The Wandenreich infiltration succeeds
In the following days, Tōsen returned.
The experiments with the Hōgyoku were able to continue.
The Reiatsu cluster in the petri dish slowly reassembled in the blue light, and everything seemed no different from usual.
But Wang Xun's attention was no longer on the experiment.
He was observing the Kaname Tōsen who had been sent back.
Using her weakened physical condition as an excuse, Kaname Tōsen only took on some auxiliary tasks.
Silent and unsmiling, on the surface he seemed no different from before.
But Wang Xun could sense that beneath that perfect exterior, there were subtle differences.
"Tōsen, could you check the Reiatsu data here for me?"
Wang Xun handed over a document, speaking casually.
Kaname Tōsen took the document, his fingers lightly tracing the pages, and remained silent for a moment.
"The data is fine and can be used directly."
Wang Xun's brow twitched slightly.
He deliberately made a mistake in the data here, which someone with Kaname Tōsen's skill level could spot at a glance.
But he didn't find Kaname Tōsen in front of him.
"Really? That's good."
Wang Xun took back the document without revealing anything.
Kaname Tōsen lowered his head and continued with his work.
Wang Xun noticed that when he was conducting the experiment, the Reiatsu output of his fingers was weaker than that of the real Kaname Tōsen, and the rhythm was also slightly off.
These differences were so subtle that they were almost imperceptible unless he observed them carefully.
Kaname Tōsen's technical capabilities have declined.
There's a point where you know what to do, but can't quite execute it properly.
This indicates that the person in front of you has inherited Kaname Tōsen's memories and knowledge, but his physical abilities are not yet at the level of the original owner.
Subsequently, during the operation, Wang Xun deliberately brought up the issue of Reiatsu matching with the Hōgyoku.
"Tōsen, what are your thoughts on the Reiatsu output frequency of the Hōgyoku? I think the current compatibility could be further optimized."
While calibrating the spell nodes, Wang Xun casually asked a question.
Kaname Tōsen was silent for a moment.
"Lord Aizen has his reasons; we simply need to follow them and need not make any unauthorized changes."
This answer is flawless.
However, Wang Xun noticed that when he talked about the Hōgyoku, Kaname Tōsen's emotions showed a very subtle fluctuation.
Wang Xun's heart sank.
The Quincy's target is the Hōgyoku.
They sent a fake Kaname Tōsen not only to monitor Aizen, but also to steal information about the Hōgyoku, and even to find an opportunity to seize Hōgyoku.
This realization set off alarm bells in Wang Xun's mind, but it also sparked a bold idea in his head.
The Quincy wanted to Hōgyoku.
He also wanted the Hōgyoku.
If the Quincy eventually lose their temper and try to seize it, he might be able to take advantage of the situation.
He also sent his clones to attack at the same time, seizing the opportunity to steal the Hōgyoku amidst the chaos.
If you succeed, you get the Hōgyoku; if you fail, you can blame it on the Quincy.
Aizen's hatred will be diverted, allowing him to continue his covert operations.
Wang Xun suppressed the turmoil in his heart, his face remaining calm and composed.
In the following days, he found several more Schrift Fragment near Kaname Tōsen.
Each time, those tiny specks of light would be absorbed into his body without him even noticing, and the system notification would flash quietly.

[Schrift: A - The All-Consuming (Awakening Level: 5%)]
The moment his awakening level broke through 5%, Wang Xun felt the cold Quincy power within his body tremble slightly.
Like a sleeping wild beast turning over, it wasn't fully awake yet, but its breathing was already rising and falling.
He could sense that the power of the Schrift, the Glutton, was already vaguely within his grasp.
Although it's only the faintest possible effect, it is indeed possible.
On this day, after the experiment ended, Kaname Tōsen walked past him.
Wang Xun calmly reached out and gently patted his shoulder.
"Thanks for your hard work."
The movements were natural, the tone casual, like a simple greeting.
But in his palm, the power of the Schrift A quietly activated.
It began to devour the Reiatsu emanating from Kaname Tōsen's body, the Glutton to an extremely weak degree.
The amount absorbed was so minuscule that Wang Xun wouldn't have been able to perceive it if the system notification hadn't appeared.

Kaname Tōsen paused slightly.
He turned his head to the side, his blind eyes tightly closed, but his brows were slightly furrowed.
"What's wrong?"
Wang Xun asked, his tone calm.
Kaname Tōsen was silent for a moment.
"It's nothing, I'm probably just feeling a little unwell because my injury hasn't fully healed yet."
He turned and walked away.
Wang Xun watched his retreating figure, a slight smile curving his lips.
