Background / History

Before meeting All Might, Izuku was an ordinary ninth-grade student and had not yet inherited One For All 1. Though previously Quirkless, he entered U.A. after destroying the entrance examination's giant mock enemy with a single powerful punch 10.

At U.A., Izuku initially struggled to use One For All without severely injuring himself. During Aizawa's Quirk assessment, he chose to concentrate the Quirk's power into his fingers rather than release it through his entire body, producing a 705.3-meter throw and proving he could adapt under pressure 13.

The League of Villains' attack on the USJ exposed how powerless Izuku felt beside stronger classmates and enemies. Chiffon's injuries while protecting the class became a major source of resolve for him to improve 35. Seeking practical experience, he later entered an underground ring at Chiffon's urging and defeated Huo Taishan Da by controlling his output more carefully 51 53.

Izuku fought Bakugo during the U.A. Sports Festival, where their longstanding rivalry became a direct contest of Izuku's growing courage and Bakugo's fear of being surpassed 107 108. He continued risking injury to protect others, including intercepting an alien creature's attack on Chiffon despite suffering devastating damage to his right hand 114.

After ten years of training and experience, Izuku returned to U.A. as an adult alongside Hero Class A. By then, he could use One For All at 100% and joined the effort to eliminate the forces responsible for Japan's Dark Age 442 443.

As an adult, Izuku is 1.85 meters tall, slightly taller than Chiffon. His physique is muscular and well-defined, though less massively built than All Might's 431.

Izuku intervenes against threats even when he knows he may be unable to win, such as protecting Chiffon from the alien creature and risking the destruction of his own right hand 114. Underground Heroes Venue

Under Chiffon and Legend of the Night's guidance, Izuku accepts an underground-ring challenge. Facing Huo Taishan Da forces him to use One For All with more control, leading to his victory 52 53.

U.A. Sports Festival

Izuku finishes second in the race behind Chiffon and later faces Bakugo in a brutal tournament match. Though badly injured, he refuses to concede and demonstrates a stronger will than Bakugo expected 97 107 108.

Alien Creature Battle

When an alien creature targets Chiffon, Izuku attacks without hesitation and suffers a catastrophic injury to his right hand. Chiffon subsequently gives him a Quirk Supplement to restore his body 114 115.

Dark Age Cleanup
