The Land of Falling Stars.
In the Fallen Star Nest, siblings Mora and Bradley were fast asleep, surrounded by crystal-clear spider silk. This Spider Mom before she left, and although she would only be gone for a short while, she still needed to be on guard.
It can be said that Gustavo's cautious personality is largely inherited from his Spider Mom, and partly from his previous life.
Space cracked open, and the mother and child emerged from the Black Hole.
Frodo was bound like a dumpling in spider silk and hung below Gustavo's chest, his life force completely gone; his soul had been torn to pieces by his Spider Mom.
Gustavo left the body behind because he wanted to test just how powerful a puppet could be created from a Legendary body.
Although spellcasters are generally physically weak, Frodo is a member of the Demon Body School, and his body has been thoroughly demonized and modified, so his physical attributes are actually not weak.
They are at least no weaker than most Tier Nine warriors or knights.
Without such a powerful physique, how could this dark Mage possibly unleash all sorts of Legendary spells with his bare hands? The surging Magical Energy would tear him apart.
Most importantly, because his body was completely corrupted, Frodo's corpse served as a natural model, greatly reducing the difficulty of Gustavo's transformation.
Based on Frodo's corpse, and with the addition of a large number of gene fragments, it's hard to say how powerful Legendary will be, but reaching the Tier Nine is highly probable.
If he could truly create a Tier Nine puppet to fight alongside Gustavo, his overall strength would be greatly enhanced.
After returning to the nest, Gustavo didn't disturb the sleeping siblings. After saying goodbye to their Spider Mom, he hurriedly flew towards Caro Volcano in the northwest.
I couldn't beat that wretched Earth Flame Python before, but now that I'm strong enough, of course I have to take it down.
After Gustavo left, Spider Mom closed her eyes, preparing to take a short rest. But only a few minutes later, a spatial fluctuation appeared, ripples spreading like water, and then a middle-aged man with an exceptionally handsome appearance, dressed in a magnificent robe, walked out.
Sensing a familiar presence, Spider Mom opened her eyes. Upon seeing the middle-aged man, a flicker of joy flashed deep within her eyes, but she said sarcastically, "Oh, who is this? You actually know how to come back. I thought some guy had forgotten about us orphans and widows."
Spider Dad, the middle-aged man named Sylvain, gave a wry smile. He wasn't good with words, and he did feel guilty towards Spider Mom.
Back then, Sylvain was on an urgent mission abroad and happened to miss the Spider Mom giving birth.
When the Dragon-Hunting Spider gives birth, it will be in a weakened state. At that time, several of the Spider Mom's enemies will come looking for her, wanting to take the opportunity to kill Spider Mom.
Fortunately, the Spider Mom was cautious and prepared, but she was still seriously injured.
One of the four spider eggs laid was accidentally destroyed in a surprise attack by the enemy during the great battle.
Otherwise, Gustavo would probably have a younger brother or sister.
When Sylvain returned to Planet Pandora, he was consumed by rage and went on a killing spree, creating the "Night of Slaughter" that remains feared to this day by all the major powers on Planet Pandora.
That night, three Demigod fell at the hands of Sylvain, and two others were chased all the way out of the Elven Plane and have not dared to return to this day.
After this incident, in circles above the Epic, the term "Lord of Falling Stars" has become almost a taboo word, causing people to turn pale at the mere mention of it.
No powerful creature dared approach the Land of Falling Stars anymore, especially the stronger ones, for fear of once again provoking Sylvain's wrath.
However, no amount of Slaughter can bring back the dead children.
Spider Dad felt extremely guilty about this and didn't even dare to meet the other three children, only secretly watching them grow up.
Seeing her partner's expression, Index said nothing more; she had actually already forgiven Sylvain.
The Dragon-Hunting Spider Clan rose to power through Slaughter and lived a life intertwined with death. While the loss of her child pained Index, she understood that it was not Sylvain's intention.
"Didn't you say you were going to leave the Elven Plane for a while? Why are you back so soon?" Index asked.
Sylvain quickly replied, "We were lucky this time; things went smoothly, so we returned quickly. However, this is not my true form; my main body is still on its way."
"Oh? You've created a clone?" Index's eyes lit up as she scrutinized her husband, but no matter how she looked, she couldn't detect anything unusual.
Index initially thought the human form before her was Polymorph illusion conjured by her partner, but it turned out to be a clone.
"As expected of an avatar created based on divine bones, how strong is it?"
"Not as strong as my original form, probably Mid-Rank Demigod, approaching High-Rank Demigod," Sylvain replied.
"Doesn't that mean that even one of your clones is stronger than me?" Spider Mom's eyes widened.
Spider Dad just smiled and didn't answer.
He paused for a moment before looking at Spider Mom and saying, "With this clone, I can always be with you and the children."
"Tch, who needs your company?" Spider Mom scoffed, but the delight in her eyes betrayed her true thoughts.
Dragon-Hunting Spider are solitary creatures, but that's before they find a mate.
A significant number of Dragon-Hunting Spider live out their lives with a mate, and they will only have one mate in their lifetime.
If their partner dies, they will never look for another partner.
It is this loyalty to their mate that extends to their dedication to their offspring, thus creating a strong parent-child relationship atmosphere in the Dragon-Hunting Spider.
Sylvain hadn't called out the stubborn Spider Mom, she changed the subject, saying, "By the way, the Lord of the Free City just mentioned to me that you're planning to have the Second Brother join the Ashes?"
"That's right, why not add some? Anyway, with you here, what's wrong with us orphans and widows getting an extra set of resources?" Index said matter-of-factly.
Then Spider Mom added, "This guy's news travels fast. It hasn't been long, and he's already told you."
Hearing this, Sylvain shook his head helplessly. "The Lord of the Free City is always cautious and probably doesn't want to cause any misunderstandings. You should also avoid provoking him; when he gets angry, he's capable of anything."
After giving his wife a word of advice, Sylvain a moment and then said, "Since you want the second son to join the Ashes, then let him join the Blade of the Nether Moon directly. I'll have my men keep an eye on him secretly."
"The Blade of the Nether Moon?" Spider Mom's pupils narrowed. "Isn't that Ashes's assassination division?"
"That's right, the second brother has great talent, even far better than I was back then, but he's grown too fast and lacks experience. The Blade of the Nether Moon is a great testing ground for him."
"Alright, since you put it that way, let's do it that way. When the second child comes back, you can tell him yourself." Spider Mom yawned and pointed to the two siblings who were fast asleep. "Look, since you're going to stay with us, why don't you get to know the children first?"
"Okay!" Sylvain touched the bridge of her nose, moved slightly, and directly passed through space to appear beside Mora and her brother, looking at them with doting eyes.
