The Staphis Continent, also known as the Stafis Hub, is the most important logistics transit point in the Prado Universe System, where most major powers have offices.
With its extensive network of transportation routes, obtaining intelligence is much easier, making it a major hub for intelligence gathering.
If the various civilizations and powers of the Prado Universe System were woven into a vast network, then the Staphis Continent would be at the center of this network. From its center, it could radiate across the vast territory of the entire universe, making its strategic location extremely important.
Such a strategic location naturally attracted the covetous eyes of all civilizations. After years of war, none could gain the upper hand, and finally, with the intervention of the Spellcaster Association, it was turned into a public area.
As a result, in a short period of time, the Staphis Continent became exceptionally prosperous, making it one of the most thriving and vibrant regions in the entire universe.
The floating island above the Staphis Continent is called Sikaiqi Island. Due to its unique shape, it is more commonly known as Hexagon Island, and over time, its original name has been gradually forgotten.
On Hexagon Island, six major powers hold dominant positions: --
[Spellcaster Association], [Alchemist Association], [Starlight Tour Group], [Void Colosseum], [Mercenary and Adventurer Alliance], [Star Sea Bank].
These six powers are all well-known super-organizations in the Astral Realm, with influence spanning the entire Known Cosmic Sea, surpassing many advanced Astral Realm.
The area located on Hexagon Mountain is just a portion of these behemoths.
Even so, they are all under the protection of God Level power, Intimidation all directions.
It is easy to imagine how powerful these terrorist forces are.
Do they really think they can get the major civilizations in the Prado Universe System to relinquish this fertile land through mere verbal mediation?
Just kidding, it's not because my fists are big enough!
If they wished, any one of the six major powers could easily sweep through the Prado Universe System, which is why their position on the Staphis Continent is unshakeable.
Teacher Madison was an honorary elder of the Alchemist Association, so instead of docking at the port on the Staphis Continent, he flew directly to Hexagon Island.
After entering a large harbor, the pyramid was embedded in the track. Once stable, the hatch opened, and Logo and the others stepped out.
After leaving the pyramid, everyone felt a sudden weight on their bodies. The increased gravity, dozens of times stronger than before, caused them momentarily to feel uncomfortable. However, those present were at least Legendary beings, so they quickly stabilized themselves thanks to the Sanctuary.
"The pressure here is so strong. Not only is the gravity immense, but even space itself is imprisoned by a mighty force, and it seems we can't fly..." Crassus stomped his paw, feeling the hard ground, and grimaced as he spoke.
Madison laughed, "Hexagon Island is the heartland of the six major powers, an absolutely safe zone. No open Slaughter are allowed, and abilities such as flight and teleportation are completely restricted. Unless you have a special pass, you have no choice but to walk."
"I see. Then it must take a long time to walk there. Isn't Hexagon Mountain quite big?"
"You can rent transportation here; the more expensive, the faster."
"Uh... no wonder it's the Astral Realm, the people here really know how to make money!"
The group chatted as they walked, intending to leave the dock.
Just then, several uninvited guests walked towards them. Upon seeing the leader, Madison's expression instantly turned cold.
"Ya Er Dun!"
A chilling voice rang out, Logo looked up to see a humanoid race with golden skin, snow-white hair, and two pupils in his azure eyes striding towards him.
"Heh, Madison, I thought you'd be a coward your whole life, hiding in the Elven Plane. I never thought even a turtle would leave its nest one day." Ya Er Dun crossed his arms, looking down at everyone because the Reno People were generally over three meters tall. His expression was arrogant and rude, mixed with a hint of jealousy.
"That guy from the Spellcaster Association, you arranged it, didn't you?" Madison asked, narrowing his eyes and speaking in an unfriendly tone.
Ya Er Dun nodded in agreement, leaning forward with a defiant and aggressive gaze, asking, "It was me. How does it feel to be tricked into joining the Myriad Star Wheel?"
