Meeting Yu Tianheng and the Marriage Alliance

Ning Fengzhi brings Rongrong to a gathering at the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan to introduce her to its young clan leader. Uninterested in the adults’ discussions, she approaches Yu Tianheng with cake and asks him to take her outside. She returns holding his hand and proudly wearing a flower wreath he has woven for her 14.

Their friendship becomes the basis for marriage negotiations. Ning Fengzhi hopes that a betrothal will protect his daughter’s future and strengthen the sect she is expected to inherit. Martial Soul Evolution

After Yu Tianheng returns from a dangerous journey, Rongrong initially sulks because he left without her. He gives her the Aromatic Silk Beauty, a rare medicinal herb that may evolve her Martial Soul. During a city outing, Rongrong, Dugu Yan, and Ye Lingling face a cloaked attacker later identified as Tang Hao. After Yu Tianheng confronts him, Rongrong chooses to return to cultivation rather than continue shopping, determined not to hold Yu Tianheng back 63 64.

She later travels aboard the Bright Moon Rises over the Sea, where she obtains her third Soul Ring. During a fishing excursion, her competitive enthusiasm nearly gets her pulled overboard; Yu Tianheng catches her before she falls 73 77.

Separation and Clan Administration

At the newly discovered continent, Rongrong enjoys the environment and asks whether they can live there. Her excitement turns to distress when she learns that Yu Tianheng has entered seclusion alone and might remain away for years. She insists on finding him, but Bone Douluo eventually knocks her unconscious so the party can return to Douluo Continent 79 81 83.

While Yu Tianheng is absent, she helps handle the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan’s affairs. She also shares responsibility for watching a ring carrying his Soul Power. When its glow weakens and it grows hot, she immediately alerts the other women 85.

Rongrong and Ning Fengzhi devise a Soul Tool sales strategy that drains the two empires’ funds. After Yu Tianheng returns, she explains that buyers have been scrambling to purchase their costly Level 3 and Level 4 Soul Tools, leaving the Heaven Dou treasury nearly empty 88.

Later Political and Tournament Activities

Rongrong accompanies Yu Tianheng when he seeks Ning Fengzhi’s support against the Heaven Dou Empire. Her administrative experience has broadened her understanding of the political stakes. She even rejects Yu Tianheng’s suggestion that they extend their visit, citing unfinished clan business 100 101.

She subsequently joins the team assembled for Tian Heng Royal Academy’s tournament campaign. Against Shrek Academy, she steps between Zhu Zhuqing and Dai Mubai to prevent him from approaching her friend. Her attachment to Yu Tianheng combines genuine courage with insecurity. She insists on accompanying him even into danger, yet becomes distraught at his prolonged absence or the suggestion that he might stop liking her.
