Ch. 245Red Caltryp Diamond

Jason and Linley tracked the robber’s clone to Windchime City to retrieve the Red Caltryp Diamond, while Jason suspected that Hongmeng might be steering events. Jason acquired the diamond and left the city with Linley and Bebe, still wary that a Sovereign was watching them.

  • Jason learned that the robber’s other clone was in Windchime City on the Qingya Continent, and warned Linley and Bebe that their trip might be dangerous.
  • Linley and Jason discussed the Four Divine Beasts Clan and the Sovereign who ruled the White Tiger Continent, while Jason kept Beirut’s identity secret.
  • Jason brought the city lord Reina to the robber’s mansion, then restrained the robber, took the Red Caltryp Diamond, and planted a Soul Seed in him.
  • Jason and the robber accepted Reina’s fines and expulsion order, after which Jason gave Reina a drop of Sovereign’s Might and left Windchime City with Linley and Bebe.
  • Jason killed the Soul-Seed-controlled robber outside the city and told Bebe that the diamond’s soul effect made it nearly as valuable to him as another Sovereign Artifact.

Ch. 246Sovereign Teresia

Jason, Linley, and Bebe faced Sovereign Teresia, who demanded the treasure they had found on the Qingya Continent. Beirut intervened and negotiated a settlement, then brought them back to the Yulan Continent, where Jason kept the treasure’s identity secret.

  • Teresia confronted Jason, Linley, and Bebe and demanded the treasure they had obtained on the Qingya Continent.
  • Jason stalled Teresia while Linley summoned Beirut, who arrived and heard their account of the dispute.
  • Beirut offered a Divine Spark Weapon as compensation, but Teresia demanded Jason’s Following the Cycle of Reincarnation instead, and Jason agreed.
  • Beirut led the group back to the Yulan Continent and asked what treasure they had pursued, but Jason and his companions concealed its identity.
  • Beirut warned Jason to avoid Sovereigns who might use an offense as an excuse to take something from him.

Ch. 247Overgod Tokens

Jason secluded himself in the Silver Ring Plane’s Planar Prison to use the three Overgod Tokens to attempt a four-element Soul Mutation. He lost consciousness during the attempt, and Deity-level experts across the prison began converging on his location.

  • Jason traveled to the Silver Ring Plane, took control of its planar guardian, and entered the Planar Prison through a weak point in space.
  • He claimed the area around the weak point, drove away its residents, and built layered formations to protect a secluded chamber.
  • Jason recalled that experiments had shown the Overgod Tokens could help cause Soul Mutation but that their energy was finite and could be depleted.
  • He merged his four elemental clones and used the three Overgod Tokens as he began attempting a four-element Soul Mutation.
  • The resulting soul attack knocked Jason unconscious, and his Water Clone prepared to ask Linley for help if Jason did not awaken within a hundred years.
  • The Water Clone noticed that the Planar Prison’s Deity-level experts were converging on the chamber and wondered whether Hongmeng was involved.

Ch. 248Four-Element Soul Mutation

Jason faced attacks driven by Hongmeng’s influence as he used the Overgod Tokens to create a four-element soul mutant. After surviving a siege by Sovereigns, he watched his four clones awaken, completing the mutation.

  • Prison-plane inhabitants attacked Jason, so he tested the influence by asking Linley to observe how their companions reacted to news of his danger.
  • Jason ordered Linley to seal the Silver Ring Plane’s teleportation array, then killed every being in its planar prison when even powerful attackers refused to stop.
  • Beirut tried to seize Jason’s Overgod Tokens after hearing a command from the Life Overgod, but Jason, Linley, and Bluefire helped him recognize that he had been bewitched.
  • Teresia attacked Jason for the tokens, but Augusta intervened and protected him until Linley, Beirut, Bluefire, and dozens of Sovereign projections arrived.
  • Jason explained that he had used the three kinds of Overgod Tokens to create a four-element soul mutation of life, death, fate, and destruction.
  • A month later, Jason’s four clones opened their eyes as the assembled Sovereigns witnessed the mutation’s completion.

Ch. 249The Main Universe: The End and the Beginning

Jason gave the Overgod Token to Linley and discovered that mastering the four Rules had made the Subordinate Universe reject him. Hongmeng offered him a choice, and Jason went to the Main Universe with Veronica and Delisha, where he later reunited with Linley.

  • Jason tossed the Overgod Token to Linley, who assembled it and claimed the Crown of Life while battling Sovereigns for the Life Divine Sword.
  • Jason told the Sovereigns he could sense the Laws of Space and Time and felt the universe rejecting him, then vanished after choosing to yield to the force.
  • Hongmeng explained that Jason no longer belonged to the Subordinate Universe and offered to send him back or take him to the Main Universe.
  • Jason chose the Main Universe and brought Veronica and Delisha with him.
  • After countless years, Jason met Linley again in the Main Universe, and Linley said everyone missed him.
