The Alpha Civilization's mother plane.
Fulaite, the Aegis Bureau., had just received a battle report from Albert, and after reading its contents, he was completely stunned.
"Upper God combat power? Lancelot is that strong? He single-handedly killed eight God Level dark Mage?"
Fulaite muttered to himself.
He rubbed his eyes and scanned the battle report several times, finally confirming that his eyesight was fine.
After patting his soft, round face to clear his head, Fulaite reported the news to Head of the Alpha Group.
The latter's reaction was exactly the same as Fulaite's.
After a long silence, a steady and powerful voice came through the communicator. "From today onwards, elevate the diplomatic priority of the Golden Divine Kingdom to the highest level, increase investment, and strengthen resource support. This is an opportunity for our Alpha Civilization. Do you understand, Fulaite?!"
"I understand!" Fulaite nodded solemnly. "Lancelot Infinity potential. Reaching the peak of the Upper God level is effortless for him, and he even has a good chance of advancing to the rank of Main God. If we can ride the chariot of a Main God, our Alpha Civilization will have an important layer of protection in this turbulent era."
"Very good, I will personally contact the Golden King and establish a strategic partnership with him. You are responsible for liaising with Lancelot. Be as respectful as possible, and show the same demeanor you would when facing me," Alpha instructed.
Fulaite nodded quickly in agreement.
After finishing their business, Alpha remarked, "The rise of the Golden Divine Kingdom is unstoppable, which is good for us, but some people will probably be quite unhappy about it."
Upon hearing this, Fulaite's eyes flickered slightly, and he tentatively asked, "Are you referring to the Eight Gods' Realm and the Crimson Moon Civilization?"
"More than!"
The leader of Alpha spoke with a cryptic smile, but did not reveal his true intentions directly.
Fulaite sighed, realizing this was yet another test from the Führer, and began to ponder with a frown.
His appointment as Aegis Bureau. was not solely due to the president's support; his own abilities were also outstanding.
A moment later, Fulaite had a flash of inspiration and said, "You mean the civilizations in the Prado Universe System?"
Alpha's leader smiled, and after receiving a satisfactory answer, he hung up the communication.
Eight Gods' Realm.
Dark Celestial Star.
Pale Veil Selwyn high on his throne, his face grave.
The dull footsteps approached from afar, and soon, the black-armored figure, Alaric, walked over.
"You should have heard the news by now!" Alaric said in a deep voice.
"Hmm." Selwyn nodded and sighed, "The Golden Divine Kingdom's power is now firmly established; this war is going to be very troublesome."
"Hmph, you're going to give up before the very end?" Alaric said discontentedly.
"What are your thoughts?" Selwyn shook his head. "It's too difficult for the two of us to kill a Upper God. The opponent isn't some stupid fool who can just take a beating; he can run away at any time. Don't forget, the Golden King's spatial artifact."
"That alchemy tower is indeed troublesome," Alaric said gravely. "The spatial confinement domain it released could actually cover such a long distance. Although I am not a space-type user, the fact that it could remotely restrict my movements definitely reaches the power of Upper God Artifact."
Selwyn frowned upon hearing this. "You know that, and you still won't give up?"
"Are you really willing to accept this?" Alaric retorted. "Azure Thunderstrike Darian is still in the hands of the Golden Divine Kingdom, and the Crimson Moon Civilization won't admit defeat either. I know their character!"
Selwyn's expression shifted, and after a long silence, he sighed, "Tell me, what other plans do you have? I'll go crazy with you one last time."
"Very good, this is the Pale Veil, the Lord of the Eight Gods' Realm." Alaric laughed, convinced he had Selwyn under his control.
"I need you to provide these resources to persuade a Upper God to help us."
With that, Alaric threw out an information crystal.
Selwyn took it, glanced at it, and readily agreed.
"I can pay, but are you sure you can summon Upper God?"
"Don't worry, the opportunity to kill Lancelot is very rare!" Alaric said through gritted teeth, emphasizing each word.
Selwyn nodded thoughtfully.
Wait for my news!
After speaking, Alaric left.
As he watched his retreating figure disappear into the distance, a strange smile crept onto Selwyn's lips.
"This guy is really easy to fool."
Shaking his head, Selwyn dialed a phone number.
A few seconds later, a voice that was neither clearly male nor female rang out.
"What's up?"
"How about I provide the manpower and you provide the money to assassinate Lancelot?" Selwyn said bluntly.
After a long silence, the person on the other end said, "Are you kidding me? Lancelot is on our side!"
"Heh, for the Alpha Civilization, the stronger Lancelot is, the better, because he can't threaten their core territory. As for the Prado Universe System, do you think the Golden Divine Kingdom will annex your territory after it rises?" Selwyn said coldly.
His words struck at the opponent's Achilles' heel.
After another long silence, a hoarse voice rang out. "Tell me your plan."
"With me, three Upper God, and a high-quality space-type Upper God Artifact, given Lancelot's demonstrated combat power, I'm 80% confident I can kill him, and 30% confident I can capture him alive!"
"Okay! But you must guarantee that the Eight Gods' Realm will not invade our territory."
"Don't worry about that. Don't forget, I'm still wanted by the Civilization Council. How could they possibly allow the Eight Gods' Realm to become a full member?"
"Okay. How many resources do you need?"
Selwyn glanced at the resource list provided by Alaric, doubled it, and submitted it.
"So many?!" The other side was clearly taken aback.
Selwyn said calmly, "You think it's so easy to hire Upper God? And two of them at that! Who's going to risk their life for you if you don't have money! I haven't even settled the cost of the spatial artifact yet!"
"Well... okay, we'll pay. The money will be transferred to your account within about two weeks."
"OK!"
Selwyn nodded slightly, and after a moment, the communication ended.
After sitting on the throne for a while, Selwyn dialed the communication channels of the Crimson Moon Civilization's higher-ups again.
He immediately declared, "I have gathered the power of three Upper God and am confident I can kill Lancelot. To prevent him from escaping, you need to bring out the ' Crimson Moon God Wheel '!"
How confident are you?
A voice came from the other side.
Selwyn thought for a moment and replied, "With the Crimson Moon God Wheel, I have a 70% chance of killing him; without it, I only have a 20-30% chance."
"We need to discuss this, please wait a moment."
"Good."
About ten minutes later.
The Crimson Moon Civilization representative said, "The Crimson Moon God Wheel will participate in this operation. We will send a Middle God -level expert to fight. He is a space-type expert and will not hold you back."
"Can!"
Selwyn had no objection.
He never expected that the Crimson Moon Civilization would entrust him with their clan's most treasured artifact; that would be incredibly audacious.
"Just wait, our people will arrive at Dark Celestial Star with the Crimson Moon God Wheel in about three days."
The call was disconnected again.
Selwyn's eyes were unreadable as he murmured, "We've done everything we could. If this problem can't be solved, we'll have to retreat."