Madison retorted without backing down, "As expected of someone you planted. A worthless piece of trash, with terrible acting skills, worse than a three-year-old. You're just like me."
Upon hearing this, Ya Er Dun's anger surged. He was not a good-tempered person to begin with, but he couldn't make a big show of it on the Hexagon Island. Besides, Ya Er Dun had his own plans, so he continued to exchange insults with Madison.
Two alchemy masters were arguing in the street, which attracted a large crowd of onlookers.
The scene was noisy and chaotic.
Logo remained silent, observing the scene with a calm and indifferent expression.
However, though the tree may wish to remain still, the wind will not cease; a silent, subtle emotional fluctuation, hidden beneath the clamor and noise of the surroundings, spread outwards.
This fluctuation was so subtle that even Madison, Demigod, didn't notice it at all, clearly indicating that the other party was prepared.
"Submit..."
A mysterious and unpredictable mental fluctuation silently spread into Logo's mind, without even the slightest warning. A "seed of the mind" was quietly planted, and only then did this unpredictable fluctuation recede like the tide.
The entire process takes no more than five seconds.
Clearly, this was an extremely terrifying mind mage, at least at the level of High-Rank Demigod. Against a Legendary being like Logo, it was like hitting a mosquito with a cannon.
Normally, Logo wouldn't have the slightest chance to resist.
And that is indeed the case.
The bloodline clone was implanted with a "seed of the mind" without its own awareness.
However, what the psychic who made the move didn't know was that the person he was targeting possessed a terrifying talent: [Soul Informatization].
The main consciousness hidden within the Nirvana Tower, with the help of the Eye of Insight, immediately sensed something was wrong. The main consciousness retreated, leaving its clone consciousness behind to shield it from the disaster.
"Heh, you're already trying to ambush me as soon as you arrive, are you trying to enslave me? Fine, I'll play along and see who has the last laugh!" Nirvana Tower, Logo's main consciousness churned like waves, spreading a chilling aura.
Logo wasn't concerned about his clone being affected. Not only could his main consciousness take over the body at any time, but his bloodline clone only needed one [Soul Informatization] to transform the soul with the "heart seed" planted into an information stream, and the heart seed would naturally be filtered out.
Don't forget, in his informational state, Logo is immune to all physical and spiritual damage.
The Mind Mage is essentially Transcendent profession formed by the fusion of the Soul and Charisma systems; neither can be dispensed with.
But Logo didn't do that; he wanted to lull his opponent into a false sense of security.
By feigning weakness to the enemy and hiding oneself in the shadows, one can achieve a surprise attack.
After exchanging insults, Madison and Ya Er Dun left each other with harsh words, and the meeting ended on bad terms.
The crowd then dispersed.
Madison immediately took out a detector to scan Logo and the others, but found nothing.
"Phew... it seems I was overthinking it. Did Ya Er Dun just come here to cause trouble?" Madison frowned as he thought, but something still felt off.
Seeing this, Logo did not reveal that he had been mentally enslaved.
The reason is simple: if Madison knew about this, he would definitely seek out a spiritual master immediately to free him from his enslavement.
As for Logo's claim that he is immune to mind control, Madison is unlikely to believe it and will only think that this is a phenomenon where the mind has been enslaved and the consciousness is no longer under control.
After all, it's too absurd for Legendary figure to resist Demigod- level mind sorcerer.
Even if it's just out of a sense of caution, Madison wouldn't take the risk.
Even if Madison is persuaded by Logo, a thorn will remain in his heart, and he will subconsciously be wary of his apprentice, making a rift between them highly probable.
Logo understood this well: don't overestimate the relationship between them.
He respects Madison, but he won't abandon his own opinions!
Meanwhile, on the other side...
After creating some distance between himself and Madison, Ya Er Dun eagerly asked the person beside him telepathically, "Suoerqi, how is it?"
Suoerqi, nicknamed "Dream Demon," smiled calmly and said confidently, "How could I possibly fail when I personally deal with a Legendary little guy?"
