These were no ordinary lobsters or crabs. These were king crabs and Boston lobsters!
She had just heard the server explain that they had been freshly caught and flown in that day, then killed while still alive. It didn't sound like something ordinary people could afford to eat.
She had never eaten them before. She hadn't expected to get a taste as a cat.
The smell alone made Ruanruan's legs go weak. It smelled so good, so good.
No matter what, she had to have a taste.

Su Qingzhi laughed at the way Ruanruan stared at the crab meat.
"Look at your cat. She was so quiet just now, but now she's staring at that crab like it's her mortal enemy. Is she afraid the meat will fly away?"
Chen Xiao added, "Even the fur on the tips of her ears looks like it's straining." It kept twitching.

Ruanruan's eyes darted around while Lu Linyuan wiped his fingers and chatted with the other two.
"I feel like if I'd been any slower, she could've bitten my finger off." Lu Linyuan was exaggerating, but one look at Ruanruan's face just now had told him she was truly dying for a taste.
In the blink of an eye, Ruanruan snatched a big, uncut strip of crab meat from the plate and darted to the other side of the table, where she dug in.

"Pfft-" Chen Xiao sprayed out a mouthful of water when he saw the kitten's swift, decisive move.
One second she had been unsteady on her feet, and the next she had shot off like a rocket.
Lu Linyuan got up, strode over, and grabbed Ruanruan to wrestle the crab meat away. After pulling it free, he checked her mouth. Good grief, he was too late. She had already swallowed it whole. He didn't even know whether she had chewed. With a mouthful that big, wasn't she afraid of choking?
"You-" Lu Linyuan looked at the crab meat with a huge chunk bitten off, then at Ruanruan, who was doing her best to look cute and innocent. "You really need a lesson." With that, he gave her two smacks on the backside, rather like someone lamenting that iron wouldn't turn into steel.
"Meow-" Ruanruan protested, refusing to accept it.
Su Qingzhi laughed and said, "All right, she's already eaten a mouthful, so let it go. We're eating and drinking to our hearts' content here. We can't just make her watch, can we? How could a tiny bit be enough? Either have the server take her outside, or, if I were this cat, I'd be frantic too."
Exactly, exactly. Ruanruan looked at Su Qingzhi, once again affirming his role as her mouthpiece.
Lu Linyuan put Ruanruan back in the cage and didn't give her any lobster meat either.
Ruanruan meowed in protest once again.
"Meow, meow, meow-" Where's my lobster meat? You're just going to pocket it like that?!
Seeing Su Qingzhi's heart soften and wanting to feed her a little more, Lu Linyuan stopped him. "Leave her alone. If she eats too much, she won't be able to digest it. Then she'll feel sick and have to go to the hospital."

Su Qingzhi said, "You make so much money, yet you're this stingy with a cat?"
