at this moment.
"Hmph, those who walk different paths cannot make plans together." Chi Qing snorted coldly, choosing not to fight Qiang Feng, but instead turning and walking deeper into the passage. His gaze swept across the crowd, and when he saw Wei Dao, Lang Po, and the unharmed Dongfang Yueming, a hint of surprise flashed in his eyes.
"Chi Qing, you..." A survivor from his team pointed at him, trembling with shock and anger.
Chi Qing ignored him and instead looked towards the direction of the Heavenly Wolf Gate, laughing loudly, "Brother Lang Po, are you still going to keep pretending? On this final stage, the weak no longer have the right to stand."
No sooner had he finished speaking than Lang Po, standing behind Lang Xiaotian, gave a sinister smile. He no longer concealed his intentions and crushed a Gray Mist Pearl as well!
"Roar!"
The raging gray mist erupted once more, and Lang Po's body instantly swelled, transforming into a monster form identical to Chi Qing!
