"I intend to continue my travels on Planet Pandora," Fujia replied.
Fujia is not a pure-blooded Infinite Serpent, but a bloodline warlock from the Serpent Ring Family, who lives on Furuisike Island in the northernmost part of the Central Continent and belongs to the [Arcane Ring].
The Serpent Ring Family has a long-standing tradition: when a member of the clan reaches High-Rank Transcendent level of strength, they will go out to train alone for 100 years.
If one breaks through to the Legendary within 100 years, they can return to the family at any time and be officially granted the family crest symbolizing their identity as a member of the Serpent Ring Family.
If one fails to break through to the Legendary within 100 years, they will not be Gelie the bloodline genealogy. This means they will not be able to become a formal member of the Serpent Ring Family and will never be allowed to reproduce with members of the same bloodline.
Even if they later break through to the Legendary, they can only be peripheral members, with no chance to run for the family's high-ranking positions, let alone become the patriarch.
However, after breaking through to the Legendary, they regained the qualification to reproduce their bloodline.
In other words, the official members of the Serpent Ring Family must be Legendary creatures.
Furthermore, due to the extremely strict rules regarding bloodline reproduction, the descendants of this family all have very high bloodline levels, making it easy for them to become High-Rank Transcendent Lifeform, and a significant portion of them can advance to the Legendary.
It is easy to imagine how powerful the Serpent Ring Family is.
Upon learning of Fujia's powerful backing, Gustavo was puzzled that he had been ambushed by a dark Mage. Didn't his elders care?
After questioning Fujia, Gustavo finally understood the reason, much to his dismay.
When members of the Serpent Ring Family are training outside, unless it's a high-level suppression, meaning it's Legendary or higher-level expert, the clan elders don't care at all; whether they live or die is entirely up to them.
This is why the dark Mage dared to scheme against Fujia.
Even if Fujia died at his hands, the Serpent Ring Family wouldn't care, as they were both at the Tier Nine.
It can be said that the attitude of the Serpent Ring Family towards their offspring is completely opposite to that of the Dragon-Hunting Spider Clan.
If anyone dares to refine Gustavo into the Eye of Distortion, Spider Mom will twist that guy into a pretzel and then extract his soul to whip for ten thousand years.
Hearing Fujia's plan, Gustavo didn't say anything more. He glanced at Fujia, who had no hands, and then, on a whim, took out a box of magic crystals and handed it to him.
"This is..."
Fujia the box, opened it, and more than three thousand deep blue crystals came into view. A rich aura of water element spread out, like a babbling brook pattering on his face, bringing a refreshing sensation.
"It's yours. Buy whatever you like." Gustavo waved his paw, deciding to see it through to the end.
He's already invested six or seven million Ta Pound in Fujia, so what difference would another three or four million make?
"Thank you!" Fujia didn't understand the meaning of politeness at all and readily accepted the magic crystal.
Gustavo had already figured out his personality, didn't care.
To be honest, he's starting to like this guy more and more.
Otherwise, even with sunk costs, no further investment would be made.
"This room expires in two weeks, and I have to leave. You can stay if you want, and you don't need to tell me when you leave. Just leave a note at the tavern front desk," Gustavo said, before his body rapidly shrank with a series of clicking sounds.
It shrank to two meters tall, much smaller than when the Storm Claw was added, before finally stopping.
Then, Gustavo took out Fairy Puppet and started fiddling with it. Before long, Imp with wings on its back appeared in the room.
It has horns on its head, a body covered in keratin, covered in Demon Pattern, deep red eyes, exposed sharp teeth, and claws like spiral cones.
"Not bad, not bad. It wasn't for nothing that I specially collected so many demon genes. The modification was a great success." Gustavo circled the Imp, looking very satisfied.
Then he draped the Shadow Cloak over his body, making it blend seamlessly with his Thorn Armor.
Most Legendary equipment can be fused with its owner, but there is a limit to the number that can be fused at the same time.
After merging with the Shadow Cloak, Gustavo's body instantly turned red with a thought.
In the blink of an eye, he transformed into a red spider.
"That'll do. Red Spider paired with Imp, even if Raymon were reborn, he probably wouldn't recognize them, right?" Gustavo smiled smugly.
Having witnessed all of this, Fujia's eyes gleamed with a thoughtful light, and he learned a great deal from it.
"Alright, you can stay here. I'll be going now." Gustavo said, the light in his eyes quickly fading, replaced by a mischievous and spirited Imp.
The latter flapped its wings and landed on the red spider, then went straight out of the manor.
After leaving the Victoria Tavern, Gustavo headed straight for the western part of the Jilong Highlands, the territory ruled by the Demon Eye.
In this region, due to the presence of the Demon Eye, there are a large number of demon-type Transcendent. This is why Gustavo disguised the Fairy Puppet as Imp puppet for easier operation.
Silver Light's base.
As a force possessing two Ninth-Rank Transcendent Lifeform, the Silver Light is far more successful than the Storm Claw. Not only do they control multiple mines, but they also run a business selling hallucinogenic drugs, making a fortune every day.
On this day, Arthur was on patrol as usual. About half a month ago, he led the remnants of Storm Claw to join the Silver Light. He was warmly received by the male leader of the Silver Light, Aoduohā, and received very generous treatment. Since then, he has settled down.
Just then, a knight riding a reindeer-like magical beast ran over, "Lord Arthur, the leader has ordered us to assemble at the main hall."
"Understood!" Arthur replied, handing over the defenses to his subordinates before heading to the main hall of the Silver Light, which was also the council hall.
Compared to the stone hall of Storm Claw, the main hall of Silver Light is much more imposing. It is cast entirely in bronze and decorated with defensive Rune Array, with two rows of tall seats displaying various items.
Above them were two thrones carved from white jade, covered with the fur of a white bear and a black tiger. A man and a woman, both Ninth-Rank Transcendent Individual, sat on them. They were a married couple.
"Greetings, Your Excellencies!" Arthur bowed respectfully.
"It's Arthur! Today is a joyous occasion." Aoduohā stroked his thick beard. He was a Dwarf Race Transcendent, and his wife was a beautiful and dignified Elf Race. No one knew how the two of them had fallen for each other.
"What good news?" Arthur asked.
"Haha, two more friends have joined our Silver Light today, both High-Rank Transcendent individuals. Isn't that something to be happy about?" Aoduohā laughed.
Upon hearing this, Arthur quickly replied, "Congratulations, Chief, on gaining two more capable assistants."
"Alright, sit down. I'll introduce the new member to you all once everyone's here," Aomaha waved his hand.
Arthur found a seat towards the back, and soon after, all the high-ranking members of Silver Light arrived.
Aomaha clapped his hands, and the Imp puppet and Gustavo, disguised as Starscream, entered the hall.
Arthur's face stiffened. For some reason, he felt that these two guys looked familiar.
