Above the sky.

The Berserk winds raged like sword blades and storms, and the chaotic spatial magnetic field caused by the intense energy fluctuations created a variety of disordered force fields.

In this seemingly hopeless environment, several terrifying auras are locked in a standoff.

A ghost riding a black skeletal warhorse, an ancient dragon that has taken on human form but has a single horn on its head, a multi-eyed giant scorpion surrounded by yellow sand, and a black cat the size of an ordinary house cat with three tails.

These are the four major lords of the southern coast of the Dawn Continent.

Opposite the four Demigod lords was the Holy See's Inquisition Knight Commander, Golden Lion Jiesili. The latter wore golden battle armor, his wild golden lion mane billowing in the wind as he leaned back, holding a black and gold spear upside down. From the tip of the spear, blood imbued with a strong divine aura dripped down—the blood of Leyn City.

"Anthony is truly ruthless. To eliminate dissidents, he actually colluded with external enemies to kill one of our own top experts. If you hadn't suddenly launched a sneak attack, we really wouldn't have been able to kill this top expert who had touched the path to Divinity Sublimation." The Mist Lord spoke, her voice languid and alluring. Combined with her mature and seductive figure and her stunningly beautiful face, she was truly a top-tier mature woman.

"Heretics deserve to die!"

After his cold, curt words, Jiesili swung his spear, blood flying from its blade, its gleaming edge incredibly menacing.

He raised his head, glanced around, and then fixed his gaze on the Three-Tailed Black Cat that was licking its paws. His previously nonchalant expression became serious.

The other three lords were not surprised to see this.

After all, of the five Demigod present, only the Sunset Lord and Golden Lion Jiesili were High-Rank Demigod; the other three were far inferior.

Given this Golden Lion's arrogant nature, the only ones it would take seriously are those who are strong at the same level.

"Leave the Mist behind, Dusk and death, you will hold the line," the Sunset Lord said lazily, licking his paws.

Upon hearing her words, the Dusk Lord and the Death Lord left without hesitation, while the Mist Lord revealed its true form: a colossal green dragon ten thousand meters long, its body resembling a giant mountain made of emeralds, lying to one side. Its slender dragon tail was curled into a ball, surrounding the person and the cat, and its two golden vertical pupils hung above like the sun, exuding an overwhelming sense of oppression.

Golden Lion Jiesili's eyes turned cold, and he was about to make a move when a sharp cat claw pressed against his chest. "Little lion, don't move..."

'Such speed!' Golden Lion Jiesili's pupils shrank. He hadn't even noticed how the Sunset Lord had approached him, and his Demigod domain hadn't stopped the latter in the slightest.

"As expected of the top assassin in the Elven Plane, impressive," Golden Lion Jiesili said coldly. "But are you sure you can stop me?"

"You can try it. Perfect, I'd like to see just how indestructible the Invincible Golden Body of Demigod knight really is." The Sunset Lord's tone remained indifferent, his brownish-yellow pupils staring directly at Golden Lion Jiesili. Although his body had shrunk considerably, his aura was in no way inferior.

"Hmph!" Golden Lion Jiesili snorted coldly, but made no move.

Seeing this, the Sunset Lord's mustache curled into a beautiful arc. He lowered his claws, arched his back, and stretched. "That's more like it. It's not easy to grow to our level. Fighting and killing is so boring."

Upon hearing this, Golden Lion Jiesili's lips twitched slightly. If he remembered correctly, the number of creatures that had died at the hands of this cat was enough to fill an entire planet. For such a ruthless creature to utter such words was truly incongruous.

The falling corpse of Leyn City instantly drew the attention of all the experts on the battlefield.

After a series of shocks, the entire battlefield exploded like water being added to a pot of hot oil, crackling and popping all at once.

The Leyn City was thrown into chaos.

The morale of the four lords surged.

The war, which had been in a precarious stalemate, underwent profound changes in a short period of time.

"I never imagined that Leyn City would die." The old count looked shocked and incredulous.

This was a powerful being at the level of High-Rank Demigod, a top-tier figure even in this plane, a big shot wherever he went. It's strange that he died so suddenly, especially since the war had only just begun.

Unlike the old count, Logo had already guessed this, and therefore easily accepted the fact.

"It seems you know something." The old count was very familiar with Logo and noticed the unusual expression on the latter's face.

"Hmm, I have some guesses." Logo nodded, piloting the Sky Eagle Mecha.

What guess?

"It must have been the Pope who did it."

"What? The Pope? You're not mistaken, are you?" the old count exclaimed in shock.

