The next day, sunlight spilled across the streets, and the world welcomed a brand-new day.
Morning light filtered through the gaps in the windows and fell into the Tohsaka Estate, specks of radiance adding a trace of brightness to the gloomy mansion.
Yawning, Yu Feng walked out of his room. When he reached the first floor, he found that Emiya had already prepared breakfast.
"I didn't expect you to know how to make breakfast too. Planning to become a manservant?" Yu Feng teased.
Emiya smiled helplessly. "It's just a habit certain people raised me into. Besides, I was quite skilled at cooking when I was alive, though that was a long time ago."
"Alright, I'll go wash up first. Oh, and I hope you made enough breakfast." Leaving those words behind, Yu Feng went to freshen up. It was still early, and Rin Tohsaka was still sleeping in. Yu Feng's habit of waking early had also been cultivated by someone.
As Yu Feng washed up, he looked at himself in the mirror. A complicated emotion flashed through his amber eyes.
When Yu Feng came out after washing up, he saw that Emiya had filled the dining table to the brim. Yu Feng gave him a surprised look, while Emiya looked at him. "Are you going to wake her, or should I?"
"I'll do it. It's about time to wake her up."
As he spoke, Yu Feng arrived at Rin Tohsaka's door and pushed it open without hesitation. The moment he entered, he saw Rin Tohsaka changing clothes, and she saw Yu Feng walking in as well.
A blush swiftly spread across Rin Tohsaka's face, followed by a voice that echoed through the entire Tohsaka Estate.
"PERVERT!!!"
Yu Feng quickly came downstairs, only to see Emiya trying to hold back his laughter. Yu Feng's resentful gaze immediately fixed on him.
"You knew this was going to happen, didn't you?"
"No, I only anticipated it. But I didn't expect her reaction to be this big."
Yu Feng complained, "Since when were you this devious?"
Emiya merely smiled and said nothing.
After a while, Rin Tohsaka came downstairs with a faint blush still on her face. When she saw Yu Feng, she gave a heavy snort.
Yu Feng only rubbed his nose and said nothing.
At that moment, Mordred suddenly appeared before them.
When Mordred saw the breakfast covering the table, her eyes lit up. "Ah, it's time to eat! Then I won't hold back!"
With that, Mordred swiftly sat down and began eating. Rin Tohsaka stared in astonishment at the speed at which Mordred ate.
Does this girl have a bottomless stomach? Rin Tohsaka could not help thinking.
Yu Feng and Emiya, however, seemed to have expected this and remained perfectly calm.
While eating breakfast, Yu Feng remembered something and said to Rin Tohsaka, "Rin, I have something to do after school this afternoon. I might be back a little late."
Rin Tohsaka replied without caring much, "Mm-hm, no problem. As long as you come back."
After Rin Tohsaka said that, the look Emiya gave her became strange.
After they finished eating, most of the breakfast on the table had ended up in Mordred's stomach. Yu Feng, Rin Tohsaka, and the others had not eaten much.
Mordred patted Emiya's shoulder with a satisfied expression. "You're a pretty good cook. One day, I'll make you my personal chef."
Emiya's face darkened.
A phrase suddenly popped into Yu Feng's mind.

Come to think of it, that name suited Emiya quite well.
Yu Feng thought as he held back his laughter.
"You aren't thinking of something bad, are you?" Emiya could not help asking as he looked at Yu Feng's somewhat odd expression.
"No." Yu Feng's expression instantly returned to normal, with no trace of his earlier oddity.
"No, you were definitely thinking something bad. Right? You definitely were, weren't you?" Emiya complained.
Outside the gates of Homonculus Academy.
Countless students entered the campus from outside, and Yu Feng and Rin Tohsaka were among them.
"Hey! Rin!" A voice called out just then. It was Ayako Mitsuzuri.
"Good morning, Yu-kun." Ayako Mitsuzuri greeted Yu Feng as well.
"Good morning." Yu Feng returned the greeting.
Ayako Mitsuzuri pulled Rin Tohsaka aside and whispered a few words to her, making Rin Tohsaka blush furiously. Yu Feng knew that staying there was worse than leaving first.
"I have something to take care of, so I'll head off first." Yu Feng said to the two of them before walking toward the school building.
Rin Tohsaka looked at Yu Feng's retreating figure and fell into thought. Seeing how seriously she was thinking, Ayako Mitsuzuri smacked her hard.
"Well? How did it go?"
Faced with Ayako Mitsuzuri's question, Rin Tohsaka did not react at first. "How did what go?"
Ayako Mitsuzuri looked as though she was disappointed by Rin Tohsaka's failure to live up to expectations. "What else could I mean? Your relationship! Did it work out?"
"You! What are you talking about? We're not in that kind of relationship."
Hearing that, Ayako Mitsuzuri looked at Rin Tohsaka with some disappointment, which made Rin Tohsaka rather unhappy. "Hey, what kind of look is that? Is there anything wrong with what I said?"
"Huh? Don't you know that the one nearest the water gets the moon first? Other than having a slightly awful personality, what's bad about Yu-kun? Haven't you noticed it usually? You two are such a perfect match in looks and talent, so don't tell me you aren't interested in him."
"With that face and silver hair, he has a bit of that cute puppy vibe. If he brushed his hair back and acted a little cooler, he'd be a downright cold and handsome guy! If you don't make your move now, when will you?"
"And those hints you dropped every now and then before... you don't seriously think he didn't understand, do you? Honestly, when are you going to fix that personality of yours?"

As Rin Tohsaka listened to Ayako Mitsuzuri's nagging, she suddenly recalled what Yu Feng had done to her last night.
Rin Tohsaka's face immediately flushed red.
"Alright, alright, stop nagging. I know what I'm doing."
Seeing the slight blush on Rin Tohsaka's face, Ayako Mitsuzuri's extinguished gossiping heart instantly reignited. "What happened? What happened? Did Yu-kun do something to you? Tell me."
Rin Tohsaka thought for a moment, then gave Ayako Mitsuzuri a haughty glance.
"I'll tell you after school this afternoon."
With that, she walked straight ahead.
"Huh~? Tohsaka! You can't just leave people hanging like that! Why do you have the same awful personality as Yu-kun?" Ayako Mitsuzuri wailed as she hurried after Rin Tohsaka.
"Who told you to call me that just now? Honestly, just wait patiently until school ends this afternoon."
"Ah, seriously, Tohsaka, you're too cruel."
