The Void Watcher had been burned away by Kaisha and He Xi, greatly surprising Lissandra.
Could it be that being sealed in True Ice for too long had drained its power and weakened it?
That was what she thought, unwilling to admit that Kaisha and He Xi were simply stronger than the Void Watcher.
"These so-called Void Watchers aren't much, are they? Come to think of it, why do they call themselves Void Watchers? Are they different from ordinary Void creatures?"
He Xi turned her gaze toward Lissandra, naturally hoping to get an answer from her.
Lissandra merely shook her head. She did not know why these Void Watchers were called that. Perhaps they were simply stronger than ordinary Void creatures.
"Rather than asking her, why not let the Void Watchers answer that question themselves?"
As she spoke, Kaisha broke open another Void Watcher frozen within True Ice.
The newly unsealed Void Watcher moved its tentacles and its enormous eyeball. That giant eye seemed to be analyzing the current situation.
"Hey? Can you understand us? Why do you call yourselves Void Watchers? How are you different from ordinary Void creatures?"
"We are the creators of the Void! Despicable Lissandra, you dared deceive us! You must be destroyed, and everything must return to the Void!"
"Creators of the Void? Does that mean all the other Void creatures were made by you Void Watchers? What exactly are you Void monsters?"
The Void Watcher did not answer He Xi's question again. Its enormous eye fired a beam of purple light, brimming with tremendous power and corrosive force, but He Xi easily blocked it.
"Since you can't communicate, we'll slaughter you."
Kaisha and He Xi attacked once more. The Void Watcher swung its tentacles in retaliation, but Kaisha and He Xi severed them together.