"Great!" Ya Er Dun was very excited, rubbing his hands together and saying, "It wasn't in vain that I went all the way from the other side of the universe to invite you here. You have no reputation on the Staphis Continent, so Madison will definitely not know you and won't be on guard. In this way, we have won the first round and planted a spy next to him..."
"Now that things have come to this," said the Nightmare Suoerqi. "shouldn't you tell us what kind of opportunity Madison has seized?"
"I really don't know, but what's certain is that for a piece of trash to rise to become an alchemy master comparable to High-Rank Demigod, this opportunity is absolutely extraordinary, it could very well be a divine inheritance!" Ya Er Dun's eyes gleamed, greed filling his heart. "That piece of trash Madison has achieved so much with this opportunity, if it were me, I might already be a god! Those damned natives, they shouldn't have dragged him into the adventurer's party in the first place!!"
For years, Madison's opportunity had become a thorn in Ya Er Dun's side, especially after he saw a guy he thought had no future become his equal, despite his noble royal blood. This thorn in his side grew stronger and stronger. Now, Ya Er Dun's soul would not be at peace until he got rid of Madison.
Suoerqi was not satisfied with Ya Er Dun's answer, thinking that the former did not want to tell him, but he did not ask any further questions. After all, Suoerqi was an employee, and such opportunities had nothing to do with him.
After dealing with the Dream Demon Suoerqi on his right, Ya Er Dun turned to look at a Reno People on his left. This was his cousin Samuel, a member of a collateral branch of the Raynor royal family.
"Samuel, how long until the 13th Prince's ship arrives?"
Samuel glanced at the time and said, "About 20 minutes."
"There's still time. Let's get there immediately. We can't leave a bad impression on the 13th Prince." As he spoke, Ya Er Dun quickly straightened his clothes and led the two to the other side of the dock.
Traveling by specialized vehicles, hundreds of times faster, Logo and his group quickly left the dock and headed straight for the Alchemist Association.
Despite being called an island, Hexagon Mountain is actually quite vast. It took the group more than an hour to reach the enormous hall where the Alchemist Association was located.
Above the magnificent palace gate, which stands a thousand meters tall, are engraved alchemical totems of various shapes.
Alchemists, dressed in different types of alchemical robes, came and went, each wearing a circular alchemical badge on their chest as a mark of their identity.
In the Alchemist Association, alchemists of different ranks wear corresponding badges.
The badges issued by the Alchemist Association are uniformly circular and consist of two parts: an outer circle and an inner circle.
The outer ring features twelve dim stars, while the inner ring displays various patterns representing different types of alchemists.
For example, the Mechanical Alchemist's emblem is [a mechanical claw wielding an orange flame].
Pharmacy, emblem: [Green grass growing vigorously in the dim light of dawn].
The more symbols an alchemist has on their badge, the broader their field of alchemy research.
The colors of the stars on the outer ring of the alchemist's badge are not uniform; they are entirely determined by the alchemist's own wishes.
The colors included blood red, platinum, and azure, reflecting the alchemists' preferences.
The alchemy badge directly identifies the alchemist's rank and area of expertise in alchemy.
Madison had already worn his alchemy badge on his chest beforehand. The six lit stars symbolized his status as a senior alchemist, attracting many admiring glances along the way. Even other alchemists who didn't recognize him would nod slightly in greeting.
"Once you register with the Alchemist Association, you'll be issued an Alchemy Badge. But have you decided which branch of alchemy you'll register for?"
Did Madison know that his disciple was proficient in multiple branches of alchemy, including bloodlines, runes, potions, and spatial manipulation? If he registered them all, wouldn't his alchemy badge be completely filled with various patterns?
Given his apprentice's steady personality, he certainly wouldn't be so ostentatious. The nail that sticks out gets hammered down. Putting himself in his shoes, Madison would only choose one branch of the registration.
Logo did indeed answer with three words, just as his teacher had expected. "Pharmaceutics!"
