Obstruction
Hiruzen Sarutobi, Mitokado Homura, and Utatane Koharu sat in the conference room, the atmosphere heavy and oppressive.
They engaged in heated discussions about how to deal with Danzo, but ultimately failed to find a satisfactory answer.
Just as they were deep in thought, there was a sudden, urgent knocking on the door.
"Come in," Hiruzen Sarutobi said in a deep voice.
The door opened, and a member of the Anbu Earth Flow in looking flustered.
His forehead was covered in sweat, and he was breathing rapidly, clearly having brought important news.
"Something's wrong!" The voices of the Anbu members were filled with tension and anxiety. The Uchiha Yashiro, leading about forty or fifty Uchiha Clan, was heading towards the Hokage Building, and...
"And what? Tell me!" Mitokado Homura asked eagerly.
"Moreover, as they advanced, more and more Uchiha Clan and some angry Konoha joined them. Now, they number in the hundreds, and their numbers are still growing!"
Upon hearing this news, the three people inside the room turned pale and were shocked.
They immediately realized that this was no longer a simple protest or demonstration, but an event that could have serious consequences.
The collective action of the Uchiha Clan, coupled with the involvement of the villagers, could easily lead to chaos and misunderstandings, and could even escalate into an uncontrollable riot!
The news brought by the Anbu agents was like a bombshell, instantly detonating in the room and making everyone's heart beat faster.
Mitokado Homura was the first to recover from the shock. A hint of anger appeared on his face, and his tone was clearly accusatory.
"The Uchiha Clan is truly treacherous and ambitious. What they're doing is a blatant challenge to Konoha's authority. They don't take us seriously at all; who knows what they'll do in the future!"
Utatane Koharu, followed closely behind, her voice filled with dissatisfaction and worry. "That's right, their behavior is too arrogant."
However, Hiruzen Sarutobi. He slammed his fist on the table and shouted, "Shut up! Haven't you considered that if Danzo hadn't driven them to a corner, why would they have taken such extreme measures?"
"How could he have the nerve to lay a hand on a child?!"
The Third Hokage's voice echoed in the room, his words filled with unquestionable authority. Mitokado Homura and Utatane Koharu knew they were in the wrong, so they didn't say anything more.
Hiruzen Sarutobi's gaze was piercing. He turned to look at Mitokado Homura and Utatane Koharu beside him and said in a firm and unquestionable tone.
"Yan, Koharu, the situation is urgent. You two must set off immediately to intercept the Uchiha Yashiro and his clansmen. Your task is to persuade them to stop advancing and absolutely prevent them from continuing towards the Hokage Building!"
"Remember, our goal is to quell this storm, not escalate the conflict. We must absolutely not take any actions that would further provoke the Uchiha Clan!" His voice was deep and powerful, as if every word carried a heavy weight.
Upon hearing this, Mitokado Homura and Utatane Koharu immediately stood up, their expressions grave, clearly realizing the difficulty of this mission.
"Understood, Hiruzen. We will do everything in our power to stop them and ensure that no unnecessary conflict arises." Yan's tone revealed a resolute determination.
"We'll proceed with caution, Hiruzen," Koharu added.
Hiruzen Sarutobi slightly, indicating his trust in them. Then, he slowly rose and solemnly said, "As for me, I will personally go to find Danzo."
It seems he has no choice but to personally invite this old friend!
As Mitokado Homura and Utatane Koharu hurriedly left the meeting room, Hiruzen Sarutobi took a deep breath, adjusted his mood, and prepared for the difficult moment that was about to begin.
On the streets of Konoha, Uchiha Yashiro led a group of clansmen slowly forward.
Initially, the group consisted of only forty or fifty people, but as they moved through the village, more and more angry villagers were drawn to them and joined them.
These villagers were all dissatisfied with the status quo. They stood silently behind the Uchiha Clan, expressing their support through their actions.
Soon, this originally small team grew rapidly, with its number exceeding one hundred people.
However, contrary to the expected noise and commotion, the group was unusually quiet.
There were no loud shouts, no fierce slogans, only heavy footsteps and occasional whispers.
This unusual silence is all the more attention-grabbing; it's like a silent protest, causing people to stop in their tracks and turn their gaze to it.
The villagers who were passing by saw this scene and began to whisper among themselves and discuss it.
"Look, isn't that the Uchiha Clan?" a villager whispered.
Another villager chimed in, "Yes, what are they up to?"
Others looked on with sympathy and whispered, "Poor Uchiha Clan, so much has happened to them lately..."
Many people have heard about the attack on Koki and have expressed their sympathy for the recent misfortunes of the Uchiha Clan.
Just then, a cold light ripped through the air, and a Kunai flew in with lightning speed, as swift as a bolt of lightning, carrying a sharp killing intent, aimed directly at the team led by Uchiha Yashiro.
That Kunai, like the Grim Reaper's scythe, gleamed with a cold, chilling light, sending shivers down one's spine.
Yashiro's eyes caught that deadly glint in an instant, and his body reacted almost instinctively.
He swiftly drew his Kunai and swung it with a speed almost imperceptible to the naked eye, accurately Kunai.
The sharp clanging of metal against metal was particularly jarring on the quiet street, shattering the tranquility.
The crisp sound seemed like the signal that a battle was about to begin, making one's heart tighten.
With this sudden attack, the entire team immediately went on high alert.
The Uchiha clan members quickly assumed fighting stances, their eyes filled with vigilance, ready to deal with any possible threat at any moment.
They gripped their weapons tightly, their eyes sharp as eagles, closely monitoring their surroundings to prevent further attacks.
Just then, Mitokado Homura and Utatane Koharu appeared at the other end of the street.
Behind them followed several cloaked members of the Anbu Guard, each with a mask covering their face, revealing only their sharp eyes. They exuded a menacing aura and were clearly well-prepared.
These members of the Anbu moved with steady steps and agility, clearly well-trained experts.
Mitokado Homura walked at the front, his face serious, his brows slightly furrowed, revealing an inviolable majesty.
He gripped a Ninja Blade tightly in his hand, the hilt inlaid with a red gem that gleamed faintly.
He raised a hand, signaling the members of the Anbu behind him to keep their distance.
Uchiha Yashiro stood at the very front of the group, his gaze fixed on Mitokado Homura as she approached, his eyes flashing with a sharp light.
When Homura's figure came into clear view, a barely perceptible cold glint flashed in Yashiro's eyes. He narrowed his eyes slightly, as if scrutinizing the other party's intentions.
"Is the village advisor going to turn on the civilians now?" Yashiro's voice carried a hint of sarcasm and provocation; his words were like a sharp blade, piercing Mitokado Homura's heart.
His lips curled up slightly, revealing a contemptuous smile.
Upon hearing this, Mitokado Homura was startled.
He stopped and exchanged a glance with Uchiha Yashiro, pondering the other's intentions.
"Yashiro, you've misunderstood," Yan said, his voice carrying an irresistible persuasiveness. "It was just a warning; we don't intend to harm anyone."
"A warning?" Yashiro's tone was skeptical. "Then may I ask, Mitokado Homura, what are you warning me about?" His voice was mocking, seemingly unconvinced by Mitokado Homura's explanation.
