Chen Mo escaped Black Crow Castle’s deadly politics, reached White Stone City, and pursued a path into a mage tower while Eastern Xia sent him supplies through the altar. As Chen Mo sought help in Clear Marsh City, Peiwen’s party was ambushed by Moglu’s orc riders, and Peiwen killed their commander with Chen Mo’s thermite grenade.

• Chen Mo used a Bloodline Sacrifice to contact Eastern Xia, received supplies and encouragement, and joined Young Master Zircon’s expedition into the Demon Tree Jungle.
• Chen Mo used Xiaobai’s rifle to kill Young Master Zircon and Duo Gu, then survived Aili and Little Eleven’s attempts to kill him before fleeing to Six-Leaf Woodland.
• Chen Mo received treatment from Locke, boarded an airship with Commandery Princess Liushuang’s help, and traveled toward White Stone City after learning about mercenary life.
• Chen Mo obtained a mercenary badge, hired Josie and Little John as guides, and reached the Radiance Mage Tower, but several towers rejected him until the spring apprenticeship season.
• Eastern Xia’s Stargazing team recovered Chen Mo’s transmission, and researchers found that Drug X could produce remarkable results before Li Yunhai used it to wake Vice President Liu.
• Chen Mo received new supplies and equipment from Eastern Xia, then arranged through local contacts to meet Enchanter Vincent and sought early admission to a magic tower.
• Moglu’s orc riders ambushed Peiwen’s party, overwhelmed the guards, and demanded that Liushuang surrender as a guest.
• Peiwen attacked Moglu and was captured, but he used Chen Mo’s thermite grenade to burn the orc commander to death.

Chen Mo left the mage tower and joined Liushuang and Peiwen’s group, using weapons and support from his world to help them fight through enemy territory. After Peiwen and much of the group died, Chen Mo and Liushuang escaped Gaoshi’s pursuit and continued north toward Violet City.

• Chen Mo entered the Har Preparatory Mage Tower under Roy’s identity, trained under Morton, passed psionic enlightenment, and later revealed his real name before leaving with Liushuang’s party.
• Chen Mo traveled with Liushuang and Peiwen, traded grenades and other knowledge, and helped them evade the Zircon Family’s pursuit as war closed around them.
• Peiwen ambushed Gaoshi’s squad, and Chen Mo helped kill Tikpot before joining the Cloudmist group’s flight through the Dark Forest.
• Chen Mo summoned support from Eastern Xia, and the squad used loitering munitions, drones, and weapons to break through Green Pine’s camp and evade patrols.
• Peiwen led the party across the Crystal River and into Emerald territory, where he fought Kangna and the Fifth Knight’s forces before dying with the captured warriors.
• Chen Mo used a Big-Headed Eagle and firearms to repel an assault on the village, but the guard died, Linda was mortally wounded, and Locke was badly injured.
• Chen Mo left with Liushuang and the wounded Little White, using a Skylark patch bomb to distract Gaoshi’s search teams before escaping through the forest on the Flying Shuttle.
• Chen Mo and Liushuang fought off pursuers, crossed the Xinpo River, and headed toward Violet City as Liushuang mourned Locke, Peiwen, and Linda.
