Crimson Alliance, Leite City.
In a luxuriously decorated room at the Yalidoan Grand Hotel, Lancelot, Burke, Rui, and Cole sat together, chatting and laughing, clinking glasses.
With school starting, Lancelot made a special trip back to Leite City to catch up with some of his good friends.
Burke laughed heartily, holding his wine glass. "Haha, I doubt anyone would believe it if I told them, but Lancelot, the champion of the Joint Entrance Examination, actually toasted me."
"The champion of the Joint Entrance Examination, who could have imagined it back then..." Cole sighed, still feeling like it was a dream when he thought about it.
"Yes, when Lancelot won the final tournament two months ago, the entire Leite City was in an uproar. Countless citizens took to the streets to cheer, and Lancelot's image was everywhere. Even the leaders of the Alliance didn't receive this kind of treatment," Rui remarked.
"How can that be the same? Brother Lan is a native of Leite City, one of our own."
The three chatted away, with Lancelot occasionally chiming in, creating a lively atmosphere. The party lasted until the early hours of the morning before the four reluctantly parted ways.
Starting tomorrow, they will be heading to the South Sea, and no one knows when they will meet again.
As Nightfall, neon lights shone with iridescent colors. Lancelot, wearing sunglasses and a hood, walked down the street.
Given his current fame, if he didn't try to hide it, the entire street would probably be blocked by the surging crowds.
"Things have changed..." Lancelot sighed as he reached out and caught a fallen sycamore leaf.
Leite City hasn't changed, this street hasn't changed, but he has undergone a complete transformation, metamorphosing from an insect into a dragon!
"It's time to go back. Judging by the days, my weapon should be finished forging by now," Lancelot murmured to himself, raising his hand to lightly tap a button on his wristwatch.
A moment later, a black and red mechanical shuttle with eight streams of dark blue flames shooting out from below came to a stop in mid-air. The hatch slowly opened, attracting surprised glances from pedestrians on the street.
Lancelot leaped into the air and entered the shuttle.
"Back to Bolake City!" he commanded, reclining in his comfortable chair.
"Yes, Master!"
A child's voice rang out; this was the flying shuttle's artificial intelligence.
With a burst of flame, it soared into the sky and disappeared from sight.
The advantage of fame is that you don't have to put in any effort yourself.
Take this flying shuttle, for example. It was a gift from a famous company to Lancelot, without any conditions attached, simply to make friends.
Lancelot was no fool. There's no such thing as a free lunch. If you take someone's money, you're indebted to them. Once you accept the shuttle, it will be harder to refuse their requests for favors in the future.
But Lancelot knew even better that as long as sentient beings with emotions existed, human interactions would be inevitable, and having more friends meant having more options.
Moreover, he wasn't a cold and aloof person to begin with, so he readily accepted the shuttle sent by the company. From then on, the two sides were connected and gained a new connection.
Such incidents have occurred frequently since Lancelot became the champion of the Joint Entrance Examination.
He doesn't accept gifts from just anyone; instead, he carefully selects and establishes initial connections with some powerful or promising entities.
We've made some initial acquaintances, and we'll see how things develop further in the future.
Back at my place in Bolake City.
A large estate located in the suburbs, with a beautiful and quiet environment and complete exercise facilities.
"Master, your package arrived this morning and has been placed in the safe as you instructed."
"Okay, I understand!" Lancelot replied, walked to the safe, and after an iris scan, the heavy alloy metal door opened, revealing a silver-white metal box.
Upon opening the box, a pile of black metal pieces resembling feathers came into view, with extremely sharp edges and incredibly complex and precise energy circuits engraved on their surfaces.
Lancelot reached out and gently stroked the metal plates; they felt cool to the touch.
This is Lancelot's new weapon, crafted by the Kahn Province Equipment Department. It was a reward for winning the semi-finals and is Legend two-star legendary quality.
A ray of electricity shot out from the fingertip, landing on the feather-shaped metal plate and instantly triggering a reaction.
Sizzle--
Arcs of electricity flickered, currents cascaded like threads, and hundreds of feather-like metal pieces danced in the air, clanging and clattering. First, they formed a majestic steel cloak, then transformed into armor, and then into gauntlets, longswords, spears...
As the intensity of the electric current changes, these hundreds of metal feathers combine to form all sorts of shapes, ever-changing.
"Resembling a feather in shape, with a cold texture, and forged from alloy steel, let's call it the [Steel Feather Cloak]!"
Lancelot was pleased with himself and named his new weapon.
The Steel Feather Cloak was inspired by Electromagnetic Armor; he drew the blueprints himself and commissioned the Kahn Province Equipment Department to create it.
It has a total of 502 metal feathers, made of carefully selected materials, with excellent electrical energy conductivity and ever-changing properties.
It can transform into armor for defense, gauntlets, or a spear for close combat. It can also be combined into a firearm, using electromagnetic propulsion to fire Steel Feather like bullets...
With both offensive and defensive capabilities, and proficiency at both close and long range, he is a perfect fit for Lancelot.
When not in use, the Steel Feather Cloak can be disguised as ordinary clothing, but once a battle breaks out, it instantly transforms into a deadly weapon.
