Snyder displayed incredible power, defeating two Loa priests of the Forest Troll and securing victory for the Highborne.

Shadra was also surprised to see that the two Loa priests had withdrawn from the battlefield.

"Damn it, how could we lose so quickly?" Shadra said.

He looked at the Forest Troll and Highborne fighting each other on the battlefield.

With unwavering willpower, the Forest Troll fought to a draw against the combined forces of the Hand of the Bright Moon and the Highborne soldiers.

But he knew that once Snyder joined the battle, they, as ordinary Warrior, would be no match for him.

If Snyder were to cast even one elemental spell, these ordinary Warrior would be sent to meet Bwonsamdi.

After slashing down a Highborne soldier in front of him, Shadra declared, "All Amani warriors, heed my command!"

"Begin the retreat! I'll cover the rear!" Shadra shouted.

Upon hearing Shadra's order, the Amani Warrior were all surprised, but for them, there was only one thought in their lives regarding Shadra's command: obedience.

The surviving Amani Warrior began to retreat, much to the surprise of the Forest Troll alliance.

They began to give chase, but under the cover of Shadra and a group of skilled Forest Troll, most of the Amani Warrior managed to retreat.

"Chief, most of the Warrior have already withdrawn; the rest are up to them," said Shadra's captain of the personal guard.

"You should all leave too." Shadra stood still, not moving.

"Aren't you going to withdraw?" the captain of the guard asked.

"No, if I retreat, none of you will be able to leave," Shadra said, looking at Snyder, who was approaching the elven alliance.

"You can't stop him at all."

"Let's get out of here before he makes a move," Shadra said.

"But Chief, if we all leave, can you hold him off by yourself?" the captain of the guard asked.

"Your presence will only cause me trouble; I'll have to take care of you as well," Shadra said.

"But..." The captain of the guard clearly wanted to say something more, but Shadra waved his hand to interrupt him.

"Tell Bandersson and Kaostin that I have chosen the successor to the next chieftain and that they should assist him well." After saying this, Shadra walked towards the elven army's position.

Upon seeing this, the captain of the guard gritted his teeth and reassembled the remaining guards. He then selected the youngest guard from among them and told him what Shadra had just said, instructing him to go back and inform the other Forest Troll.

And make him release that particular eagle.

He then led the other guards towards where Shadra was.

Hearing the sound of hurried footsteps behind him Shadra turned around to look.

"Why are you back? Didn't I tell you to retreat!" Shadra was furious at their disobedience.

"I have already sent someone to relay your orders back."

"We are your personal guards; we won't leave unless you do," the captain of the guards said.

The guards around him nodded in agreement with their captain's words.

They had all been saved or received favors from Shadra in some way; they might not be the strongest, but they were certainly the most loyal.

Shadra had no desire to say anything more about his personal guards openly defying his orders.

"Take care of yourselves, I won't be able to protect you if a fight breaks out," Shadra said to the guards who had followed him.

The elven alliance reacted when they saw a group of people walking towards them instead of retreating.

Many elven soldiers immediately surrounded them.

Upon seeing the actions of the elven alliance, Shadra's personal guards also reacted.

They all raised their weapons and formed a standoff with the elven alliance.

"I wish to meet the elf among you who struck down two of our Loa priests," Shadra said.

But the elves did not move, because they could not understand what Shadra was saying.

Seeing that the elves did not move, Shadra repeated himself and pointed to Snyder standing in the elf ranks.

The elven allied forces, having witnessed Shadra's actions, turned their gaze to Snyder.

"Looks like you're looking for me?" Snyder said as he stepped out.

"Yes, I'm looking for you. I want to see what that elf who defeated one of the strongest in our clan looks like," Shadra said.

"We don't understand what you're saying," Snyder said.

"I want to spar with you." With that Shadra raised his weapon.

Upon witnessing the Forest Troll's actions, the elven alliance understood.

"Looks like he wants to spar with you one-on-one," said one of the Hand of the Bright Moon beside Snyder.

"Since he wants to come alone, I'll grant his wish." With that, Snyder walked over.

Seeing Snyder's actions, Shadra also dismissed his personal guards.

The elven alliance also retreated, leaving a clearing for the two.

The personal guard that Shadra brought was also subdued by Snyder's Hand of the Bright Moon.

Flame energy began to gather in Snyder's hands, Shadra also began to take a deep breath, preparing to attack.

A gentle breeze blew across the battlefield, carrying with it the scent of war.

Shadra was the first to attack, swinging his weapon.

Snyder didn't intend to get entangled with him and simply dodged Shadra's attack.

His hands, covered in fiery energy, reached directly for Shadra's heart.

With a "plop," Snyder pierced through Shadra's chest and ripped out Shadra heart.

Shadra was also very surprised that he had died so easily.

Snyder pulled his hand away, and Shadra's body collapsed.

His personal guards wanted to avenge Shadra after he was killed, but the Hand of the Bright Moon behind them did not give them the chance, killing them one by one with swift strokes of their blades.

The other Highborne didn't find anything wrong with Snyder and the Hand of the Bright Moon's actions; they were simply surprised by their decisiveness.

"Alright, leave a portion of the soldiers to keep watch, the rest of you come with me to support the central and rear forces." Snyder summoned a pool of water to wash the blood off his hands.

Upon hearing Snyder's order, the elven alliance quickly took action.

Some of the elven soldiers stayed behind, while the rest went with Snyder to provide support.

"Kaostin, what do we do? We're about to collapse," Krongsai said.

After the elven forces in the central army dealt with the Wild Bear Loa, the main force rushed towards them.

"My lord! A small elven force has appeared behind us," a Forest Troll soldier reported.

"Damn it," Kaostin, equally troubled.

"Awooo!" Just as Kaostin was at a loss for what to do, an eagle flew across the sky and let out its distinctive cry.

"Could it be... damn it." Kaostin looked up, drawn by the sound of the eagle. The appearance of the eagle meant that something had happened to Shadra.

"Retreat! Retreat!" Kaostin shouted, no longer able to focus on attacking and only able to issue the order to retreat.
