"Are you really not worried at all?" Hirahara Yuudai turned to look at Chiffon.
Chiffon chuckled. "Of course I'm worried. But I believe he'll be fine."
Chiffon firmly believed that. Midoriya was supposed to be the protagonist of this world, after all. Chiffon's arrival had merely caused some subtle changes. In the end, Midoriya was blessed with good fortune. Nothing would happen to him.
On the ring, Midoriya looked somewhat timid. Layer upon layer of people crowded around the stage, all discussing Midoriya Izuku.
"Isn't he just a kid? He should only be in high school, right?" someone in the crowd said in surprise.
"Exactly. My daughter is about his age, and she's in high school now."
"How did he get in here?" someone asked.
Someone in the crowd replied, "Isn't that obvious? Minors aren't allowed in here, but if you have a sponsor or connections, getting in is easy enough. I even saw a few high schoolers here a couple of days ago."
Listening to their discussion from within the crowd, Chiffon suddenly recalled why Himiko Toga could be here. Perhaps she had connections, or perhaps someone had brought her in?
Midoriya Izuku stood beneath the bright lights of the ring and looked down at the audience. He could not even make out the people below, because the lights were too dazzling. It seemed he could only see everything on the ring clearly, while beyond it was relatively dark. The stark contrast made the audience impossible to see.
He could not see them, but he could hear their comments. Just as Midoriya was lost in thought, his opponent climbed onto the ring.
"Kid, don't you know that coming here could cost you your life?" Huo Taishan Da said with a smile. Yet Midoriya did not find that smile friendly
