Inverted Vision
Su Ziyang stopped the woman who was about to kick his son.
"Big sister, big sister! Don't hit him! This child may be naughty, but we can't hit him."
At this point, Su Ziyang also thought that the little boy was the kind of kid who didn't like going to school and was just a troublemaker.
In order to avoid going to school, Su Ziyang had once made up absurd reasons.
For example, my butt hurts whenever I sit on a bench at school.
As soon as I entered the school, my stomach started hurting, and so on...
However, this little boy's plan was clearly much better than Su Ziyang's plan back then.
Because in the past, the parents often found out, and they would usually get a beating.
Although this method is clever, judging from the little boy's condition, he must have been beaten up.
Therefore, don't skip school, or you'll get a beating.
After stopping the woman, Su Ziyang took the little boy's hand and said softly, "Xiaobao, do you not like studying? Do you not like school? Is someone bullying you at school?"
If a child who usually loves going to school suddenly doesn't want to go anymore, or finds various excuses to skip school...
That's most likely because someone at school bullied him.
If a child simply doesn't want to study, they probably won't come up with any ridiculous reasons; they'll just find a few simple excuses to delay going to school.
"No, I'm not lying, and it's not that I don't like studying. But the number Mom just wrote down, the first one is 9, the second one is 6.../%..."
The little boy mumbled something after that, and Su Ziyang couldn't hear what he was saying anymore.
However, after the little boy did that, Su Ziyang suddenly felt that something was wrong.
Could there really be a problem?
Su Ziyang was thinking to himself...
"You, I'll teach you to pretend! Doctor, isn't he actually sick? He just needs a beating!"
The woman was still angry, but Su Ziyang waved his hand at her.
Then, taking the pen and paper from the woman, Su Ziyang wrote an "M" on the paper.
"Xiaobao, what's this?"
Su Ziyang pointed to the letters on the paper.
"Dabuli!"
The little boy said "M" is "W", and the woman was about to get angry again, but Su Ziyang stopped her once more.
Su Ziyang thought for a moment, then wrote a "W" on the paper.
He pointed to the letter and asked the little boy to read it.
"M," the little boy said quickly and confidently.
Su Ziyang was not in a hurry and wrote the word "A" on the paper again.
"Yes!" the boy said again.
Then Su Ziyang wrote the word "" on the paper again.
"King!"
This time, the little boy didn't misread it.
At this point in the test, the little boy's mother realized something was wrong. She stayed where she was, no longer yelling or getting angry, but quietly watching her son.
Then Su Ziyang wrote more than ten characters such as "gan", "shi", etc. that were turned around to become other characters, as well as several completely symmetrical characters.
Su Ziyang discovered that the little boy read all the words with the word "reverse" backwards without exception.
The little boy read all the perfectly symmetrical words correctly.
"Hiss..."
The little boy's mother, who had just been overwhelmed with excitement, began to notice something amiss, because she discovered that her son was reading the words backwards.
"Son, when did you start seeing words upside down?"
The woman hugged her son tightly and asked worriedly.
"Mom, it happened last time, after I ate that stir-fried wood ear mushroom and threw up."
The little boy said softly.
The woman hugged the little boy tightly, tears streaming down her face. "My child, why didn't you tell your mother sooner? I misunderstood you, I'm so sorry!"
"It's okay, Mom. I told you before, it's just that you didn't believe me. You said I did it to avoid going to school, but I really didn't do it that way."
The little boy spoke calmly and slowly, without a trace of resentment or blame. He still hoped his mother could believe him and stop thinking of him as a bad child.
Upon hearing the boy's words, the woman cried even louder, hugging her son and letting tears stream down her face.
"Big sister, can you please stop crying?"
The tissues Su Ziyang had just handed over came in handy; Su Ziyang pulled out a few and gave them to the woman.
The woman wiped away her tears and snot... looking at Su Ziyang with teary eyes, she pleaded, "Doctor, you were able to diagnose my son's illness, you must be able to cure him! Please save my son! I beg you!"
"Don't shout! Please sit down, let Xiaobao sit too! This illness is treatable!"
Upon hearing Su Ziyang say that the illness was curable, the woman instantly stopped crying, her tears instantly disappearing.
She "lifted" her son onto the chair next to Su Ziyang's consultation table.
"Doctor, please take a look at me quickly. For this illness, would you like me to take your pulse, or try acupuncture, or pediatric massage? Just do whatever works!"
The woman was truly willing to give up her son; in just a few words, she figured out several treatment methods on her own.
"Ah, haha. Don't be in such a hurry!"
Su Ziyang gestured for the woman to rest quietly, then asked the little boy, "Xiaobao, you said that after you ate wood ear mushrooms last time and threw up, this is how you see things, right?"
The little boy didn't speak, but stared at Su Ziyang with wide eyes and nodded.
"Okay! I understand!"
Su Ziyang knew what illness the little boy had.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, this is called "Inversion of the Liver Lobes".
The eyes are able to see because they receive blood from the liver; therefore, it is said that the eyes are connected to the liver, and the spirit of the liver is reflected in the eyes.
Therefore, if the liver is skewed, the vision will be skewed; if the liver is straight, the vision will be straight; if the liver is curved, the vision will be curved; if the liver is forked, the vision will be forked.
If you look at things upside down, then the Inversion of the Liver Lobes.
Knowing the name and cause of the disease will surely allow you to know how to treat it.
Therefore, when treating an illness, one should first identify the name of the illness, then identify its cause. In most cases, the illness is curable and can be cured.
If you are completely clueless, then curing this disease will likely be even more difficult.
This is true of many things in the world, and it seems to be the same both in China and abroad.
For example, if you watch a horror movie, there's a famous foreign horror film called "Annabelle." In that movie, the way to exorcise a demon is to first find the name of the monster so that you can defeat it.
This principle is also commonly used in China when performing exorcisms.
Therefore, this principle is generally applicable in many areas.
At the very least, it can be used for medical treatment.
"The child needs to take some herbal medicine and suffer a bit more to get this illness cured!"
Su Ziyang spoke to the boy's mother, whose eyes were red and swollen from crying.
"Alright! Doctor, please treat me. As long as I can get better, suffering a little is normal!"
The boy's mother calmed herself down and then spoke to Su Ziyang.
"Okay!" Su Ziyang nodded, turned on the computer, and started prescribing the medicine.
