Divine Abilities
Liu Yi stretched at length. After the girls' massage, he felt wonderfully refreshed, and the fatigue from three days of nonstop derivations had vanished.
No wonder Little Yellow loved visiting brothels so much. He even took private jobs on the sly to earn money so he could come here and relax.
Liu Yi sauntered toward the entrance of the Drunken Spring Pavilion.
Just as he stepped outside, he saw Little Yellow running merrily toward him.
Liu Yi inwardly cried out that this was bad. His eyes darted about, and he immediately put on a stern face, covering three steps in two as he went to meet him:
"Little Yellow, you rascal! I was wondering why I hadn't seen you just now. I even went looking all around the Drunken Spring Pavilion for you."
"I thought you'd turned over a new leaf, but the moment I came out, I saw you running here again!"
When Little Yellow saw Liu Yi, he stopped in his tracks. His ears and tail drooped, and he gave two pitiful woofs.
"Don't play the victim. Come home with me, now!" Liu Yi reached out and gave Little Yellow a gentle pat on the head.
Who could have imagined that such a casual pat would stir up trouble?
Little Yellow's sensitive nose instantly picked up the scent of women's powder on Liu Yi, and he immediately began barking wildly.
He jumped and bounced, his drooping ears and tail snapping upright.
"Stop making a fuss! I only went in to look for you, and I accidentally got a little powder on me," Liu Yi hurriedly explained, keeping a stern face.
But when he caught sight of the looks people around them were casting his way and heard bursts of stifled laughter, he was instantly embarrassed.
Fortunately, Little Yellow couldn't speak yet. Otherwise, with him making such a fuss, it would have been even more humiliating.
Liu Yi forced himself to look calm and shouted, "Come home with me, now! Look, everyone knows I came to drag you back!"
With that, he ignored the still-fussing Little Yellow, turned, and strode toward the medical clinic.
After resting for a few days, Liu Yi had fully recovered his vigor and spirits. He decided to set about deriving a few Divine Abilities to protect himself.
He had now gained a preliminary understanding of the Great Dao Principle, and with the help of the Subsystem Computing Power Matrix, he was fully capable of deriving Divine Abilities based on the Principles he had comprehended.
These Divine Abilities might have limited power when first derived, but as his understanding of the Principles deepened, he could continue to improve and strengthen them.
Having thought it through, Liu Yi immediately got to work.
He planned to use the Time Principle, Space Principle, Five Elements Principle, and Yin-Yang Principle as a foundation.
He would combine them with other Principles to derive Divine Abilities for attack, defense, healing, and movement.
He would transform the power of these profound Principles into Divine Abilities that could be put to use in actual combat.
In the days that followed, Liu Yi studied the Great Dao Principle while devoting himself to creating Divine Abilities.
After a long period of exploration and experimentation, he finally succeeded in creating a series of Divine Abilities.
He created the Five-Colored Divine Light after the Divine Ability that had made Kong Xuan famous.
Legend had it that Kong Xuan's Five-Colored Divine Light could sweep away even a sage. Its power was terrifying.
This Divine Ability was rooted in the Five Elements Principle and the Space Principle, with the power of the five elements circulating without end.
Any Law Artifact or living being within the five elements could be drawn into the Divine Ability's space, making it a supreme method for trapping enemies and securing victory.
The Great Five Elements Destruction Divine Light and the Great Yin-Yang Destruction Divine Light.
The former reversed the cycle of mutual generation among the five elements, while the latter overturned the balance of yin and yang, unleashing destructive power.
Once unleashed, they were like the chaotic torrents that split heaven and earth apart, reducing everything in their path to dust.
The Yin-Yang Taiji Diagram had the Yin-Yang Principle at its core. Two black-and-white fish slowly revolved in the void, while Yin Qi and Yang Qi intertwined and flowed.
This Divine Ability could draw all things into the diagram to transform and dissolve them, as well as form an indestructible barrier to withstand attacks.
