Ming Xin's appearance was like tossing a slab of ten-thousand-year black ice into a boiling vat of oil.
The Dao aura around him was not particularly vast or ostentatious, yet it contained the unquestionable origins of "Order" and "existence." In an instant, it filled this twisted space contaminated by the High-Dimensional Rift and the intent of "hunger."
"Senior!" Amid the shadows, wild joy surged through Ying Sha's nearly collapsed consciousness.
Ming Xin gave a slight nod, but his gaze had already passed over Ying Sha and settled on the still-open Dimensional Rift, whose interior was a kaleidoscope of bizarre sights.
And on the translucent tentacle that had emerged once more, writhing restlessly toward the Drifting Star Tablet.
He saw the purple-black energy flowing across the tentacle, sharing the same origin as the Shadow of Guixu yet far more profound.

It had been drawn here by the Drifting Star Tablet's stress fluctuations and Ying Sha's peculiar "scent."
As though it had sensed the aura of Order emanating from Ming Xin—something that instinctively disgusted and threatened it—a sharper, warning-filled screech came from deep within the rift.
The enormous tentacle hesitated no longer. Abandoning the relatively "hard" Star Tablet, it lashed savagely toward Ming Xin with force enough to tear through dimensions!
Wherever the tentacle passed, the boundary