"That should be correct. I specifically investigated Leyn City's intelligence. He is a staunch believer in the Dawn and one of the pillars of the Dawn Empire's Hardliner Faction. He has always been a thorn in the side of the Royalist Faction."

"That's not necessary. Kill him, is it? Even if the Dawn Empire has many Demigod, this is a High-Rank Demigod, which is considered peak individual combat power, right? Is the Pope really willing to give him up?" The old count still couldn't understand.

"Otherwise, why do you think Anthony Douglas is called the most powerful pope? He's a complete political creature. In his eyes, there are only gains and losses. Once he has weighed the values and made a decision, he will carry it out without question!"

"You mean, the existence of Leyn City is hindering the Pope?" the old count asked thoughtfully.

He's been abandoned!

Logo nodded slightly, then looked up at the sky. Under the gaze of his Eye of Insight, the chaotic environment, which was enough to obscure any detector, was not enough to hide the few figures within it.

' Golden Lion Jiesili!'

Upon seeing this man, Logo became completely certain that the fall of Leyn City was the work of the Pope.

'A massive purge!'

"Hiss..." The old count gasped, a strange fear rising within him of the pope he had never met before.

"Factional struggles! Politics is a life-or-death struggle, just as I thought!" Unlike the old count, Logo gained more insights. Compared to the Pope, his methods were still somewhat immature.

'Yes, I need to study harder!'

"So what do we do next?" the old count asked after composing himself.

"Nothing else, continue the attack. With Leyn City fallen, the four lords should be able to free up some forces. With their high-level military strength joining the fray, the advance of the battle lines should be much faster."

"But the Holy See should also provide support, right?"

"They will provide support, but deploying troops will take time. If we make good use of this time difference, we might be able to achieve good results."

"Okay, whatever you say!"

After the conversation ended, the old count donned his equipment and returned to the main battlefield. Logo, on the other hand, first installed the information base station to ensure the Sky Eagle Mecha had uninterrupted signal before joining the battle with his personal guards.

After Leyn City's death, the battlefield became even more chaotic.

Unexpected situations can occur at any moment, and you will encounter all sorts of enemies.

A Mage' legion with terrifying swarm attack capabilities, executioners with exceptional individual combat strength, and terrifying beasts kept by the Dawn Empire...

Each battle allowed the Sky Eagle Mecha to collect a large amount of data, continuously improving its database. Under Logo's Divine Power interference, the Consciousness Seed also matured rapidly, steadily enhancing its autonomous combat capabilities. Logo's mental energy expenditure here was also greatly reduced.

at the same time.

Leyn City Logistics Base.

With a cold expression, Nelson hurried through the heavily guarded metal corridor to the spacecraft launch platform.

Because Leyn City had granted him high-level access before his death, Nelson traveled without hindrance.

After boarding the shuttle, the command was quickly given, and the shuttle slowly left the port. After the engine finished warming up, it gave a slight tremor and jumped into the intricate spatial interlayer.

Not long after, an armed squad caught up with them.

"He got away!" the leader said coldly.

"They must have known about the deaths of Gaite Locke and Kaierman, which is why they ran away," the person beside him said quietly.

"Should we still chase after them?" another person asked.

The leader glanced coldly at his subordinate, his tone icy, "We've received a death order: bring Nelson back at all costs. His importance is no less than that of five elite army groups. Moreover, Kaierman likely passed on some classified information to Nelson before he died."

"But the environment in the interdimensional space is too complex, and we can't get a more advanced aircraft in a short time, so..." The subordinate looked troubled.

The leader pondered for a moment, then added, "If we can't catch them, we'll kill them on the spot; that counts as completing the mission."

"Understood!" the others immediately replied.

Soon, the three shuttles were warmed up, and the group boarded them, following the direction in which Nelson had disappeared.

One hour later.

Space Detection Tower.

A minotaur approached. "Reporting, Your Excellency, reports from the front lines indicate that someone appears to be being hunted down in Leyn City."

"Oh?" Logo looked interested. "In which direction?"

"H185-J36-L123 Four-dimensional interval coordinates!"

"Alright, I understand." Logo waved his hand, thought for a moment, and then asked Crassus to summon Steward Luomu.

A moment later, before anyone could be seen, their voices were heard; a rough, booming voice resounded in their ears as Steward Luomu strode over.

"What's up?"

"Would Your Excellency be interested in taking a trip to the front lines?" Logo asked bluntly.

"The front lines?" Steward Luomu was taken aback. "What are you going to the front lines for?"

"Discovering treasure!" Logo smiled faintly.

