Invited to Give a Lecture
The elder brother was happy, Su Ziyang was even happier.
After the older man left, Su Ziyang sat down.
Another young man entered through the door.
"Doctor Su, hello. Hello! My surname is Lu, Lu Junnan. I came here last week. Do you remember me?"
Su Ziyang still remembered this person because this person had come to see Su Ziyang for five or six days in a row last week.
Their sole purpose was to get Su Ziyang to give lectures at their health center, and the price they were offering was quite high.
Su Ziyang had rejected many such organizations before, but this time, Su Ziyang felt a little embarrassed to refuse the one that came to him.
Zhuge Liang then persuaded Liu Bei thatched cottage three times.
How many times did I have to ask them to come and go?
"I remember. Please have a seat!"
Su Ziyang quickly invited Lu Junnan to sit down. Lu Junnan was overjoyed to see that Su Ziyang was not busy at the moment and invited him to sit down.
"Doctor Su, you've agreed?"
"Hey, you keep coming here, wouldn't it be too much of a fuss if I refused you again? We could try working together."
Su Ziyang got up and filled two glasses of water from the water dispenser, handing one to Lu Junnan.
"That's good. There are two reasons why I invited you. First, your medical skills are excellent and you're very famous in this area. Second, you're young. Our organization has several other lecturers, and we need a younger one."
Lu Junnan explained the reason for his "three visits to the thatched cottage".
"Thank you, thank you! Could you tell me what I usually talk about?!"
Su Ziyang was quite concerned about the content of the lecture, and Su Ziyang was also afraid that he would not deliver it well.
"Hmm. You see, you're mainly talking about traditional Chinese medicine and health preservation knowledge right now, but we also hope you can share some professional knowledge, because our target customers aren't all health enthusiasts; a large portion of them crave real knowledge!"
Lu Junnan said very seriously.
What kind of professional knowledge do they all crave?
The framework was too broad, Su Ziyang couldn't grasp it easily in a short time.
"Yes, we've considered that too. Many people want to learn Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) these days, so we'd like to invite you to give a course on how to learn TCM and how to get started!"
Lu Junnan chuckled and spoke rather politely.
"Okay. That's no problem, but you need to give me some time to prepare my lessons."
Lu Junnan was surprised that Su Ziyang agreed so readily and nodded happily.
The two discussed the time and place of the lecture, and then negotiated the tuition fee and some benefits.
After these matters were settled, Su Ziyang began preparing his lessons.
The boys' presentations lacked aesthetic appeal, but thankfully Fairy Li was there, making Su Ziyang's PPT exceptionally beautiful and attractive.
"Look, doesn't it look much better this way?"
Fairy Li showed Su Ziyang a slideshow that she had edited.
"Hmm. It looks better than mine! Not bad, here's a kiss for you!"
"Tch, you scoundrel! Get lost!"
The day for the lecture arrived as scheduled.
Su Ziyang arrived at the stage of this health and wellness institution and looked down to see men and women, young and old.
Looking at the forty or fifty people and over a hundred eyes below the stage, Su Ziyang still felt a little nervous.
"Hello everyone, my name is Su Ziyang. I am a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I am very happy to welcome you all to my lecture, and I am also very pleased to be here to learn together with you."
Su Ziyang introduced himself, and applause rang out from the audience.
"My presentation this time will be about how to quickly learn the basics of Traditional Chinese Medicine!"
"I'll just say something that everyone can understand and comprehend!"
"Good!"
Someone in the audience shouted "Bravo!" and everyone started applauding Su Ziyang again.
"Before I begin the lecture, I want to ask you all a question! What is the origin of Traditional Chinese Medicine? Does anyone know?"
