The Wulati Mountain Range resemble a long, winding serpent, its top entirely covered in snow, with a biting wind blowing. In the lower part, the east and west sides are clearly divided into two distinct sections.
To the west, the vegetation is lush and there are many wild animals. Although it is Savage land, it is full of vitality.
The east side is a different story. As far as the eye can see, there is only an endless expanse of desert, desolate and ruined to the extreme. Only the underground insectoid kingdom is quite lively and bustling, bringing a different kind of vitality to this barren land.
Riding his Four-Winged Pegasus, Xisi traveled at a leisurely pace. As they neared their destination, he patted the horse's head, and with the flapping of its two pairs of pure white wings, the winged horse let out an excited roar and soared into the air. Its golden mane shimmered brilliantly in the sunlight, captivating all who saw it.
As the altitude increased, Xisi looked down from the sky and saw that the original open-pit mine had been transformed into a heavily armed steel fortress. Anti-aircraft towers and Mage towers were scattered around it, and a large number of mech warriors patrolled the area. Hunting Hawk soared through the sky, their sharp Eagle Eye scanning all directions.
Further away, hundreds of thousands of slave races, such as trolls and goblins, are building a massive airport under the guidance of numerous human engineers and in conjunction with alchemical machinery.
Although the airport is still in its infancy and far from being fully completed, its scale clearly reveals Logo's ambitions. He is not satisfied with Sunset Jungle, but sets his sights on the entire Planet Oklo, and even the Elven Plane.
"Once this airport is completed, my Campbell Family will surely usher in a new round of rapid development..." Looking at the bustling scene below, Xisi felt excited and couldn't help but imagine the future.
After soaring through the air for a while, Xisi finally urged his mount to land. As Logo's younger brother, no one dared to stop him along the way.
Enter the steel fortress, pass through the wide metal passage, and take the elevator to the entrance to the Underdark.
The enormous, dark void was utterly black, silent and eerie, devoid of any light. To be precise, this passage could devour any light source. Logo had ordered the installation of lighting equipment, but it had no effect whatsoever; any light that appeared would instantly vanish.
After several unsuccessful attempts, Logo gave up on installing the lighting device, since it wouldn't have much of an impact, and he didn't have the energy to explore the secrets of the passage at the moment.
The Astral Realm holds too many unknowns. If we were to meticulously study everything we encountered, even the longest lifespan wouldn't be enough, and we'd easily become like headless flies.
Research needs to be purposeful, and satisfying curiosity also requires a path; otherwise, it's easy to go astray.
As they passed through the long tunnel, a pale, lifeless light shone on their faces, while at the same time, an invisible wave enveloped Xisi.
"Check complete, Your Xisi, please proceed!"
A serious middle-aged male voice reached his ears. Xisi looked up and saw a sphere about ten meters in diameter floating in the air.
This object is entirely black, with golden patterns covering its surface. Upon closer inspection, one can discover that these patterns are actually the edge lines of a crystal facet, within which flows a highly unique crystal energy. Through rounds of transformation, this energy evolves into extremely penetrating energy fluctuations, possessing ultra-high precision detection capabilities.
This is the surveillance device that Logo bought from the Planet Guta. It can detect Legendary life forms that are disguised and infiltrated with almost 100% accuracy, and Epic life forms also have a certain probability of being detected.
There are three sets of warning devices, which are respectively placed at the entrances of the passages in three Underdark.
Outside the passage stood two imposing Mage towers, and atop those towers were massive Magical Energy cannons.
By instantly drawing energy from the entire Mage tower, these Magical Energy cannons can unleash attacks capable of severely crippling Legendary figures. With two cannons working in tandem, a single misstep could mean the fall of even Legendary.
Glancing at the towering cannons on either side, Xisi rode his Four-Winged Pegasus straight to the central area of Underdark.
On the way, Xisi looked around at the ever-changing environment.
He hadn't been to the Underdark for a few days, and the changes here almost made him not recognize it.
On both sides of the wide, flat road, there are tall factory buildings that stretch out to the east and west for an unknown distance, seemingly without end.
Transport vehicles came and went, bringing in various raw materials and taking away large quantities of finished products from the gold refining industry.
In just a few months, this Underdark has become an alchemy factory with extremely high production capacity.
Putting aside others, even Xisi himself finds it unbelievable whenever he thinks back on it.
He couldn't understand how his brother Logo had managed to design and construct this well-functioning alchemy factory in such a short time, with almost no mistakes, as if someone had been guiding him in the dark.
Shaking his head, Xisi continued walking forward.
Suddenly, a group of young Dark Elf dressed in loose black and gold uniforms walked past him, with several Gendaya People mixed in among them. They seemed to be quite familiar with each other.
"Logically, I should be one of these people, but unfortunately, my brother has given me too many tasks, and I don't have time to go to school."
Xisi looked at the crowd walking past him with a hint of envy. These little guys were all students of the Heavenly Eye Alchemy Military Academy. It was the time when school was letting out, and groups of three or five students kept walking by the roadside.
Hello, Teacher Hu!
Just then, a series of childish shouts came from afar. Xisi's expression changed slightly, and he looked over.
All that could be seen Crassus walking through the crowd with his head held high and a serious expression, nodding in response from time to time, looking quite imposing.
"Hey, Crassus!" Xisi waved.
A flash of green, Crassus was already beside him. "What? Here to report to the boss again?"
Xisi nodded. "That's right. Does my brother have time?"
"I don't know. Today, the boss is going to help Caesar fuse the inheritance crystal. We'll see how this goes. If the fusion goes smoothly, he'll probably be free to help soon. If it doesn't go smoothly, then you'll have to wait a while longer," Crassus said, shaking his head.
"To fuse the Legacy Crystal with Caesar? Is that the Legacy Crystal that my brother bought at the auction on Planet Guta for 3.05 million Ta Pound?" Xisi asked in surprise. "Wasn't it said that this crystal was strange?"
"Hmm, there is something strange, but after the boss's inspection, it has no effect on Caesar; on the contrary, it's beneficial..." Crassus muttered with envy, "That foul-mouthed Caesar is too lucky. He's only been born a short time, and he's about to receive another super buff."
Xisi smiled but remained silent.
"Alright, that's enough. Let's hurry over there and see if there's anything we can do to help the boss."
"OK!"