Once it comes into contact with the Glutton, it can automatically absorb the target's Reiatsu.
That's the truly terrifying aspect of this ability.
Any creature composed of Reishi will have its power unknowingly stolen by Wang Xun once he comes into contact with it.
Those powers transformed into Spiritual Might experience points, which slowly accumulated into Wang Xun's body.
When the awakening of the Schrift reaches 100%, that is when its true power is unleashed.
Wang Xun withdrew his gaze and turned to leave the depths of the laboratory.
He was already planning his next move.
A few days later, in the secret laboratory of the Maggot's Nest.
Wang Xun walked through the layers of corridors and entered the familiar laboratory.
Kisuke Urahara stood in front of the lab bench, fiddling with the instruments in front of him.
Mayuri Kurotsuchi is no longer here.
Upon seeing Wang Xun enter, Urahara looked up, a rare hint of joy on his face.
"The passage is now set up."
Wang Xun's brow twitched slightly.
"It's working now?"
Urahara walked to the lab bench and pointed to a dark dot in the center.
"Although I haven't fully mastered the Quincy's techniques and can't freely use the Shadow Space, I can already do simple imitations."
"Once the instrument is activated, an entrance can be opened here."
"And I've prepared everything else that needed to be prepared."
As he spoke, Kisuke Urahara took out a small package.
"Inside is a portable Gigai. I created it thanks to the Reiatsu you collected from Kaname Tōsen a few days ago."
"The enemy's abilities are truly terrifying. That fake Kaname Tōsen's Reiatsu is exactly the same as the real Kaname Tōsen. If you hadn't told me beforehand, I wouldn't have been able to tell the difference."
Wang Xun took the package containing the artificial Gigai and examined it carefully.
His Reiatsu fluctuations are exactly the same as Kaname Tōsen's.
"How long can this Gigai remain within the Wandenreich?"
"As long as the enemy doesn't completely dissect him, keeping it a secret for a while shouldn't be a problem."
"Now, we can go to that world full of enemies and investigate."
Upon hearing this, Wang Xun looked at Kisuke Urahara.
"Us?"
"Of course, I wouldn't dare let you take such a risk," Urahara said calmly. "Besides, do you think I would miss out on something like this?"
Urahara's lips curled slightly upward as he took out two black cloaks from under the lab table and handed one to Wang Xun.
"This is a Reiatsu concealment cloak that I developed. Wearing it will completely conceal your Reiatsu, making you imperceptible to everyone."
Wang Xun took the cloak; the fabric was light and supple, and felt slightly cool to the touch.
He unfolded his cloak and draped it over himself.
His Reiatsu was instantly suppressed to almost zero, as if he had disappeared from this world.
"Good."
Wang Xun paused briefly, then nodded.
With Kisuke Urahara around, things will definitely be much more convenient, and safety will also be guaranteed.
"Ready?"
Kisuke Urahara raised his hand and gently touched it. The jet-black dot began to spread, like a drop of ink falling into water, slowly spreading in the air.
A few breaths later, a six-pointed star-shaped black vortex appeared above the experimental table, reflecting a blurry scene of another world.
A dim sky, white buildings, and faint Reishi light visible in the distance.
Kisuke Urahara turned his head and looked at Wang Xun.
Are you ready?
Wang Xun a deep breath, pulled his hood down, and covered most of his face.
"Walk."
The two stepped into the black vortex at the same time.
Darkness, a brief moment of weightlessness, and then the feeling of being grounded.
The two looked around at their surroundings.
The sky above the Wandenreich was grayish-white, with only a thick layer of Reishi clouds covering the dome, filtering the light into a cold white.
The air was filled with clear, cold Reishi, a stark contrast to the warmth of Soul Society.
Wang Xun and Urahara stood in a narrow alley, flanked by towering white walls.
In the distance, the outlines of towers and palaces are faintly visible, casting flamboyant silhouettes against the gray-white sky.
Urahara's gaze swept across the surroundings.
Immediately afterwards, Kisuke Urahara took out a small device from his pocket, probed it with his Reiatsu, and began to analyze the surrounding environment.
The data on the instrument fluctuated rapidly: Reishi concentration, spatial stability, Reiatsu fluctuation frequency—every single data point was recorded and analyzed.
"The composition of Reishi in this space is completely different from that of Soul Society."
Urahara's voice was low, tinged with excitement.
"The Quincy have been able to survive here for nine hundred years not only because of their stealth, but also because of this complete ecosystem."
Wang Xun did not respond.
His gaze fell at the end of the alley, where a group of Quincy in white uniforms were walking towards them.
