Navel-Warming Ointment
Su Ziyang took a disposable medical tweezers, made a small opening at one end of the egg, and then used the tweezers to clean away the remaining eggshell fragments.
The hole is just the right size to fit a person's finger.
Su Ziyang first poured realgar powder into the eggs, and then poured mung bean powder into the eggs.
"Come on, sister-in-law. Put your fingers in there and let them soak."
Su Ziyang handed the prepared eggs to Han Jinkai's wife.
Although Han Jinkai's wife found Su Ziyang's method a bit strange, she still obediently took the eggs.
He put his finger into the egg.
"Sister-in-law, move around a bit. That way the medicine powder will mix more evenly."
Su Ziyang told Han Jinkai's wife to wiggle her fingers in the egg, and then just let it soak.
Han Jinkai chatted with Su Ziyang: "Ziyang, I have a question for you. My classmate's youngest son has been having diarrhea for the past two years. He gets diarrhea whenever he catches a cold. The hospital said it's chronic enteritis. Do you know any convenient ways to deal with this?"
"You could try some herbal medicine to help regulate your body, or get a pediatric massage."
Su Ziyang felt that this problem was easy to handle, but he needed to see for himself what was going on.
"Hi. His family doesn't really believe in Traditional Chinese Medicine. You know, with all this fuss, I feel a little embarrassed to even tell you this."
Han Jinkai hesitated a bit before speaking, at which point his wife Yunyun Han Jinkai Yunyun advice; I talked to her about it last time, and she said she could have Ziyang take a look."
"Brother, what I mean is, do you have a simple and easy way, like something that doesn't require medicine, just an application, or something like that? That way, he'll be subdued and won't have to listen to us anymore!"
Anyone who can be friends with Han Jinkai must be either rich or powerful; the meaning behind Han Jinkai's words is self-evident.
When Su Ziyang first heard that the person didn't believe in traditional Chinese medicine, he didn't want to get involved. However, after recalling the lesson Fairy Li had taught him that day, Su Ziyang actually thought it was worth a try.
I have a good method that will definitely work.
Thinking of this, Su Ziyang chuckled and said, "Brother Han, I actually have something we can try. Let me look for it!"
Su Ziyang turned around and rummaged through the medicine cabinet, which was full of various "useful and useless" traditional Chinese medicines that Yang Tianzheng had made before.
After rummaging around for a while, Su Ziyang finally found a sealed ceramic jar.
Su Ziyang opened the ceramic jar, inside which was a blob of red and white ointment.
"Brother Han, I'll find you something in a bit. Put some of this in there. It's really useful. It's called a Navel-Warming Ointment, and it's very effective for treating chronic enteritis caused by cold!"
Su Ziyang found a small glass jar, took out a tongue depressor, scooped out a small amount of ointment from the ceramic jar, and handed it to Han Jinkai.
How do you use this thing?
Han Jinkai smelled the ointment; a unique fragrance wafted from it.
"It's very easy to use. Just put a little bit of this on your navel and secure it with medical tape. It will be fine the next day."
As Su Ziyang spoke, he took out a box of medical tape from the drawer and gave it to Han Jinkai.
"Is it really that amazing? Is it specially made for children?"
Han Jinkai carefully placed the small jar and medical tape into his bag, afraid of damaging them.
"It's not specifically for children. Adults can use it too. It's mainly for diarrhea or chronic enteritis caused by coldness in the body!"
Su Ziyang explained to Han Jinkai.
"Brother, this thing smells delicious. I wonder what treasure is inside? Can you tell me?"
Han Jinkai wasn't trying to find out Su Ziyang's prescription; he just had nothing better to do.
"Hey, if you like it, I'll tell you. It's very simple!"
The so-called Navel-Warming Ointment is mainly made of four kinds of herbs:
Cinnabar, alum, camphor, rosin.
The four herbs are taken in equal amounts and then ground into powder.
After mixing them together, find a jar or bottle and seal it tightly.
Initially, this substance was in powder form, but over time it would turn into a paste, hence the name "Qi-Warming Ointment".
You don't necessarily have to wait until this product turns into a paste before you can use it; you can use it as a powder as well.
The longer this medicine is stored, the better it becomes, and the better its effects become. Moreover, these herbs will never spoil or deteriorate.
Su Ziyang explained it to Han Jinkai, Han Jinkai listened with great interest.
"Brother, you're making a lot of sense, that's really good. I have a little idea, would you be interested in becoming a teacher?"
Han Jinkai looked at Su Ziyang happily.
"What kind of teacher?"
Su Ziyang was taken aback.
"Oh, I'm not talking about elementary or middle school teachers, I mean teachers who teach traditional Chinese medicine, real traditional Chinese medicine. If you're interested, I can recommend someone. I have a friend in college; you could go and give lectures to their medical school."
Han Jinkai's suggestion was indeed quite good, and Su Ziyang thought about it and found it interesting, so he readily agreed.
"I'll have him contact you directly then, and you can arrange it as you see fit. Maybe I'll even organize a group of friends to attend your lecture."
Han Jinkai was overjoyed when he saw that Su Ziyang had agreed.
The three chatted for about forty minutes. Su Ziyang said to Han Jinkai's wife, "Sister-in-law, your hand should be fine now. Take it out and let me see!"
Han Jinkai's wife had been listening to Su Ziyang talk about the Navel-Warming Ointment, so her attention was diverted and she didn't feel any pain.
Upon Su Ziyang's words, Han Jinkai's wife removed her fingers, even though her palms were covered in egg wash and some mung bean powder.
But it was still possible to get out; the redness and swelling on the fingers had subsided.
"Huh? It doesn't seem to hurt as much as before!"
Han Jinkai's wife exclaimed.
Su Ziyang took out another cotton swab and gently pressed it on Han Jinkai's wife's fingertip. This time, Han Jinkai's wife did not cry out in pain; she only felt a slight pain, but it was bearable.
"Okay. Brother Han, here's the rest of the powder for you two. Tomorrow, you should still follow my method and have your wife soak her fingers in it for forty minutes to an hour. The swelling and pain should completely subside in a couple of days!"
Okay, okay!
Han Jinkai carefully put away the realgar powder and mung bean powder. "Brother, you go ahead with your work. We'll head back now. When you're on vacation, call Old Song, and we'll have tea together!"
"Okay, okay!"
Su Ziyang nodded repeatedly. After seeing Han Jinkai off, a large group of acupuncture patients arrived.
Sometimes people are really strange; if they don't come, they don't come at all, but if they do come, they all come together.
Time flies when you're busy. After Su Ziyang finished giving acupuncture to the last patient, the whole morning was already over.
