A Few Things I'd Like to Tell Everyone
First, there's the title...
Some readers have clearly gotten the wrong idea. The Fruition Rank in the title has nothing to do with Xuanjian... This Fruition Rank was mentioned in the previous synopsis. It refers to the "Primordial Dao Fruit, Primordial Fruition Rank" often mentioned in older novels. It isn't a Xuanjian setting; it showed up quite often in old-school xuanhuan.
I feel that if this continues, some readers might end up with misplaced expectations.
For example, some readers might see "Fruition Rank" and think this is a Xuanjian bandwagon novel, then click on it and discover it isn't. That would be a case of misplaced expectations.
On top of that, the title isn't drawing much traffic, so I'm thinking of changing it.
But coming up with a title has always been a headache, even a fucking nightmare.
Qidian has a lot of readers, and everyone has different tastes. Some like four-character titles; others like longer ones that let them glimpse the keywords in the title. There's really no way to satisfy all you esteemed readers.
I don't even know what a good title would be, so if you esteemed readers have any suggestions, you can leave them in the comments or the chapter comments here. Let me borrow some of your luck.
The second thing is an explanation about this book:
First, let me be clear: I'm writing a xuanhuan progression wish-fulfillment novel. The key words are wish fulfillment.
This book is closer to a traditional xuanhuan progression novel, so I chose to open with a grotto-heaven, like Sword of Coming.
I think an opening like that is more interesting and easier to work with than starting in a martial arts school or at the bottom of a sect, including when it comes to what unfolds after the first map.
But only the map is the same. The plot will definitely take a different course.
After all, this book and the Chief Steward's are fundamentally different. Mine is a progression novel, while much of his is closer to a road novel.
Also, some esteemed readers think my early writing style is too similar to Sword of Coming, so they think I suffer from literary affectation...
Let me put it this way: my first book was fanfiction, a Dragon Race fanfic. It got a little over 200 first-day subscriptions and currently averages 11,000 subscriptions. It's one of the few completed Dragon Race fanfics on Qidian.
I naturally couldn't have achieved those results without "not having the disease."
Even with Dragon Race fanfiction, I managed to write a happy ending and make it wish fulfillment without coming down with the disease. You really don't need to worry that I will.
After Rebooting Life, I also wrote a cosmic high-martial novel that averaged 15,000 subscriptions. That was my first xuanhuan progression novel, and it did very well, but because I lacked experience, I made quite a few mistakes in the later parts. Even so, I never came down with literary affectation...
I hope this book can benefit from what I learned from the last one and maintain its quality from beginning to end.
This book has only just begun.
I think this book will be a great ride, no worse than the early parts of Bodhi Tree. Just thinking about some of the climactic moments I've planned nearly brings me to climax myself.
As for this book's updates, compared with others who launched their books on the same day, I've already posted tens of thousands more words...
Traffic for premise-driven novels is very poor right now. Most traffic for new books comes from the new-books chart, and once a book reaches 200,000 words, it has to leave the chart. So I don't dare update too quickly. Getting no traffic is a terrible thing, so I hope you big shots will forgive me.
This book will probably go premium after Lunar New Year's Eve. I hope everyone can keep up with the chapters in the meantime and come back to give it a first-day subscription when the time comes.
Finally, esteemed readers, if you have any good title recommendations, sorry for the trouble, but please tell me in the comments!

My thoughts won't settle. Many thanks!
