Rejection of Qian Renxue’s Pregnancy

Her attempt to strike Qian Renxue’s abdomen triggers Lin Luo’s retaliation from inside the womb. His remaining divine power blasts her through a thick wall and into Spirit Hall’s plaza, leaving her unconscious and forcing her to spend a month recovering. She subsequently offers Qian Renxue abortion medicine, but her daughter rejects it and insists on giving birth 2 5 6.

At Lin Luo’s birth, Bibi Dong orders Yue Guan to retrieve him, only for Qian Renxue’s supporters to block the way. A later eruption of golden power injures her again before her previous wounds have healed. When Lin Luo later goes missing, Bibi Dong searches for him without publicizing his disappearance. After his return, she checks him for injuries before reprimanding Qian Renxue for inadequate supervision. This convinces Qian Renxue that her mother has genuinely accepted him 30.

Lin Luo calling her “Grandma” transforms her reserve into open affection. She embraces him, tolerates him urinating on her despite her fastidiousness, and promises to defend him. Protecting Lin Luo’s Academy Secret

Bibi Dong attends Spirit Hall Academy’s freshman exchange without knowing that Lin Luo is competing. Alarmed by his appearance on the team, she rushes toward the platform when he is attacked, only to discover that he can repel the blow himself 69 71.

After his display of multiple extraordinary abilities, she publicly identifies him only as a child belonging to Spirit Hall and warns the audience against spreading exaggerated accounts. She forgives the academy staff after hearing their explanation, orders Diyala to protect him, and confines discussion of his identity to the academy 71 72.

She also thanks Hu Liena, Xie Yue, and Yan for caring for him, offers Hu Liena discipleship, and makes their selection as Spirit Hall’s Golden Generation conditional on outstanding examination results. She later agrees to withhold Lin Luo’s abilities from Qian Renxue so that mother and son can remain together when Qian Renxue returns to Heaven Dou 72 73.

Moving to Heaven Dou

When Qian Renxue leaves Spirit City, Bibi Dong announces that she will follow and take up a position at the Heaven Dou Temple. She explicitly places her daughter and grandson above remaining in Spirit Hall’s main city and promises to investigate Bo Saixi’s unexplained interest in Lin Luo 86.

Her wish to spend more time with Lin Luo occasionally clashes with Qian Renxue’s attachment to him. They reconcile during his Soul Ring hunt, when Qian Renxue invites her to visit the palace and promises that Lin Luo can spend more time with his grandmother as he grows older 112 119.

Investigating Threats to the Family

Following Dugu Bo’s death, Bibi Dong questions his recent associations and considers whether Tang San instigated the assassination attempt against Qian Renxue and Lin Luo. Subsequent intelligence identifies Tang San’s father as Tang Hao and reveals repeated visits to the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect 169 172.

She privately learns that Tang San’s teacher is Yu Xiaogang. Although some old affection remains, she decides that it cannot outweigh her grandson’s safety and would not spare Yu Xiaogang if his disciple truly intended to harm Lin Luo 172.

As a grandmother, she becomes openly indulgent and protective.
