A Sudden Gout Attack
The group of people at the table began their meal in high spirits.
At the beginning, some people were alone, while others were in groups of two or three, and they took turns toasting the mentor.
Once the proper etiquette was observed, everyone relaxed. Some drank with each other, while others circled around, and in short, everyone drank quite a bit.
The alcohol evaporates with the heat, and even non-drinkers become dizzy under the influence of this atmosphere.
However, Su Ziyang's mind remained clear and lucid.
Liu Hua sat next to Su Ziyang. When Su Ziyang first noticed Liu Hua, he noticed that Liu Hua's expression was a little unnatural, but Su Ziyang didn't think much of it.
When you look at Liu Hua again now, Liu Hua expression has become extremely unnatural, and his smile is forced amidst the clinking of glasses.
"What's wrong, bro?"
Su Ziyang patted Liu Hua's thigh and asked softly.
As mentioned before, Liu Hua and Su Ziyang have a very good relationship, so Liu Hua didn't pretend in front of Su Ziyang. He lowered his head, frowned, and said softly, "Brother, my gout suddenly flared up. It hurts so much."
"Then stop drinking. What are you still drinking? What happened? I'd never heard of you having gout before. You've developed some problems in the last two years."
Su Ziyang said in a low voice.
"Ugh, don't even mention it. It hurts so much!"
Liu Hua's back was soaked with sweat. If you didn't know better, you would know that Liu Hua had drunk too much alcohol, which was why he was covered in sweat. Actually, he was in pain.
"Ziyang, Huazi, what are you two whispering about? Let's have a drink, the three of us."
A cheerful female voice came from behind.
"Hey, Sister Yueyue, come on over!"
Su Ziyang picked up his juice glass, while Liu Hua picked up his wine glass. The three of them clinked glasses and drank their respective drinks in one gulp.
"What's wrong, Huazi? You're sweating so much."
As they got closer, Sister Yueyue noticed that something was wrong with Liu Hua and asked him in a low voice with concern.
"It's alright, Sister Yueyue. It's just a bit hot in here."
Despite the pain, Liu Hua forced a smile and spoke to Sister Yueyue.
"Are you really alright?"
Looking at Liu Hua's expression, Sister Yueyue clearly didn't believe it.
Haha, it's really nothing!
Liu Hua emphasized it again, and only then did Sister Yueyue leave to go drink with others.
Everyone was having a lively time, and Liu Hua couldn't bear to spoil the mood, so he patted Su Ziyang's arm and asked Su Ziyang to come down from the table with him and sit on the sofa in the outer hall.
"Does it hurt that much, bro?"
Su Ziyang was very worried when he saw Liu Hua frowning and not daring to move.
"Damn it. I really need to watch my diet from now on..."
Liu Hua hugged her legs and leaned back on the sofa.
"Let me see."
Su Ziyang offered to take off Liu Hua's shoes, but even though they were best friends, Liu Hua was too embarrassed to let Su Ziyang take off his shoes. He could only hold onto Su Ziyang's arm and repeatedly say it was okay.
"Look at you, still pretending. Let me see, I'll treat you."
Su Ziyang pulled off Liu Hua's shoes and socks, revealing that her big toe was swollen and red beyond recognition.
"That serious?"
Su Ziyang looked at his swollen toes and exclaimed in surprise.
"Oh, it's nothing. Just drink more warm water later. It might not hurt as much tomorrow."
Liu Hua patted Su Ziyang on the shoulder, still pretending to be nonchalant.
"Alright, alright. Um, I'll treat you, just don't make a sound. Shh!"
Su Ziyang gestured to Liu Hua to be quiet.
"How will you treat it? Bloodletting? But we don't have any needles!" Liu Hua didn't know how Su Ziyang would treat it.
"I have my way, just wait a moment."
Su Ziyang gestured for Liu Hua to sit down, then went to get a disposable paper cup for himself.
Su Ziyang made a hand seal and drew it in the air on the paper.
Anyone who studies traditional Chinese medicine, regardless of their skill level, will know more or less about drawing talismans and chanting incantations. Liu Hua didn't know when Su Ziyang had acquired this skill.
However, he remained seated on the sofa, not daring to utter a sound. After drawing a talisman in the air, Su Ziyang dipped his middle finger into the water in the cup and gently applied it to Liu Hua's swollen toes.
Liu Hua felt a cool sensation, and the pain lessened considerably in an instant. The irritability caused by the pain also subsided considerably.
"Brother, what's wrong?"
Liu Hua stared wide-eyed at the disposable paper cup in Su Ziyang's hand and asked in great surprise.
"Shh!!!"
Su Ziyang gestured again for Liu Hua to remain silent.
The reason Su Ziyang didn't let Liu Hua speak wasn't because there were any taboos Zhuyou Technique, but because he didn't want to attract the attention of the people drinking in the room.
Because you can't see into someone's heart, Su Ziyang didn't want to show off his skills in public and cause a lot of gossip.
When Liu Hua saw Su Ziyang repeatedly telling him to keep quiet, he assumed there was some taboo surrounding it, so he remained silent, pursing his lips and sitting there without saying a word.
Su Ziyang tore off two tissues, poured some of the talisman water from the cup onto the tissues, and the tissues were quickly soaked.
Su Ziyang placed the soaked tissue on Liu Hua's still slightly swollen big toe, then took a clean tissue, placed it in his palm, drew another talisman in the air, and gently placed it on the wet tissue.
"Hey, where are Liu Hua and Su Ziyang?"
Just as Su Ziyang was about to continue the spell, he heard someone shout from inside the dining room.
"Oh right. Where's Liu Hua?"
The instructor's voice also came through.
"Liu Hua, Su Ziyang, this family can't possibly throw up yet, they haven't drunk that much. This is just the beginning!"
One of the senior students put down his wine glass and went outside to look for him. He saw Liu Hua sitting on the sofa, with Su Ziyang half-squatting next to Liu Hua.
"Oh my god, what are you two doing standing so close together?"
Another senior female student also ran out.
"Alright, bro. That's enough, it doesn't hurt that much anymore."
Liu Hua watched as the group ran out, patted Su Ziyang on the shoulder, and indicated that it was okay.
"It's okay, I'll fix it for you. It'll only take a few seconds!"
Su Ziyang pressed down on Liu Hua's legs, and Liu Hua could only obey Su Ziyang, sitting still and saying to the group of people who came over, "It's alright, senior brothers and sisters."
Since they were all doctors and none of them had drunk too much, they came over and immediately diagnosed Liu Hua's swollen foot. "Gout? Huazi, you need to take care of yourself. Is it very painful?"
"Oh, um, I have a box of colchicine and some ibuprofen in my car, I'll go get them for you."
Senior Sister Yueyue was about to go out to get medicine for Liu Hua, Su Ziyang gestured to her that Yueyue didn't need to.
"You have a way, Ziyang?" Sister Yueyue watched as Su Ziyang gently wrapped another layer of tissue paper around Liu Hua's toes.
I'll give it a try.
Su Ziyang didn't speak, but drew another talisman in the air on the white paper.
The group found it interesting to watch Su Ziyang dart around in the air, so they called everyone over, including their mentor, who also stood aside to watch Su Ziyang's actions.
