The Land of Rain
The Land of Rain struggles to survive amidst the clash of several powerful nations, seemingly abandoned by the entire world, becoming a desolate and dark corner.
Looking up, the sky was filled with dark, swirling clouds, as deep as ink, which seemed to hang there forever. Fine raindrops fell, weaving a light veil that relentlessly covered the country, giving it a mysterious and enigmatic veil.
Here, desolation and chaos intertwine, and an endless sense of bleakness permeates the air.
Between the streets and alleys, dilapidated houses stand haphazardly, and on the muddy paths, pedestrians hurry along, their faces etched with weariness and despair.
Due to extreme scarcity of resources, the land of the Land of Rain has become exceptionally barren, unable to provide enough nutrients to sustain its people. The people are forced to struggle on this desolate land, desperately seeking even the slightest hope of survival.
The nation's foundation was extremely fragile; commerce had not yet taken off, and industry was out of the question. The few remaining small workshops were barely maintaining a faint flame of livelihood.
Stepping into the shops, one finds a pitifully small amount of goods on display, reflecting the extremely low living standards of the people. Poverty is a heavy iron lock, ruthlessly strangling the throats of the masses.
To make matters worse, the Land of Rain's military strength is quite weak, making it feel like it's walking on thin ice amidst the surrounding great powers.
Lacking both elite troops and sophisticated weaponry, they consisted of a hastily assembled group of ninjas tasked with protecting their homeland.
In the eyes of those powerful nations, the Land of Rain is nothing more than an insignificant and incredibly fragile ant, seemingly vulnerable to being trampled underfoot at any moment, utterly powerless to resist.
However, what was unexpected was that this seemingly small and weak nation actually displayed astonishing courage and unwavering determination during the thrilling Second Shinobi World War.
As the supreme leader of Amegakure, the Demigod Hanzo of the Salamander the Salamander knew perfectly well that if the Land of Rain continued to play the role of a dispensable appendage to the great powers, it would never be able to escape this lowly and inferior fate.
He knew that he had to find a different path, a unique way forward, because only in this way could he completely reverse the country's current predicament.
After all, in this extremely cruel world, if one does not possess sufficient strength, the so-called "peace" is nothing but an empty slogan!
Therefore, after careful consideration, Hanzō issued a declaration of war without hesitation, openly provoking the three powerful nations that dominated the world.
To outsiders, this action seemed tantamount to a moth drawn to a flame, a suicidal act, utterly reckless and impulsive.
In reality, this was by no means a crazy act made in Hanzō. On the contrary, he deeply understood the principle that "the first to strike wins, the last to strike suffers."
Only by taking the initiative and seizing the initiative can we avoid being bullied and humiliated by other countries.
And so, under Hanzō's leadership, all the people of Amegakure bravely stepped forward and threw themselves into this arduous and extraordinary battle, fighting to the very end.
Although the final outcome was a resounding victory for Konoha, it is undeniable that Hanzō to Hanzo's courageous and fearless leadership and command, Amegakure it once was.
From then on, no one dared to despise or wantonly invade this land.
Because they have proven to the world through their actions that even the weaker group does not have to rely on the stronger to survive.
In a corner of the Land of Rain, the drizzle continues to fall like fine threads, seemingly telling a tale of endless sorrow.
The once-powerful Hanzo of the Salamander, hailed as Demigod in the Shinobi World, has now fallen into a pitiful state.
In the past, he was a fearless warrior who challenged the three great powers, leading the Amegakure to forge ahead in adversity.
At that time, he was filled with longing and hope for the future of the country, full of courage and determination. He faced powerful enemies without fear, overcame numerous obstacles, and spared no effort to rewrite the destiny of the Land of Rain.
However, as time passed, the hero who once dared to declare war on the three kingdoms gradually drifted away in the mire of power and wealth. The cheers of victory seemed to have become a mesmerizing spell, causing Hanzō to lose his way.
His former lofty ambitions have been eroded by greed and suspicion. He is no longer the hero who stood up for the people and the country, but has turned into a suspicious miser.
Hanzō recruited countless bodyguards to surround himself, and his palace was heavily guarded, with sentries standing guard in every corner.
He was constantly on guard, as if the whole world coveted his existence.
He was like a patient suffering from paranoia, his mind always filled with the fear that "there are always treacherous subjects trying to harm me."
He no longer trusted anyone, and even his former comrades and subordinates were filled with suspicion.
In Hanzō's luxurious palace, Danzo huddled in his wheelchair, his figure utterly dejected, his face as pale as paper. The arrogance of Konoha that he once possessed had vanished into dust, leaving only a heavy sense of defeat.
His hair was disheveled like straw, and his clothes were tattered, forming a stark and cruel contrast to his former heroic and dashing appearance in Konoha.
After being resurrected by Orochimaru, Danzo was placed here by Hiruzen Sarutobi to prevent others from discovering him.
Hiruzen Sarutobi made a deal with Hanzō, entrusting him with Danzo's safety.
However, Danzo was filled with resentment and bitterness, as if he had been abandoned by Hiruzen and become an insignificant pawn.
"Those children are right in front of us, and they will soon replace you!" Danzo said sarcastically, his voice revealing a hint of schadenfreude.
He knew his situation was precarious, yet he still wanted to make Hanzō suffer as well.
Upon hearing Hanzō flew into a rage and slapped Danzo hard Danzo.
"Shut up! This isn't Konoha, you have no right to speak!" He wouldn't allow anyone to question his authority.
The recent rise of a new force has made him even more uneasy. These young people are full of vigor, and their strength and courage make Hanzō feel threatened like never before.
Their presence was like a sharp sword Hanzō's head, making him constantly feel the shadow of danger.
"You!" Danzo's cheek was slapped to one side. Despite the excruciating pain, he gritted his teeth, his heart filled with humiliation.
But he knew his current situation, so he didn't say anything more, just silently lowered his head, pondering his future.
A profound silence fell over the palace, broken only by the continuous sound of fine rain outside.
Danzo in his wheelchair, Danzo secretly vowed to find an opportunity to return to Konoha and reclaim his power. He would not be abandoned like this; he would make those who had looked down on him pay the price.
Hanzō paced back and forth in his palace, watching the rain outside the window, his thoughts drifting to distant places.
What will the future hold for the Land of Rain? Hanzō doesn't know. All he knows is that he has lost his former courage and determination, lost the self that dared to challenge everything.