In a certain dimensional space.

The chaotic spatial flow, like a surging undercurrent at the bottom of the sea, surged in from all directions.

Nelson piloted the space shuttle, desperately dodging the pursuers behind him, occasionally dropping metal capsules.

After the capsule left the shuttle, it quickly exploded, releasing terrifying giant monsters.

These giants came in all shapes and sizes, possessed no intelligence, and were driven only by an instinctive desire to attack. They were also incredibly tough and thick-skinned, making their pursuers look extremely disheveled.

Otherwise, given Nelson's appalling fighting ability, he would have been captured long ago.

"Damn it, just how many biological weapons has this Nelson created? And this capsule, why isn't it recorded in the data?" The leader was furious.

His subordinate quickly reassured him, "Captain, please calm down. Nelson is, after all, a biology expert. It's normal for him to have some trump cards up his sleeve. Otherwise, even with Gaite Locke's protection, he wouldn't be alive now."

Upon hearing this, the leader took a deep breath, said no more, and continued the pursuit in silence.

However, just as they were about to catch up with Nelson, a colossal beast with flying hair and burning crimson flames suddenly descended.

This is a terrifying being that seems to have emerged from Lava hell, possessing horns hundreds of meters long, eyes larger than houses, and iron hooves that seem capable of crushing everything—all of which speak to its formidable power.

"Inferno Demonic Bull!" The leader's face was grim as he uttered these words slowly and deliberately, through gritted teeth.

As soon as the words were spoken, the monstrous beast in front of them crashed into them with a deafening roar. Its massive, mountain-like size and the terrifying flames swirling around it even dispelled the surrounding spatial turbulence, creating a wide passage with its sheer physical strength.

Clearly, Steward Luomu also had a fiery temper; he was decisive and never wasted words.

"You damned ox, you ruined my plans! Kill it!"

The leader unleashed his ferocity, drew his longsword, and a terrifying storm of sword energy condensed into a thousand-meter-tall pillar that crashed down. His teammates also attacked at the same time.

They are all at least Legendary level in terms of combat power, and the leader is even at the Epic level.

The two collided like meteors, unleashing a Destruction wave of energy.

"That was great, let's do it again!!"

Chief Steward Luomu roared, his bull eyes turning bloodshot, a sign that the fighting spirit of the Inferno Minotaurs race had been fully unleashed.

It's obvious that Your Excellency was really getting restless in the Space Detection Tower all this time, and once you're released, you immediately get excited and get into the zone.

On the other side, the pursuers sent by the Holy See, frustrated and annoyed by the sudden appearance of Steward Luomu and the loss of Nelson, attacked with ruthlessness. The two sides were like dry tinder meeting a raging fire, and the two sides immediately entered a heated state. It seemed that it would not stop anytime soon.

Logo observed for a moment through the observation device and, after confirming that the two sides were basically evenly matched, felt relieved.

"Boss, the person has been rescued," Crassus said in a low voice as he walked over.

"Bring him here."

A few minutes later, Nelson walked over with an indifferent expression.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Nelson."

Logo stepped forward and extended his right hand.

Although Nelson was aloof, he knew the meaning of being under someone else's roof, so after extending his hand for a brief handshake, he hesitated and said, "You are...?"

"Logo Campbell, the Maker of the Devouring Insect." Logo smiled smugly.

"Oh? You created the Devouring Insect?" Nelson's eyes lit up, and he began to scrutinize the person in front of him.

"What? Surprised?" Logo raised an eyebrow.

"Hmm." Nelson nodded, surprised. "Incredible! Your life cycle is so young, like the rising sun, yet your wisdom puts me to shame. I thought I was competing with a seasoned scholar of life, but I never expected..."

"Of course, my boss is a super genius that's hard to find anywhere in the world." Crassus looked very proud, his tiger-like face full of pride.

Nelson nodded repeatedly. "That's right, he is indeed the most talented researcher I've ever met."

The voice was sincere, clearly coming from the heart.

These words immediately caused Crassus's eyes to narrow, and his gaze towards Nelson softened considerably.

"Ahem, let's get down to business." Logo coughed lightly, then looked at Nelson in front of him and asked, "You escaped from Leyn City this time, you were probably being hunted down by people sent by the Pope, right?"

"Yes." Nelson nodded slightly.

"Besides your own knowledge, what makes them so eager to hunt you down? Do you possess some classified information?" Logo asked, narrowing his eyes.

"I have a partial defensive map of Leyn City," Nelson said without hesitation.

"Oh?" Logo's eyes lit up instantly.