Their steps were synchronized, and their Reiatsu was steady, clearly indicating that they were well-trained.
Wang Xun pulled Urahara back into the shadows, the two of them pressed against the wall, motionless.
The patrol team walked past the alley entrance, and no one noticed the two dark figures deep inside the alley.
"Walk."
Urahara said softly.
The two walked deeper into the alley.
Along the way, they avoided patrols and crossed street after street.
The architecture of the Wandenreich is simple and austere, with white walls and silver patterns, and each building looks as if it was carved from the same boulder.
As he walked, Urahara used his instruments to record the surrounding environment.
His movements were quick and skillful, clearly indicating that he had performed similar tasks countless times.
"The defenses and vigilance here are weaker than I expected."
Kisuke Urahara said in a low voice.
"Perhaps they never imagined that someone would discover them and invade this world."
"Of course, it's also possible that most of their forces are deployed in more central areas."
"Let's be cautious."
Wang Xun nodded.
He didn't speak, but simply followed Urahara, taking notes of the route as they walked.
After walking for a short while, the view suddenly opened up before them.
A colossal palace came into view, its towering spires piercing the greyish-white sky.
The palace gates were wide open, and several guards stood at the entrance, dressed in white uniforms with swords at their waists.
Urahara stopped and pulled Wang Xun into a shady spot.
He took out a telescope-like instrument from his pocket, aimed it at the palace, and adjusted the focus.
"Silbern."
His voice was very low.
"Based on the intelligence we just gathered, this is the core of the Wandenreich, and their emperor resides in this palace."
Wang Xun looked at the palace and remained silent for a moment.
"Where do you think Kaname Tōsen be locked up?"
Urahara shook his head.
"I don't know, but... we can ask someone."
Wang Xun's brow twitched slightly.
What are you planning to do?
Urahara did not answer.
His gaze fell on a lone Quincy not far away.
The man, dressed in a white uniform with a sword at his waist, was walking out of an alley, seemingly heading somewhere.
Urahara's figure vanished from the spot.
Shunpo, silent and stealthy.
The Quincy didn't even have time to react before he was struck in the back of the neck.
His body went limp and fell to the ground, where Urahara caught him and dragged him into the alley.
Wang Xun followed and saw Urahara take out a small syringe from his pocket and insert the needle into the Quincy's neck.
"The anesthetic will keep him asleep for fifteen minutes."
Urahara said.
Then, he took out another device from his pocket, a round device that looked like a headband.
He placed the device on the Quincy's forehead, and as his Reiatsu seeped in, the device began to emit a faint blue light.
Wang Xun looked at the device, a hint of curiosity flashing in his eyes.
"What's this?"
"Hypnotic device, specially designed for Quincy."
Urahara's voice was very low.
"It guides the hypnotized person without leaving a trace or being detected."
He paused, then spoke.
"May I have your name?"
The Quincy opened his empty eyes, his lips slightly parted, and his voice was hollow and mechanical.
"Alphard."
What is your position in the Wandenreich?
"Members of the Third Division of the patrol team outside Silbern."
Kisuke Urahara's lips curled into a slight smile as he began to meticulously inquire about everything the Quincy knew about the Wandenreich.
Only at the very end, after writing down everything he wanted to know, did Kisuke Urahara quietly inquire about the purpose of their visit.
Are there any prisoners being held in Silbern?
"Yes, in an underground prison."
Who are the people locked up in the prison?
"N-no... I don't know, I don't have permission to access this."
Urahara's brows furrowed slightly.
He changed the question.
Have any new prisoners been brought in recently? Like, Soul Reaper?
"Have no idea."
Urahara frowned slightly and continued to ask.
"If there is a very important prisoner, where will he be kept?"
"The underground prison, the third level, the deepest part."
After inquiring about the exact location and entry method, Urahara and Wang Xun exchanged a glance.
Urahara took a small cylinder from his pocket and flashed it at the Quincy.
A faint glimmer of light flashed, and the Quincy's eyes closed.
"He won't remember what happened when he wakes up."
Urahara put away the instruments and looked at Wang Xun.
"The target's location has been roughly confirmed in the deepest part of the third level of the underground prison."
Wang Xun nodded.
"Let's go scout ahead. If possible, let's find Kaname Tōsen first. We can deal with the rest later."
Urahara nodded.
The two wrapped their cloaks tightly around themselves and headed towards Silbern.
Behind him, the anesthetized Quincy leaned against the wall. After a moment, he opened his eyes and looked around in confusion.
In the shadows, two black figures vanished silently.
