The Plan Takes Shape
"Stop talking!" Shadra interrupted Bandersson.
The pharmacist Bandersson, was stunned; he couldn't understand why Shadra was angry.
"My lord, why are you angry? Isn't this a good idea?" Bandersson asked, still voicing his doubts as he looked at the furious Shadra.
"Okay, but I disagree," Shadra said.
"Why don't you agree? If this plan succeeds, you can become the new emperor of the Forest Troll without shedding a drop of blood," Bandersson retorted.
He couldn't understand why his own chieftain would reject his solution, which was clearly the easiest one.
"If our clan is roughly equal in strength to the other clans, I will agree to your plan."
"But now the Amani Clan is far stronger than them."
"Our clan's soldiers are also more valiant and skilled in battle than theirs."
"Therefore, I disagree with this approach."
"And what's fake will always be fake; even the most profound magic will eventually be exposed."
"So you understand?" Shadra explained.
"But..." Bandersson wanted to argue.
"Your method is good, but it's not suitable for us right now."
"Alright, that's settled then." Shadra immediately rejected the idea.
Seeing this Bandersson didn't say anything more.
Kaostin and the four priests were delighted; they all scoffed at Bandersson's method.
"Let's now develop a new strategic plan," Shadra said.
"This map shows all the Pokémon's defensive formations."
"It was discovered by our Shadow Hunter."
"Come, speak your minds," Shadra said, then sat down in the main seat.
Actually, Shadra was asking Kaostin, because the other Troll didn't seem to have much talent for strategic deployment.
Priests and Witch Doctor both travel with the main force; the former quickly become important strategic weapons, while the latter are the Troll ' magic-based units.
They usually provide support from behind the lines.
Therefore, they don't really understand military strategy and tactics.
Kaostin stepped forward; as the Grand General of the Amani Clan, he was quite knowledgeable about military tactics.
Kaostin carefully examined the map and gradually gained a better understanding of the situation.
"We can send Shadow Hunter to sabotage the elven camp first."
"The objective is to destroy their supply facilities."
"Of course, the elves won't risk their lives against us just because their supplies are destroyed."
"The Shadow Hunter has one more thing to do: the night before the operation, go to the elven camp and capture a few soldiers."
"Kill them and hang their bodies on the trees. This will increase the number of the elven pursuit force."
"And the distraction force we send out must be fast."
"The elves will become angry at our actions and will vent their anger on the enemy forces."
"Therefore, we must attract troops quickly, but not too quickly."
"If we go too fast, the elf pursuit force will give up chasing us."
"As for the three groups of Smolderthorn, Mossflayer, and Firetree lying in ambush in the forest, they will remain as planned."
"However, after dealing with the pursuing forces, we need to slow down our clan's forces on the way to rendezvous."
"And we can incite them to desecrate the elves' corpses, and then make them face the elves' wrath."
"Let the other three races lead the charge, and rely on the power of the elves to weaken their forces."
"After the war ends, we can promise the Mossflayer Clan a new place to live in exchange for his joining us."
"The reduction in personnel and the survival of the clans are two major obstacles that will inevitably force Krongsai to compromise."
"Although it's a bit underhanded, it's still a good method, at least much better than direct control." After saying that Kaostin glanced at Bandersson.
"Ennoka, the chieftain of the Smolderthorn Clan, is a battle maniac. Let him die in this battle, losing our chieftain along with the deaths of our elite troops."
"At that time, without a leader, the Smolderthorn will be nothing more than a lump of meat to be slaughtered."
"Chief Zakas of the Firetree Clan has no good ideas. If all else fails, he'll have Shadra engage in a glorious duel with him."
"Shadra's power is sufficient to kill him. Although his death will deprive the Forest Troll of a powerful Warrior, it is insignificant compared to the unification of the Forest Troll."
"This is much better than using magic."
"You have a problem with my method? Although Shadra didn't agree, that's not something you can deny!" Bandersson retorted directly.
Although his expression was hidden behind the wooden mask, his eyes revealed anger.
"I'm just stating a fact," Kaostin retorted, unfazed.
"The truth? Don't forget that Lord Shadra hasn't agreed to your plan yet," Bandersson said.
"Alright, stop arguing!"
"You are all my trusted confidants, all my brothers, why are you arguing among your own family?" Shadra quickly stepped in to smooth things over.
"Alright, Kaostin, you can continue." Shadra waved his hand, signaling Kaostin to continue.
"Now that we've covered the luring and ambush forces, it's time to move on to the harassment forces," Kaostin continued, having received a signal from Shadra.
"A harassment force composed of Witherbark, Vilebranch, Drybark, and some other small and medium-sized clans is responsible for harassing the remaining large group of elves."
"We can send a unit to join the harassment force."
"The three clans of Witherbark, Vilebranch, and Drybark will definitely send their remaining smaller clans as the main force to preserve their clan's strength."
"This is when we can send some soldiers to join the harassment force to relieve the pressure on the smaller clans."
"This will gain the favor of smaller clans, although they will be severely weakened after this great battle, even with our help."
"They will definitely be crippled or destroyed."
"When Shadra proposes the merger again, most of them should agree."
"A clan that is already crippled cannot survive in this forest, let alone the elite troops they brought."
"A clan that has lost so many skilled warriors cannot support such a large population."
"Their fate is only twofold: either they join the forest or they are swallowed up by it."
"How to weaken the three races of Witherbark, Vilebranch, Drybark is a problem."
"We can exploit Azaxi's weaknesses to annex the Vilebranch Clan."
"His experiences have given him an insane need for food; a promise that he will never have to worry about food after joining should be enough to get him to join."
"The Drybark and Witherbark clans are the weakest of the seven major clans."
"So they are very good at changing their stance depending on the situation."
"Given the prevailing sentiment, they will agree."
With just a few words, Kaostin decided the fate of these clans.