The Spacetime Divine Technique combined the mysteries of the Time and Space Principles, making his form ghostlike in an instant.
Its Movement Method was as fast as lightning, and it could also perform short-range Spatial Teleportation, allowing him to advance and retreat at will on the battlefield and leaving others unable to guard against him.
The Heaven and Earth Creation Technique brought together the essence of numerous Principles, including time, yin and yang, the five elements, and life. It was a sacred method for healing and recovery.
When used, it was as though creation itself brought rebirth. No matter how severe the injury, it could be rapidly healed by the power of the Divine Ability.
However, because his current understanding of the Principles was still shallow, the power of these Divine Abilities was far from earthshaking. He would have to spend time gradually refining and strengthening them in the future.
As the light of the Great Dao Principle lingering around him gradually faded, Liu Yi slowly opened his eyes and happened to catch sight of Little Yellow feasting nearby.
He waved a hand, sending a streak of Five-Colored Divine Light toward Little Yellow's food bowl.
In the blink of an eye, the bowl and the food within vanished without a trace.
Little Yellow stared at the empty ground, stunned for a moment. Then he barked frantically and spun in circles on the spot.
A smile curved Liu Yi's lips. He waved his hand lightly, and the bowl dropped back into place with a clatter.
But just as Little Yellow happily came over, the Five-Colored Divine Light flashed again, and the bowl vanished once more.
After this happened several times, Little Yellow finally realized that Liu Yi was behind it. He barked at him, his fluffy tail trembling with anger.
"Hahaha!"
Liu Yi burst out laughing, then went even further, using the Five-Colored Divine Light to make the bowl appear and disappear, repeating the trick more than ten times.
Little Yellow's fur stood completely on end. He leaped up and down around Liu Yi, then spun around on the spot in a frenzy.
Seeing how huffy he was, Liu Yi swept his hand out. The Five-Colored Divine Light abruptly flared and swept Little Yellow straight into the Divine Ability's space.
Looking at the effect of the Five-Colored Divine Light, he nodded in satisfaction, then let Little Yellow out again.
The next second, the light faded, and Little Yellow landed on his rear with a thump.
Liu Yi crouched down and patted his bristling back. "All right, all right, don't be angry. Go on and eat. I was only testing a newly created Divine Ability."
Little Yellow's eyes spun, and he suddenly began barking wildly with excitement, his tail tracing eager arcs through the air.
"What? You want to bind the Fairness System too?" Liu Yi stared at Little Yellow in surprise, instantly growing wary.
After all, Little Yellow was already quite a handful. If he bound the system, Liu Yi was truly afraid he would cause a major disaster.
"What exactly do you want to bind the system for? Explain yourself!"
As though he had come prepared, Little Yellow immediately barked at the top of his lungs without stopping, his claws excitedly scratching at the ground.
"You want to rely on the system to learn and cultivate faster, so you can break through to the Divine Sea Realm sooner and speak?"
Liu Yi stared at Little Yellow doubtfully. He found it hard to believe that this dog would suddenly come to love learning.
But on second thought, the reason he gave did make some sense.
After thinking for a moment, Liu Yi said seriously, "I can let you bind the Fairness System, but you have to cultivate diligently and break through to the Divine Sea Realm as soon as possible."
"If you can't do that, I'll uninstall the system. And you absolutely must not reveal on the system that you're a dog!"
Although the Fairness System did not appear to restrict users by race, in reality, only members of the Human Race could currently bind the system.
To avoid trouble, it was best to let as few people as possible know that Little Yellow had also bound the system.
Little Yellow nodded eagerly, his ears standing straight up and his eyes full of eagerness to please. Even his tail was wagging so fast it blurred.
A special System Seed shot from Liu Yi's fingertip and flew to Little Yellow's forehead.
After confirming that Little Yellow had successfully bound the system and was busy exploring its functions, Liu Yi paid him no further attention. He turned and left.
